The guys that came out were very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend.
Description of Work: I had them come to my house due to a concern that there were rodents in my attic. They thoroughly inspected the house and found several areas that were possible entry points. I was able to determine which repairs I wanted done and they performed them before leaving that day. They also made recommendations regarding trees that were near the home and how to eliminate them from being access points to the roof. They also set traps in the attic to catch any rodents that may have been trapped after the repairs had been done.

Highest compliments! Came home from work and heard a strange noise upstairs, like a ceiling fan was off-kilter and making a thumping noise. It was about 7:30, mid-September, starting to get dark. As I got to the top of the stairs, I could see what looked like a brown ceiling fan in my master bathroom - except there is no ceiling fan in my master bathroom - it was a bat! I called and spoke with Mike. Angel was at my house in less than 30 minutes, found the bat (now landed in a closet), captured the bat and released it outside - extremely grateful! I had heard noise in my attic and thought it was squirrels. I had spoken with Mike and scheduled an appointment to investigate the attic. Live in a two-story townhome. The homeowners association knew it was bats, but did not tell the residents. Instead, they hired probably a handyman to attempt to do a "bat exclusion" with netting that was put on too tight (on for at least five days). The bats were unable to exit the attic to the outside so one came into the living area of my townhome. After the bat was released, we looked at the netting installed by a handyman and could see a bat trying to get outside but unable to do so. Florida Fish and Wildlife came out the next morning to inspect the netting and gave instructions to either loosen the netting or remove it to allow the bats to exit. Don't know how often a bat is found flying around the inside of someone's home or apartment, but if this happens, you definitely want to call Mike and Angel!

I called because we live in coastal Florida and began hearing animals in our attic. We set traps, but needed help in pinpointing where they were coming in. I called All Pro Wildlife and spoke with Mike, the owner. He offered me an appointment several days later, which I took. The technician arrived on time as scheduled, his name was Angel. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He took a ladder and went around my (2 story) house and inspected the entire eave. He went up on the roof and then came inside and explored the attic. He was a fountain of information. Not only did he tell me what he was looking for, he pointed out all of the "clues" he saw. Ultimately he was able to find the exact place where roof rats had chewed a hole into the attic. He repaired it with hardware cloth and foam right on the spot. He offered to trap any remaining rats out of the attic, but since my husband agreed to do it, he told us exactly how to proceed to get the best result. I was very impressed with Angel. He clearly knew exactly what he was looking for and was able to quickly discern what areas were the most likely ingress points. He did not try to pressure me with ongoing contracts or elaborate repairs. He was very agreeable to having me do any of the work I wanted (like trapping) and offered his experience to make the job easier. I could not be more pleased. If we ever have a recurrence, or need additional help, I will call again and ask for Angel. I am revising my review because we had some problems as a result of "repairs" that were done to keep the roof rats out of my attic. Angel showed me a spot next to a downspout where the rat had chewed into the attic. He repaired the hole, but then recommended that we put hardware wire caps on the base of all of our downspouts to keep the rats from going up inside them. This involved him fashioning caps of hardware cloth wire and screwing them onto the base of each downspout. He installed four of them for me ($25 each). He also installed a hardware screen over a roof drain to "keep the rats out", another $25. These were disasterous suggestions. Over the next few rains, 100% if the downspouts plugged up with leaves and the roof drain plugged completely, causing the drain to overflow and cause a roof leak. I finally hauled out a ladder and went up to look closely at the repair at the eave where the downspout hole was. That repair was intact, but it was on the OUTSIDE of the downspout (not inside it). I seriously doubt any rat ever climbed up inside the downspouts, the screening was not only unnecessary, it was a terrible idea as it guaranteed all debris washed into the downspout by rain would get caught. These guys should have known better. I paid them to turn one problem (rats) into another (roof leak). Beware.
Description of Work: He inspected the exterior of my home, including putting up a ladder and going around the entire perimeter, he went up on the roof and then came inside and went up into my attic. After finding the entry point, he repaired it.

Very prompt response when I called and very detailed in the cost and explanations and what they would do and how it would be done. Very kind to the animals removed, took the mother away first and took her to a rehab shelter for relocation. Then came back the next day to remove the 4 pups. After retrieving the 4 pups he took them back to where he dropped off the mother and reunited them. The Rehab center where he took them is watching them for a few days and will release them into the wild in Tarpon Springs area, we live in St. Petersburg.

Mike was doing work for my neighbor when I approached him for an estimate on my home. He was able to complete the job when he was done with my neighbor. I sincerely hope I don't need any critter removal in the future, but if I do, I'll give him a call.

