I call these folks three times, talked to a female whom was kind enough to give me a quote over the phone on Tuesday. I had several questions she couldn't answer about having some foam work done with the blown in insulation. She took my information said someone would call me in the afternoon the same day. I called back on Wednesday afternoon after receiving no phone calls or voice-mails from this company. She didn't remember me and seemed to busy to deal with me, she gave me a guys cell phone number, I left voice-mails. Its still Wednesday at 7pm and still no word, seems they don't need new customers.

I called the owner and he sent someone out to finish the work and also fix my ceiling. I was happy once the work was done and my attic was fixed.

I called and was given a quote over the phone. Two days later two men and a truck showed up right on time. The job was finished within an hour. No fuss or problems. Both employees were very professional and made sure I approved the job before they closed up the attic space. I would use them again and would recommend them highly.

I could not be more impressed with the service I received from Brant and Son. Tim Brant worked with me extremely well while I made the decision on whether to go with cellulose or fiberglass. Tim worked with me to get the special cellulose insulation I decided on; and he got me a better price than I could find. Gary and Frank, the installers, arrived at my house Friday and did nothing short of a fantastic job on a 90+ degree, humid day. We discovered some bad wiring in the attic and they patiently waited while I repaired it; with never a harsh word or attitude. They also helped spray foam that I provided in several places in the attic to help with cellulose dust seepage into the house. And they checked all my baffles and installed several where missing prior to blowing anything in. They did a fantastic job with the actual installation as well --- blowing off the top of the ductwork as I had been advised by Florida Solar Energy scientist not to bury the ductwork entirely (condensation potential). I am extremely picky about what goes into my house and every detail of how it goes in and Brant and Son exceeded my expectations. Hire them!

Brant & Son provided a quick estimate and coordinated a price that included the federal rebate already included. The quote was very reasonable and the work was performed on schedule. It took a little while to get a receipt but overall this was a good experience and I would definitely use them again in the future.

My overall experience was great. Fast service as well. The office staff was fantastic from my first call to the every end. Both the sale person and installers were very professional. They also help me understand the Progress Energy Rebate program. I highly recommend them.

The work went fast and well, it only took them about 15 minutes to complete the job. Went much faster and easier than I thought it would be. I haven't gone into my attic to inspect the coverage but my HVAC unit does seem to run more effectively now, so I can tell the insulation is doing it's job quite well, seeing how I had none up there before. Two guys, one truck show up after you get your estimate from the office, they just show up and start working, no payment necessary at the time of work, I got billed a week later and paid. Very easy to work with and I am glad I went with them versus the competition.

The installers were a bit late, but the company called me to inform me approximately when they would arrive. The installers were very professional, blew in the installation in approximately 45 minutes. The work area was clean when they left. The lead installer didn't want to enter the house to recieve the payment - it was accomplished in the garage.

The sales representative came right out the next day and arrived right on-time. He was very personable. He did mention that Progress Energy would provide a $100 rebate. He did not provide a written estimate and there were no follow-up phone calls. They did not seem very professional in their approach to the sale which made me uncertain as to their follow-through on ther insuation installation even though they have high ratings in Angie's List. I choose Florida Home Energy Savers because they did provide written quotes, did follow-up and offered to fill out the Progress Energy rebate form, submit it for me and deduct it from the bill.

Very quick turnaround from contact to inspection to install. Suggested installing polyvents first for airflow due to attic slope. Polyvents were installed the first day and the following day they blew-in the insulation.

I started by calling several contractors on Angie's List and chose Brandt & Son over 3 other companies for a couple reasons. One reason is that I was unable to get most of them to return my call in a timely manner (or at all) to give me an estimate. Another reason is lack of customer service (good old fashioned friendly/courteous phone etiquette) in willing to assist helping decide what my needs were. Andrew at Brant and Son was very courteous and even let me know to contact the energy company first to be able to get a break from using a approved provider. I did call the energy company and they immediately faxed over my info and had well over $110 in savings that was taken right off of my bill, no waiting for reimbursement from them. Only one slight issue came up upon installation. The installers were under the direction that I wanted R19 instead of R30, but with one quick call it was immediately resolved.

Work not completed because they didn't return my phone message.

They showed up right on time (8 am). Got right to work and finished the job in about 30 minutes. No mess, no fuss. Now I wonder why I waited so long to add insulation! Calling Progress Energy (tip learned by reading Angie's List reviews) was the right move. Progress Energy paid $136 toward my job. All around pleasant experience. Good phone experience getting job set up, good follow through (call day before), showing up on time, bill pre-set showing Progress Energy payment, called office with credit card for payment.

They performed above expectations in all areas.

Really great initial contact. Estimate was quoted and then they even referred me to local electric company so I could get rebate! Installers were on time, clean and quick. Price was very competitive. Great Job!

Another part of the company installs the rolled insulation and after repeated calls and messages for Ilean who never returned my calls I gave up. When I finally did get to talk to him I could tell he did not want to do the job. Perhaps it was too small. I would have to give two reports to this company. One side was very responsive and gets an A and the other an F. It was like dealing with two different companies. to grade I would have to split the difference I guess.

They were on time, polite, and reasonable.

QUICK AND RESPONSIVE - THEY INSTALLED THE INSULATION SHORTLY AFTER WE REQUESTED THE WORK TO BE DONE. THEY ALSO REMOVED THE OLD INSULATION SO, AS TO NOT HAVE MATTED AND WET INSULATION IN OUR ATTIC.
