We were having a plumbing issue and we found him on Angie's list. We called and he spoke with us over the phone and was able to tell us what the problem was so that we could relay the information to our landlord. Was super professional and would use him if the landlord approves for work to be done.
Description of Work: Had some plumbing problems going on in our rental house.

We moved into our house a few months ago, and the garbage disposal had never been functional. This wasn't a problem until it started backing up and smelling foul. I contacted a few plumbers I found on Angie's List, and Jeff's Kitchen, Bath, and Beyond had the best communication and the best price. The plumber who Jeff's sent to us, Bobby, was prompt and friendly. He replaced the disposal quickly and the problem was solved!
Description of Work: We had an old, non-functional garbage disposal removed and a new one (supplied by Jeff's) installed.

We were very pleased with the plumbing service. The guys were prompt, professional, and hard working. The only problem we had with the entire process was the drywall company they contract with left a mess on my children's toys. This was not the same company as the plumbing company but they were contracted through them.
Description of Work: We had all our plumbing replaced as we had outdated polybutelene plumbing.

After a weekend out at a friends wedding with our parents house sitting our dogs, when we got back we noticed the mat in by our kitchen sink was soaked. It didn't take long to realize that the cabinet under the sink was filled with water and the water was leaking out of the garbage disposal. I called around to a number of companies we found on the list. On of the companies I left a message with was Jeff's KB&B. In about 15 min or so, when I was btwn calls with other plumbers, I got a call back from Jeff himself. I explained the situation and was happy to learn that garbage disposal replacements are a flat fee with Jeff's KB&B. It seemed half the companies I called charged by the hour with service fees just to come look at the problem. Jeff's KB&B was in the other half, that flat fee for garbage disposal replacement and the rate was fair and competitive. Jeff even suggested that I might be able to save some more money or upgrade my disposal if I wanted by checking prices at the hardware stores near by. I checked around and found a deal (for a 1/2 HP disposal, the old broken one was only a 1/3 HP) and, with Jeff's fee for installing one I bought elsewhere, I saved some money. Jeff had one of his guys out to my house later that day to install. The guy that came out was incredibly nice (was his name Troy? If that wasn't his name that was the name of the waiter at the wedding reception and that's a different story and I'm sorry to the plumber that came out for the install as he was awesome). The install took a very short time (maybe 30 min), and during it I mentioned a problem with a shower faucet in our guest room (no hot water). He took a look at it, diagnosed the problem and said to fix it (parts and labor) would only be a small fee, the same as the garbage disposal. So I went ahead with it. 2 services, each under $100 flat fee, taking just over an hour.... We are very pleased. we hope to never have to call Jeff again, but are happy to at least have a good name to call for any future plumbing problems.
Description of Work: Installed a Garbage Disposal (which i bought seperately) & fixed a broken temperature valve in a shower.

The first two attempts to complete the work were aborted because of the plumber's time management issues. Jobs that had been scheduled before mine took far longer than estimated, forcing my job far too late to make sense. In addition, the communication around this issue was not great. On the third attempt, the plumber arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m., but I was dismayed that the job was not completed until 3:00 p.m. He had to leave a couple of times during the job because he'd forgotten to bring something. Meanwhile, I was forced to take business meetings at home, which was neither expected nor optimal. I believe the quality of work was very good. Also, the plumber was apologetic about the way the job was progressing, but there were some aspects of professionalism that would need to be improved were I to use this vendor again. When I asked whether the job necessitated cutting a hole behind the faucet area into the closet, I was told no. I'd offered to remove the clothing etc., but was glad it was not necessary. However, later, when I checked on the progress, I found that the plumber had not only cut the hole in the wall, but had also removed my clothing from the closet and moved it to the bed. I understood that it needed to be done, but I certainly wish he'd have told me.
Description of Work: I purchased a half-price Angie's List deal to repair a dripping faucet in the bathtub and to try a new plumber.

Hello Member, I am sorry your appointment had to be rescheduled twice. We do not like to have to do that but in the service industry sometimes things don't go as planned and we don't know when jobs are going to turn out to be more than we expect them to be. I always try to give our techs enough time to do there jobs thoroughly. we carry as many parts on our trucks as they will hold but some times we do have to run out and pick up a part, We can't carry everything as much as I would like to. Your install was a bit challenging and took a long time to finish and would have cost far more than $200 if you were'nt a Angies List member. I'm sorry your experance was not a great one. If there's anything we can do to make things right with you feel free to call me "Jeff Wines" 407-968-1801 Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Jeff Wines "Owner"

I have 28 years in the construction industry as a Construction Manager, so I'm familiar with how subcontractors function, and the potential pitfalls. My installer was sensitive to the existing conditions, and was clear about how long he would be. He actually fininshed ahead of time. Was careful not to make too big of a mess, and did a thorough job cleaning-up. I would definitely use them for other plumbing work.