I called All Pro Wildlife on Thursday (7/25/13) and spoke to Mike (owner) about their services. I have been renovating an upstairs apt and know that in a back room/office there have been squirrels or mice with tons of evidence on the dropped ceiling we removed. A previous company had come out a year ago, but the hole was visibly opened again. This other company just stuffed wire mesh in there, but did not secure it. Angel came out about 9am the next day, as promised, and showed me the many entry points that were accessed by rats and squirrels. On the back side of the building (2nd floor) he showed me the eave had been loose for a long time. He secured the loose eave, covered the other hole with flashing and put wire mesh over the pipe vents on the metal roof. Maneuvering this roof was a difficult task in itself, but he was successful. A few other spots in the back of the building were screened over and now I feel all entry points are secure. The 6 rat traps in the attic is an extra measure to make sure no rodents have been left inside. Angel will return Monday (7/29/13) to inspect the traps as well as one other time. It is so comforting to know that this rodent problem has been taken care of and I have All Pro Wildlife to thank for this! Thanks, Angel!!
Description of Work: Inspected around the whole building, closed up loose eave, flashing over rat hole, wire mesh over 5 roof vents, closed screened chase and set 8 rat traps in attic.

I spoke to the owner, Mike, on Friday morning about our rat problem, and he had techs out to our house the same afternoon. He was very pleasant on the phone and made a point of calling back when he said he would so I wasn't waiting around unnecessarily. The team who came to the house, Matt and CJ, arrived on time and were very professional and thorough. They did a great job repairing the rodent damage--my husband commented that it looked a lot nicer than what he had planned to do--and they were very clear when explaining what needed to be done and showing me the work after it was completed. The rat problem is in the process of being resolved--when Matt and CJ returned on Monday they removed one, and they will be coming back twice more to check the traps. The Tuesday following the service call I spoke with Mike again because I had forgotten to mention the 10% Angie's List discount at the time of service. Although he certainly didn't have to do so, since it was my error in forgetting, Mike agreed to honor the discount and issue me a refund for the discounted amount. Everyone I dealt with at All Pro Wildlife was unfailingly courteous, professional, and helpful, and I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing their services. Update: All told, four rats were removed from our property. When I spoke to Mike about moving up the last appointment because something had died in one of the traps, he got us on the schedule to get it taken care of, which was much appreciated.

Based on the other reviews, my experience seems to have been unusual. However, I read these reviews before selecting professionals to work on my home, so I thought I would share my experience. I paid $1300 for what was explained to me as "everything I needed to have done to seal the house, catch the rats, and clean it up." Three and half weeks later, I still had a rat running around in my house, and I was told that the clean up was not included in the fee I had already paid. They did catch and remove a number of rats - 6, I believe, plus one my dog caught and one that died in window sill after getting its foot caught in a trap, but they were inconsistent with visits and I feel as if they misrepresented what services I was being providedfor $1300. That is a lot of money, and I certainly could have set snap traps myself. I spoke to Mike last Saturday, was promised the outside sealing would be done on Monday, but I still have no confirmation that actually took place. I am disappointed in the services I received for the money I paid; and I am still dealing with all of the clean up and waiting for a partial refund for an "enzyme treatment" I never received. The rats are gone, but I am still dealing with things I understood I had paid All Pro to handle, and they seem to have little interest in remedying the problem
Description of Work: inspected the house, and set rat snap traps; inspected the house to seal it, which I paid for, although I still have no assurances or confirmation that it was completely sealed.

Response from ALL PRO WILDLIFE LLC
First and foremost let me thank you for taking the time to review my company. I am sorry that All Pro Wildlife did not exceed or meet your expectations. I am fully aware of a miscommunication between my technician and your parents in scheduling. I also understand that this job was not completed in the timeframe you expected nor completed to your satisfaction. In dealing with living, breathing animals these things can and often do happen. I also think it's only fair that you recognize that we refunded $600.00 dollars for the enzyme treatment that we only invoiced for $475. We completed all the repairs on the contract, including repairs not listed. We did trap for over 2 weeks and removed several rats as well as made additional trapping service calls at no additional cost. We agreed on a refund of $600.00 which was mailed from my office on July 11th 2013. Your contract was for $1285 and we refunded almost half of that contract back to you. I know per our conversation on Saturday July 6th, 2013 that you are not interested in us doing any more work for you and have made it very clear you will not refer us. The final cosmetic repair you requested was in fact completed on Monday July 8th as per our conversation. Again, I am sorry we could not meet your demands, I only wish you would have contacted me sooner in regards to your complaints or issues. I try to make every customer feel important and would have liked to do the same for you. Have a great day and please call my office if you need further assistance.

Very punctual and communicated with me regularly as to times of arrival, follow up after trap inspection, etc. Showed me where the squirrels were getting in, how to fix it and when they would return. The two employees who came to my home were extremely polite, well mannered and knowledgeable. Everything went well.
Description of Work: Came out and inspected my home to determine how the squirrels were getting into the garage. Covered all possible openings with either wire grating or sealant. Installed a one way trap to allow squirrels out but not back in. Came back two weeks later to ensure animals were gone, remove the trap and seal the opening left from the trap installation.

