DELINTZ DRYER VENT CLEANING

Been meaning to get the dryer lint cleaned out for some time and finally got around to it. The technician arrived right on time and immediately went to work. He started by cleaning out all the lint in the dryer, then proceeded to clean out the hose, duct, and vent hood on the roof (uses a ladder to get up on the roof and manually cleans out the vent hood). He uses high air pressure and a vacuum so its quite noisy but very effective. The dryer is working much better now since there was a large amount of lint build up over the years. Very happy with the service.

Dryer vent was obviously clogged. The DELINTZ service tech (Tracey) set to work unclogging it, but found the line to be jammed in a way that could not be cleaned using his equipment. He speculated that our vent had become disconnected at a 90-degree turn where the wall met the ceiling in our garage. This problem would require removing drywall, repairing the vent, and patching the drywall. DELINTZ does not do this type of work. However, the service tech described the required repair to me. I contacted a handyman who cut into the drywall and discovered the problem to be exactly as described by the DELINTZ service tech. The handyman repaired the problem, and our dryer vents work perfectly now. Although DELINTZ could not complete this job, the expertise of the service tech in diagnosing the problem helped us immeasurably. I strongly recommend this company.

We had a problem with our dryer vent exhaust. Steve visited our home, took stock of the situation and determined that the dryer vent did not need cleaning. He came out twice, was very methodical in his troubleshooting and helped us resolve the problem, which turned out to be the vent top, which he repaired at no charge. His attentiveness to detail, knowledge and demeanor made me a customer for life. I've already referred others to him for vent cleaning services.

The motor on our dryer burned out and the service tech recommended Delintz. I called on Friday, 9/11 and they were able to work around my schedule and serviced our dyer vent on 9/14. Tracy was prompt, professional and fast.

Everthing went very well. Steve was prompt. I live in a gated community, in a condo, on the second floor. He knew the area, had performed work here in the past, so I did not have to give him exact direction. When I was concerned because it was a second floor, and he had to have access to the roof, he said it was not a problem as he comes equipped with a ladder.

Overall a very thorough job was performed in 25 minutes. However the $80.00 charge seemed a little high for 25 minutes of work.

In my previous house, I would have Steve come out once a year to clean out the dryer vent. When I moved into my new house, I called him immediately because the clothes weren't drying properly. He said the previous owner probably never cleaned it out because it was almost clogged, certainly a fire hazard. He recommended that I have the vent cleaned out every two years because the vent is shorter than my previous house. He could have told me to have it cleaned yearly so he could make more money, and I wouldn't have known the difference. But he was very honest and said to call him back in two years.

They do a very professional job. Everything is very clean. He is great. The owner always comes to our house himself. We always deal directly with the owner.

He arrived at the scheduled time and performed the work necessary. He even went into my attic to check the vent for me because it didn't vent through the roof.

They were cheaper then another service provider that I compared them with. He was on time cleaned up after he finished the job. The job was a little bit more challenging then he thought when he arrived, but charged the same price. He also made a suggestion to have it completed every year.

We noticed that our dryer was not drying clothes as fast as it used to. We contacted Sears and they sent a serviceman out to run a diagnostic check. The serviceman told us the dryer checked out fine and that it appeared the dryer exhaust vent leading to the roof was clogged with lint. I immediately went to Angie's List to get the name of a company that could clean it out. The first company I read about was Delintz Dryer Vent Cleaning Service, based in Casselberry. I called on Dec. 22 and left a message. Within 2 hours I had a return call from Steve who told me he could come out on the morning of Dec. 26 to do the work.

Steve returned my call and it took a couple times to find a time that worked for both of us. When he arrived he had an assistant. He explained to me what they were going to do. He performed the work, had already told me what it would cost. Explained to me why I needed his services and what he found. Then he said he would call back in a year, as the cleaning should be performed annually. He was polite, nice, informative, helpful.

Arrived within 5 minutes of the time quoted a week earlier. Did not waste any time hauling a huge vacuum in, cranking up the air compressor and getting to work. Entire operation was less than a half hour. He quoted the price over the phone and gave me a discount (which I had not asked for) because I have several properties that he will be cleaning in the future.

Steve arrived on time and immediately started by checking the roof outlet. He then removed all the lint that had built up in the vent completely clearing it. Before we called him, we thought that we might need a new dryer as it was taking a very long time for clothes to dry. We did do a wash after he left and determined that the drying time was cut in half. When he left, he explained what was done and that he would be sending reminders annually. In our case, he felt that if we cleaned the duct within 3 years, it would be fine. He cleaned everything up before he left and was friendly and polite the entire time.

It went great. Steve got the job done quickly and cleanly. He was friendly and prompt. Most importantly, he got my dryer working again, when I was told by another repairman that it had a broken part. Turns out, it wasn't broken after all, only I wouldn't have known that if Steve hadn't pointed it out and explained what happened.

This company did a great job cleaning the dryer vent. This vent had a lot of lint accumulated from over the years. I am satisfied with the work they did and I highly recommend them.

Our dryer has been making loud noises that I think is the belt, but I also wanted to make sure the vent wasn't so clogged that the dryer was malfunctioning because of that. We were told the vent wasn't too bad, so now it's off to get the belt looked at! Delintz came out on time and were easy to make an appointment with. They cleaned up after themselves too.

Did a thorough and quick lint removal from my clothes dryer system and extra heavy load of damp clothes are now dried within 40-45 minutes.

MY WIFE WAS VERY HAPPY. THERE IS NO DUST, AND THAT MAKES HER HAPPY. WE GOT THEIR NUMBER FROM A FRIEND OF OURS, AND THEY WERE OUT HERE THE VERY NEXT DAY.

He came by appointment and was very nice. He gave me many choices of times for my convenience. The dryer vent worked after he left. He says you should have it done every year and I didn't know that would cause the clothes not to dry.