I called Jeff's Kitchen Bath & Beyond at 8:00 a.m. and spoke to a friendly, polite individual. I inquired as to their $480 water heater with installation special available to Angie's List members. The special was for a 40 gallon tank, so I inquired how much it would be for a 50 gallon tank. I was told it would be $45 more. I found that reasonable and decided to take advantage of the offer. I was told that the plumber would be arriving between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. Bobby (plumber) arrived at 9:20. He was very friendly and explained what he was going to do. He installed the new water heater, and while doing so noticed a very faint noise coming from the behind the water heater. Bobby cut a small hole in the wall and found a very tiny leak in a pipe. He fixed the damaged pipe and charged me $10 additional for the service. I found that to be EXTREMELY reasonable. Overall I am very happy with the service provided, and plan on recommending Jeff's Bath & Beyond to friends and relatives in the future.

I found Jeff's Plumbing by google and he had a you tube video about his services for replumbing a house and it was exactly what I was looking for, he sent Bobby out to estimate the job and the price was very reasonable, they came ontime of the day of the job and did an excelelnt job on a difficult house to work through and they cleaned up nicely after themselves. They even set up the drywall repair which was so appreciated. WELL DONE!! I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing job you have from the smallest to the largest. Description of Work: 3 bedroom 2 bath home needed repiped because we had polybutylene plumbing in our slab home built in 1993. Jeff's company sent 3 very professional, knowledgeable plumbers to my home on the day we agreed and they worked non stop disconnecting the pipe from the meter to the house and repipeing the plumbing into the attic and into the walls at the hot water heater, the washer, two bathrooms and kitchen.

I called Jeff this morning around 10:00AM and described the problem I was having. He said he could have a technician on-site by noon. I gave Jeff my contact info, and got a call from Paul, the technician, within 20 minutes. He said he would be at my place by noon, and sure enough he called me again at 10 minutes till noon. He was in my condo complex, and he was at my door five minutes later. I showed Paul the affected area, and he could tell right away there was some sort of leak. He went to get tools and materials from his truck, and was back moments later. He had to cut a hole through the dry wall to get at the problem pipe section, but sure enough there was a pin-hole in a copper pipe joint coming from the main supply. Unfortunately, he had no luck locating a shutoff valve before the hole, nor could he locate the building supply shutoff. So, he put a temporary band over the hole, and the leak is now stopped. I still have to get a hold of the condo board to take care of the issue permanently, but at least the water is stopped now. Paul was an absolute pleasure to deal with, he explained everything he was doing, and the next steps I would need to take to address the problem permanently. Jeff, you should definitely keep Paul around. He knows what he's doing, and it shows.
Description of Work: Water was dripping from the cold supply pipe above hot water heater, underneath a/c, but appeared to be coming from somewhere else other than the a/c. The supply pipe had a pin-hole leak in it. The pipe now has a band clamped around it, stopping the leak. A more permanent solution will have to be applied soon.

Jeff's KB & B replaced my leaking water heater today. I caled at 9:00am and Jeff said he would have a person there between 12:00 and 2:00. The installer was here a little after 1:00, and he replaced the old one and was done in a couple of hours. He was very polite and professional. I definitely will use them again.

Right after we moved into an older house (built in 1960) we noticed that the toilets would not flush right and the laundry water was backing up as well. After another plumbing company came twice and was unable to fix the problem, I contacted Jeff's Kitchen Bath & Beyond. I spoke with Jeff, the owner had someone come out right away to snake a camera up the sewer to see what was causing the problem. However, the cleanout had been buried somewhere and I did not know where to find it. He worked in the pouring rain to find the cleanout and discovered that tree roots had invaded the sewer pipe under our kitchen floor! Jeff's plumber had the drain pipe repaired within a day, and the fast drying concrete enabled my handyman to place new tiles on the floor the very next day. Jeff and his plumbers were great in every way--professional, efficient, and courteous. Jeff's prices were very reasonable, and his quotes were much less than the other companies I contacted. I am also happy that every time I called, either Jeff the owner or one of his helpful staff answered the phone. This was the first time I used Angie's List and I am glad that I did.