Their service is excellent. Some animal had been digging up one area of my yard. There were more holes being dug every day, so I checked Angie's List to see who to contact and after reading the reviews I decided to call All Pro Wildlife on the afternnoon of 4/1 and Mr. Spanola said that he would call later and let me know when they would be in my area. He called just as he said he would and a couple of his employees came out the very next day and set the traps and the following morning, there was a racoon in one of them. I called right away to let them know and Mr. Spanola came out to pick it up within a couple of hours. They were very courteous and efficient and I really appreciate the job they did.

We had squirrels in our attic so I called All Pro and they did a great job of explaining not only the typical process but also detailed the pricing. I had them come out for an estimate and Angel arrived promptly. He took his time to inspect the home and provided a firm price. The service required a revisit as one stubborn squirrel would not exit on his own so Angel set two traps in the attic and also return later that day to check the traps. I have been in the customer service business for over 20 years and I am extremely impressed with the level of professionalism, reliability and responsiveness for All Pro WIldlife. I would use them again without hesitation.

We had been seeing evidence of a rodent in the house- ripped and scattered pet food, droppings, noises at night. While looking for animal, it ran out of one room and into another. Quickly closed and barricaded the door and found All Pro Wildlife on Angie's list. Called and asked for someone to come and get rid of the animal. CJ and Matt came out the next day and went into the room where the rodent was trapped (so I thought). They removed the baseboard and the rodent was gone. They showed me a small opening in the corner that was access to the attic. CJ and Matt inspected the soffit on the outside of my house and repaired 2 openings where animals could get in. Showed me how they could climb a tall plant and go right into one of the holes. I immediately trimmed the plant while they were doing their repairs. They set traps in the attic and we set up a day for the next week so they could come and check the traps. They arrived on the day specified and found the rodent in one of the traps. They removed it. CJ and Matt were very informative and professional. They really knew their business.

I called Mike on Friday to find out what might be digging up holes in my yard. As a recently transplanted Northerner, this was new to me! Mike "diagnosed" the problem as an armadillo and proposed to send his crew out that afternoon to set traps. He quoted me a price that was comparable to others, and I went with him because of his professionalism and patience on the phone. Within hours, C.J. and Matt arrived and they explained exactly how they were determining where to set the traps and what I should expect. On Sunday morning, I found the armadillo in one trap and an opossum in the other! What most impressed me was that even though I called early on Sunday morning, Mike called me back promptly and indicated that the crew would be out that day to pick up the animals. I was worried about having the animals left in the cages, frightened and in need of food/water, but they did not have to wait. C.J. arrived shortly thereafter and took the critters to their safe place. I am completely impressed with the outstanding work of this team, from start to finish. They were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the animals. I would use them again immediately.
Description of Work: Mike's crew members, C.J. and Matt, set traps to catch an armadillo that was digging up my yard. Within 48 hours, the armadillo (and an opossum) were caught and taken to a protected area for wildlife.

My wife and I started hearing squirrel chirping and nesting sounds (scratching and scurrying) coming from our second story attic space. I reluctantly poked my head up in the attic space with a flashlight and confirmed that there was a squirrel running around the outside edge of the attic space (near the soffiting). I ended up finding All Pro WIldlife on Angie's list and gave the phone number a call. Mike, the owner, answered the phone and was extremely professional and passionate about his work. He listened to me explain my problem and indicated that a one-way exclusion door may be the best way to remedy the problem. The very next morning, Matt and CJ from All Pro Wildlife were at my door to help. They were both very friendly and professional in appearance. They began looking around the outside of the house and took note of a few key areas to address - the A/C chase and some eave gaps created by the stepped roof-line on the front of my house. They also looked in the first floor attic and second floor attic. In order to get to the second floor attic, Matt had to come in the house and go through my master bedroom. Matt was very respectful about wiping his feet at the front door and made sure not to make a mess. Matt ended up climbing around in the second floor attic and chasing a few squirrels out while CJ was on a ladder just outside in order to watch how the squirrels were getting in/out. After Matt and CJ were done inspecting my house they wrote up a reasonable quote for installation of the exclusion door and related repairs. All Pro Wildlife was back at my house two days later completing the necessary work in order to evict the squirrels. I did not even have to be home because all of the work that needed to be done was on the outside of the house. When I got home from work that day I was amazed when I saw a whole squirrel family (five total) sitting on the edge of the roof by the exclusion door, wondering why they couldn't get back in my house. After realizing that they had been permanently evicted, the squirrels jumped into the trees and eventually moved on. Mike personally called me a few days later in order to make sure that everything had gone as planned. I couldn't have been any happier. All Pro Wildlife came back out and removed the exclusion door and closed off the last eave gap. I would highly recommend this wonderful company and have already referred a close friend/co-worker.
Description of Work: Squirrel mitigation: Installed one-way exclusion door, repaired/sealed eave gaps and A/C chase, removed one-way exclusion door after 4-5 days
