We know that choosing the right plumber in Orlando to come to your home to perform repairs is not a decision customers take lightly. We thank you for giving us the chance to earn your business and once you learn a little more about us we have no doubt you'll put your trust in us as so many others have.
Our services cover any need you may have no matter how big or small your job is. We offer a range of plumbing services such as general plumbing services and we specialize in re-piping.
It was a very difficult job with little space to work with in the wall. In addition, the valve feeds two shower heads and required extra pipe replacement. To top it off, one of the shower arm supports in the wall cracked and part of the job had to be redone. All in all, while I have done a lot of DIY plumbing in my life, it was a very wise decision to leave this job to a PRO! Top notch service from a top notch firm. I called on a Monday morning to set an appointment for the following Thursday (today) and Ed showed up right on time!
Description of Work: The firm's plumbing technician (Ed) installed a new Moen shower valve (which I provided).

Since Jeff's KB&B did a good job on our whole house re-pipe (5 star rating) we wanted them to install the new shower pan in the master bath. We had a leak in the floor of the original shower so we had to rip everything out and repair the water damage before rebuilding the new shower stall. When we were ready for the shower pan Jeff quoted a price of $200 if we supplied the shower liner and drain, which we did. Two of his guys showed up at the agreed upon time and within 30 mins they said they were done. The problem is the liner was applied directly to the subfloor leaving it about 1/4" below the drain level. After watching several install videos including one from the manufacturer this was putting us back in the position of having drainage issues since the liner is lower than the weep holes. I then called the manufacturer to verify the proper technique for installation. According to them the floor should have been raised so that the liner was at least the same height as the weep holes in order for the water to work it's way back to the drain and a water test should have been done to ensure the liner wouldn't leak, which wasn't done either. I could have done what they did and saved myself $200. Sorry guys but you dropped the ball on this one.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm not happy to hear a service tech did not do his job correctly. I do wish you would have contacted me so I could have fixed this issue. I'm not sure why he would have left your job in such a manner as what you stated, But I would have loved the opportunity to make it right and this is the first I'm hearing of this issue. I'd be happy to send someone back over and correct this issue if you would agree to that. Please feel free to contact me at 407-968-1801 to discuss this further. Thank you, Jeff Wines

Service was ok but expensive
Description of Work: Service was prompt. Jeff told me someone will be at the house around 3:00 pm the day that I called and he came exactly at that time. The quote was $100 and that's what I paid. I had other issues with water pressure and guy was patient enough to check them at no charge. Overall a good experience although expensive.

Found "Jeff's Kitchen and Bath" in Angie's list. I decided to go with Jeff's because of the 152 "A" recommendations and 4 straight years of Super Service Awards. The representative arrived as scheduled. Upon reviewing the scope of work, I was given an estimate (including the Angie's List discount). The estimate seemed fair and I approved the job. The plumber acquired the parts and completed the job within a few hours. I was very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work.

Jeff and his team re-piped our 2,500 ft2 home with Super PEX in one day, the copper piping from 1986 needed to be replaced before a pipe burst. Very pleased with the professionalism and attention to detail by the team. All shut offs and bibs were replaced with nice 1/4 turn brass fixtures. New valves were installed as well as necessary hardware. All building materials were high quality and will last. Coordinated with my remodeling of the master bath to ensure all fixtures were in proper location. All areas were clean and tidy when they left. Jeff set up drywall contractor to patch holes in walls after job was complected. Highly recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm not sure why you did not include our whole text conversation as you left out my final response. And here's my final text 8:45pm "Jeffs kitchen bath & beyond, Great. I'm happy they could help out. I'm fully booked until after 1:00 tomorrow. There a great company and will do a good job for you" I'm not sure why you chose to leave that out? I took my family's time on a national holiday to try and make sure you 1, did not need a plumber right then. If you did we would've sent one 2, your home was not flooding. 3, if we could work you into our schedule. You see we're a smaller company and we were fully booked for Tuesday morning 9-3-13 at the end of last week. I'm glad you found someone able to meet your needs. My peers and I all charge over time outside of our normal business hours. As do most AC company's, Electricians, and most other service providers. We all have normal business hours just like I'm sure the business your in does. Thank you, Jeff Wines

They did a great job with installing my toliet. I was not happy with the seat that was on the new toliet so I called them back and they came back to switch that out. They had initially charged me $70 for the re-visit but it only took them a few minutues to change the seat. I was willing to pay half of the charge but the gentlemen called Jeff, the owner, he was instructed to give me back the entire amount of $70 and there was no charge for the second visit.

Called Jeff this morning he had Marshall out by 1PM as promised and job done by 2PM. Excellent service. Improved connection to RO system which was leaking and added shut off valve to RO at no extra cost. We had work in the front yard with mud everywhere especially on the front sidewalk coming into the house. Marshall was careful not to track the mud into our house. Marshall finished and cleaned up after without a trace. Very professional, polite, considerate, trustworthy. Couldn't beat the price or the service. Will definitely call Jeff in the future should we need plumbing service.