Since I am also having to replace my roof very soon as well, I decided that joining Angie's List would be a prudent idea. I searched for only the top rated "cream of the crop" based on Angie's ratings. I was pleased to find Jeff's listed in the top 5 since he had actually been recommended to me by another plumber initially for my re-pipe. However, I also got 3 other quotes from among the top 5 at that time. All of the other quotes came in at within $50.00 of each other, but were all $400.00 higher than Jeff's. I felt like all of them would do a fine job for me and the choice boiled down to where price seemed to be the only real difference. Jeff's was the first quote I obtained. Bobbie (estimator) was very helpful by explaining all of the steps and specifics of what would be done and exactly how it would be done. I explained to him that I wanted to know as much as possible regarding the work to be done and the options that were available where options existed so I could hopefully make an informed decision. He took the time to answer all of my questions. Realizing that with each quote I obtained more information that I did not have when I got Jeff's quote, I called Jeff and asked if I could get some more answers and he sent Bryan, who would be the foreman on my job, out on a Saturday to see me. Bryan also took his time - on his day off - to answer my additional questions and go over in detail the specifics of what and how each area would be done since other companies had differing ways of where they could cut into the walls leaving me to have to repaint after their plaster crew had patched everything back up. When asked he offered his opinion of how he recommended the work be done in specific areas based on my questions as to how others had said they would do it where differences existed. While a couple of things we agreed on would result in it NOT being completely unnoticeable that a re-pipe had been done once complete, I was not at all concerned about those differences and considered them to explain some of the price difference between Jeff's quote and all of the others. Bryan was more than willing to do things whatever way I wanted it done from the various options - with no change in the quote! Once a date was set the workmen arrived on time and begin work immediately. The 3 man crew started at 8:30 am and was done at 4:00 pm after having pressure tested the lines. Our water was back on the same day! I had also had them install a new electric hot water heater since my old one was about 15 years old as part of the quote and Bryan added some zone shut-offs in a couple of locations in the attic per my request. I was constantly looking in on the progress of the work and was very satisfied at every point that what was being done was exactly what I was had been told to expect - absolutely no surprises at all in the finished job - which was my intention from the beginning. Even the county inspector commented that he always found Jeff's work to be well done and correct. I would highly recommend Jeff's Kitchen Bath & Beyond to anyone needing a complete re-pipe - as well as any other plumbing needs They were very professional all the way and I am completely satisfied with the work done - and love the savings between their quote and all of the others.
Description of Work: Total re-pipe needed due to third leak under slab of 4/2 home concrete block home of 2100 sq. ft. After previously having two leaks repaired to the copper pipe under the slab, when the third one occurred it was time to have it redone.

I called Jeff to come out assess a slow wall leak. The leak is in an outside wall with concrete block/stucco on one side and my tiled shower on the other. It could be in the wall or slab. He sent Bobby who spent about 30 minutes troubleshooting, poking around behind the wall plate in my shower and checking the water meter. Since he couldn't pinpoint the source of the leak he advised me to call Leak Doctor and didn't charge me anything for the visit. I appreciate that they didn't want to just start tearing up my shower without finding the leak first. I would definitely use them again.

I think it was mostly a comedy of errors and miscommunication. I think we were both unclear or uninformed about everything from arrival time to the fact that I was an Angie's customer. However, once everything was straightened out, it all went very well. Owner ans Master Plumber, Jeff Wines could not have been more helpful and professional at all levels. He was kind, courteous, patient, and helpful. He made it all good. His staff was attentive and knowledgeable, and the final result was a very positive experince. I will call him for any future plumbing needs and know he will respond with promptness and care.

The plummer was very nice, but I should have been quoted the price in the beginning of the call when asked. The plummer said he said to "Call Jeff" and went out to his van. He was out there for 10 minutes, and being I have big dogs, and was on a time limit myself I went out to his van to pay. The plummer says, "Oh I haven't made the call yet, I was making personal calls. Let me call Jeff right now." Then shuts the door. He writes up the invoice and says...The call will be $60 today. What? For 15 minutes of work??? REALLY? I paid it but it will be the last time they come to do work at my house. For the record, I DID ask multiple times what the price would be. AND he took my broken faucet only to tell me he will use it to sell for scrap! NICE!
Description of Work: I had a leaky faucet in the kitchen that was under warranty by Moen. The tech came out the first time, called Moen to find out if it was under warranty. It was and the part was sent to my house 2 weeks later. For the record, the plummer did not charge me for the first visit but I did tip him cash. The plummer replaced the faucet in 15 minutes.

Well I'm sorry to see you were not pleased with our service. We strive for perfection, That being said. We came to your house the first time free of charge as you mentioned to check out your problem, We got your parts from Moen also free of charge. We then installed your new parts that we got for you under Moens lifetime warranty program and the only thing you were charged for was the install of the parts. I'm not sure why Bobby didn't give you the price when you asked other than he wasn't sure what the price should be as he had made 2 trips to your home. "We only charged our company minimum $60.00" You could've kept our old faucet if you wanted it, But to a home owner they usually go in the trash for us we save the "scrap" all year and that's how we give our employees a Christmas bouns. In tough economic times we still want to be able to give back to our employees, They work very hard and earn it. I'm sorry you were not pleased with our service. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feed back. Jeff Wines, persident Jeff's Kitchen Bath & Beyond INC
