Description of Work: Installed new Heat Pump, Air Handler, and Thermostat. Very professional and competent from start to finish. Removed old inefficient Trane system (that still worked fine after 21 years and replaced it with a high efficient 15.5 SEER Trane, model. Wanted to utilize a local contractor and the Roberts Team lived up to my expectations.

Description of Work: Replaced air handler and outside unit with 4 ton Trane. They were on time, very attentive to the system running properly and efficiently. The next day another person from their company came over and spent many more hours fine tuning and testing unit. Very professional company.

Description of Work: Honestly, this was my first Angie's List experience. I am always a little hesitant with people in the "service" business, assuming the worst. I found that Marrhew Roberts is a professional, in every way. They performed a complete and thorough inspection and found my AC to be working properly and did not try an up sell me. Bottom line, this is an honest business doing quality work for a fair price. I'd recommend them to anyone. Keep up the Good work

Description of Work: The evaporator was leaking, this is the forth evaporator that has failed in this Trane System. The Tech traced the problem, checked to see if it was till under warranty, and then went to pick one up and replaced it. The cost was for labor and freon that had to be replace. The tech, was good, he worked the whole time he was at the residence, and knew what he was doing.

 + -1 moreI called Matthew Roberts Inc. This was not an emergency since not during the hot season, but they set up an appointment within the next day or two. At the appointed time, they sent two young gentlemen out to take a look. The technicians were polite, thorough, and methodical in their approach to diagnosing the problem, checking one thing at a time in order. They found the problem, a cold start switch, and replaced it. Voila, I have A/C again. I was very pleased with their service and quality of work. I was also impressed by the methodical approach to finding and fixing the problem. They also were able to tell me that my system is overall in good shape, have enough freon, etc. That was good news, too.
Description of Work: My A/C stopped working and was not blowing any cool air. The told me there would be a diagnostic fee if I chose not to have the problem repaired, which was understandable and agreeable. They told me the amount up front. There would be no fee if I had a repair done. We set up and appointment and they arrived on time and found and fixed the problem.

When something went out on the unit they came and out repaired it free of charge and the warranty had already gone up on it so I really appreciated them doing that for me. I have been real happy with them, and would recommend them.
Description of Work: They do the annual service on my 2.5 ton air conditioner unit, and they had to come and do a repair because something went bad on the unit.

Description of Work: They did some repair work on my air conditioning unit. The problem with the air conditioner unit was it had a leak. The size of my house is around 2000 square feet.

 + -1 moreAC went out while I was on vacation and adult son met repairman who gave recommendation and fixed system for temporary use. When I returned, owner insisted we have another diagnosis (which turned out to be identical). The system was working fine when the worker came for the second diagnosis. He failed to turn the system back on before he left and when I realized it and turned it on, it did not work. The owner gave me an excuse but would not accept blame that worker had goofed. I was charged for two service calls at 135 each, and I do not believe the 2nd was necessary. Owner finally agreed to remove half of one charge on final bill; however, I have no way of knowing that happened.