Joe's guys showed up Friday and started work. There were two of them, one started digging the trench to remove the old broken pipe and lay the new one. The other guy started replacing the plumbing stop valves. Things look like good in the beginning. Then I noticed the guy replacing the valves would replace two valves and then come out for a break, this was his pattern the whole day. Since the job was priced out at parts plus hourly time, I could see this guy making the job take all day. Joe had to leave out of town and could not be reached. The guy digging the trench was running into problems with the roots in the area. Joe had mentioned the roots in his inital visit but did not seem to be concerned about having to dig through them. The guy digging the trench by 4:00pm did not have very much more dug out than he had accomplished by the afternoon. He was telling me that the roots were too congested to cut through, Joe should have known better than price this job out so cheap. Sure enough the other guy did take the day to do the valves under the sink. End of day the trench was not dug and I was thinking the time cost on the valves was going to run several hundred dollars. Joe's comment about his men before he left, "you can trust these guys they are good workers and will get the job done". So that we would not be without water that weekend they took and tied the water meter to the house through a hose. Final thought at end of day was they were going to have to get a trench digger to get though the roots. I cautioned them the needed to call the utilities departments to come and mark all the utilities before they started to dig, Monday morning. They told me that they would find the trench digger but I would have to pay for it. About $200.00 for a couple of hours. So they left, come Monday no one showed. Tuesday, no one showed. Wednesday no one showed, and no utilities company had come out to mark the property. I called the business number since Joe was unreachable. The individual that answered seemed concerned about the events that I related. I mentioned near the end that if they were going to ever show up to finish the job they still needed the utilities to be marked as they had not been as of yet. No one ever showed up. I tried to reach Joe Sunday or Monday hoping he was finally home. He was and seemed upset that the job had been handled so poorly. He came out looked over the job and got mad that so little had been done. He said he would be back later or the next day. We had to go somewhere but when we got home it looked like the job had been finished. I looked over where the trench was dug. It had been filled in and resodded. I remembered where the roots were and moved the sod aside and dug down about 1/2" and there was my water pipe. I called Joe and he assured me that the water pipe did come up near the surface but at the highest point, it was still 3" down. We settled on a price and Joe did not care for it but we parted company. He did leave me a nice parting gift to let me know how he felt, I came home one afternoon and one of the final fixes was a hose bibb on the back of the house, he accessed the hose bibb from inside the house by cutting 2 4" x 6" pieces of drywall out in our living room wall and then put the drywall back in the holes and left. Yes you could easily see it. We never heard from Joe again. I don't think he was happy. I know with my pvc water pipe about 1/2" below the sod I've not been real happy either.
Description of Work: It started out we needed the water line from the water meter to the house replaced. We found that since the property had been vacant for 5 years, this meant more problems than we knew at the time. Joe came and gave us a fair price and said his guys would be back Friday to start replacing the new pipe. I had also noticed at that time that several of the stop valves under the sinks were leaking, and I asked him at that time what would it cost to have them all replaced. Again he priced what I thought was a good deal.

Response from Jeff's Kitchen Bath & Beyond
Hello Member, Thank you for taking your time to post a review of your experience. My name is Jeff Wines and I'm the one your husband dealt with the whole time. I'm sorry that you were not satisfied with our services. The job was a bit of a nightmare and for that I'm truly sorry. It just so happened that when you finally closed on your home I had a vacation that had been booked for months during that same time and I was committed to and could not get a refund for. My Plumbers ran into a much bigger issue with the roots than expected. We didn't realize the roots would be as think as they were. My plumber worked a very long hard day to try and get through them to run your new water main. As far as the stops in the home, You were charged less than my normal cost of replacing 4 stops to replace all 12 of the stops in your home. I gave you a major discount on the price as we were doing the other work for you. When I got home and found out about the issues that had happened on your job I was not happy with the way things had been handled. I talked to a few company's to run a trencher to cut through the roots and I was told being that in the exact area we needed to work that the electrical lines, gas lines, fiber optic cable lines, the trenching company would not take the responsibility if any of those were cut. I decided the only way to finish the job was to hand dig it. I personally came back the same afternoon with one of my plumbers and worked well past dark to finish the water main. The only area it wasn't as deep as I would have liked was right beside the 65' tall pine tree in your front yard but it was still under grade. I had recommended we run the line in a "sleve" pipe to protect it from the roots but that idea was shot down by the home owner. As the job was going on the home owner asked us to replace the hose bibs on the house and we did need to cut a hole in the drywall to do this part of the job. The old wood siding made it to dangerous to try and solider the old bib off like we would on a block home so a hole was needed. I thought the home owner was aware of this as we cut it in a open place and told them we had to do that. When the job was completed I talked with the husband who had been my point of contact during the whole project and we discussed everything that had happened. The charge was the same as we quoted for all work we completed and I did not know that the homeowner had any other issues they needed to address with me. I'm always available for my customers to deal with any issues that my arise. "I just happened to be out of town at start of this job but I was here for the finish" If there's anything I can do for you please feel free to call me @ 407-968-1801 Thank you, Jeff Wines

We woke up at 6:00 am to find our water heater (in the attic) pouring out water which caused the ceiling in our bathroom to collapse. After turning off the water and calling our insurance, we scoured Angie's List and found Jeff's. We called them about 7:00 am and it went straight to voicemail. Their message said if this was an emergency someone would get back with us within 15 minutes. Within 15 mintues someone called us. They talked to my husband, and he told them what had happened. They told him someone would be out between 10:00-12:00 that day. Jeff's also gave us different cost estimates based on what they might have to do - and told us if they had to install a new water heater it would be $675. Marshall showed up right around 10:00. He was kind, very informative and professional. The bill came to $675. We were very impressed with their fast response, the work he performed and that the estimate they told us over the phone was indeed what we were actually charged. We would definitely reccomend them and hire them again. Thank you Jeff's Kitchen Bath and Beyond!
Description of Work: Installed a new water heater for us up in our attic after figuring out what caused our old one to break.
