Purchased home in Sept 2011 and had an inspection done prior to escrow. HVAC units were checked and found to be in good working order. On Sunday, Feb 5 2012 I noticed that I was getting no cooling so I searched Angie's List for a local HVAC contractor and chose Reynolds Home Comfort Inc on the "A" list. I rang them the next day, Monday 6 Feb and their scheduling person, Jen said she'd get back to me within 10 minutes as she said they were booked well into the week but should be able to re-arrange one of the crew to service us....she did just that and we scheduled for the following afternoon between 3-4. Around 10am the next morning she rang and stated that she had a cancellation could the service person come earlier, about 30 minutes from her call. About 30 minutes later Paul Reynolds, the owner knocked on the door. He checked the unit out, found a fried lizard lying across the poles of the compressor's electrical connections. The lizard had shorted out the connections and that resulted in the failure of the start capacitor. It was replaced, the unit fired up and, after about 15 minutes from the knock on the door, the unit was humming along! Thanks Jen for your deligence and responsiveness. Thanks Paul for a job well done.

When i had purchased my 1976 home I had the usual mechanical inspection and was assured by the paid inspector that everything was good to go and should last for years. Unfortunately after just 2 years I started having major issues with the system. I called 7 different HVAC companies for quotes. 4 didn't show, 2 wanted to do it without permits and then there was Paul Reynolds. From the beginning Paul was a professional. He handed me a packet of brochures and then throughly checked out my system. With his recommendations we chose to totally gut the old system and put in new equipment, and ducts. I cannot say enough good things about him, his crew, their work and the design of the new system or the equipment. He may not be the cheapest system out there but he was the best.. I knew that I had picked the best when the city inspectors were impressed with the quality of work. When I was given the final bill it was to the dollar what was originally quoted. Reynolds Home Comfort has me as a customer for life.

We had our ac handler, ac, duct work, bathroom fans vented properly and dryer vent properly vented. A big investment well worth it. Highly reccomended crew!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great everything went on as planned. Had to return once to adjust thermostat

I needed someone to fix my a/c asap. They bent over backwards to get to my house quickly, gave me several options and were generaly very helpful. He went out of his way to do a good job.

Based largely on ratings in Angies List I called Reynolds Home Comfort, Inc. to obtain an estimate of the cost of replacing my present A/C system plus replacing the A/C ducts in the attic. The owner of the company, Mr. Reynolds, visited my home and explained to me the available options and an estimate of the costs involved. While it may not have been the cheapest possible price, I considered it fair, and I agreed to having the work done. The work was to commence on June 7th. On that date Mr. Reynolds arrived punctually at the agreed time with two employees, Josh and Ian, who were to do the actual work. Mr. Reynolds stayed long enough to go through the work to be done with the two employees as well as myself. I had requested that, if possible, the installation would have progressed far enough on that day so that it would be possible to have the A/C in operation during the coming night since the weather was very hot. The installation proceeded at a a good pace and, sure enough, these two very competent installers were able to complete the installation by the end of the day to the extent that it was possible to use the new A/C by that night. The following day the two installers again arrived very puctually and proceeded with the replacement of the ducts. This work was also completed in a very timely and professional manner. Mr. Reynolds came once more on the third day to examine the work that had been done and explain to me how to set the thermostat as well as any other necessary issues. All in all, the installation and everything associated with it has been accomplished to my complete satisfaction with nothing left to be desired. I can highly recommend this company to anyone needing this type of work.

Very well. Two young men arrived on time as scheduled. They were very courteous, well mannered, and well trained in the installation process. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They worked continuously and methodically on what was a 90 degree plus day. Paul Reynolds, the business owner, personally provided the job estimate and accompanied the installation techs when they arrived to help kick off the project. He returned in mid-day to check on progress and to provide support and help to his techs.

The owner, Paul Reynolds, came to our home more than once and discussed our options in detail (heat pump vs. straight air conditioning, etc.) including various price points, differences in equipment and how various specs would affect state rebates, etc. We asked a lot of detailed questions which he always answered patiently. He did not try to push any particular equipment but gave his considered opinions when we asked. He is a Trane "Comfort Specialist" dealer and knew his product line well. He sent written estimates promptly and was professional in all respects. We had questions/concerns about some new ductwork and he worked out a solution with us at reasonable cost. His installers were prompt, neat, courteous and eager to make sure we were satisfied. We shopped other companies and found Reynold's pricing to be competitive in all respects. We would use this company again and recommend them.

Reynolds Home Comfort were very prompt. They made some recommendations. However, I haven't even had the work done. They came up with a couple recommendations that no other company presented to me. That was very helpful as far as making a final determination. They followed up with a phone call and emailed quote.

The work was quickly and expertly completed. The service was courteous and friendly. There was a prompt response and solution to our drainage issue.

This is in reference to Reynolds Home Comfort, Inc. A friend of mine told us about this company when we were in need of consultation and recommendation for a new home we had purchased. We found ourselves in an unusual situation. This was a newly built home which was started by one builder and then turned over to a second builder for completion. Unfortunately, the original builder selected the contractor for the heating and cooling system and shortly after moving in; we realized we were having issues with our systems. We got the run around from all parties involved and both my husband and I were extremely frustrated with the situation. This is when my friend recommended Reynolds Home Comfort, Inc. because of their great service. So I gave the company a call. To my surprise, Paul Reynolds, the owner answered the phone. I explained our dilemma and he offered to take a look at our systems and make recommendations. To make a long story short, Paul went to battle for us. He contacted the builder and explained the problems he had identified, made recommendations for how to remedy the issues, and watched over the contractor to ensure the job was completed properly. We were so impressed with Paul s wiliness to assist and his personal interest in making sure that our systems were fixed. We also own a condominium and when we began to have problems with the heat, I called Reynolds Home Comfort. Again, Paul answered the phone. We hired the company to replace both the heating and air conditioning systems. They were timely, neat, fast, and completed the job with perfection. They cleaned up their mess and removed all of the old equipment. We have since hired them for all of our routine maintenance. Each encounter we have had is the same, professional and reliable!
