Miami's Quality Auto Repair

The had to replace an oil coolant in my 2002 Jaguar. The price was in line with what others charge. Their mechanic, service and office personnel in general was very professional. In most other places I would have gotten a loaner a no charge i.e.Warren Henry. At Miami's Quality Auto Repair they gave me a small old Nissan with 70,000 miles and charge me $125 additional. I will probably not used them in the future and go back to Warren Henry Jaguar dealer which by the way also provides paper mats and plastic over the seats for protection and wash the car before being delivered to you.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. It went well. Everybody was very professional. It took them no more than 10 minutes to start working on my car and no more than 30 to give it back which is relatively quick. I guess they were most friendly and they worked a lot faster than I expected. The job has been done well and it was well documented. I was pretty happy with the service. There were no extra charges.

To begin with I thought this was a great experience but then I began to think that the price was too cheap for what they said would be done to my car; subsequently, my car is not running as well as it was before I took it in to them and I am left wondering what they did to it. The reason I said I would go back to this garage is that they have already worked on my car and I would like to think that they could rectify the problems I am now experiencing. The staff that worked there were very pleasant and the waiting room was clean and tidy but unfortunately I am wary now due to how my car is running.

When the diagnosis was complete, they gave me an estimate of $1300.00 for parts and labor. They gave my son the estimate, which had not itemization. I called them this morning to get the part numbers so that I could check on the pricing with another service provider. They informed they were not able to supply me with the part numbers because they did not know what they were. I went to my Volvo dealership today with the diagnostic paperwork and they said that the job that they estimated at $1300.00 was actually a $600.00 job. They also then supplied me with the part numbers. So I then called the Volvo dealership in Miami and explained the situation. They told me that I should ask Miami's Quality Auto Repair why the estimate was so high. Both Volvo dealerships know the issue because it is a common problem with these cars. I then called Miami's Quality Auto Repair this afternoon, and estimated a copy of the itemized estimate and he informed me that he gave it to my son. I asked for an emailed copy and they stated they did not have one.

The service went very well. They fixed my car and were honest.

My car shifter was disabled due to a faulty shift cable. It was causing my car to go in reverse all the time. They got into the shifting console and replaced the cable. Thank you very much Quality auto repair! Great service.

The 1976 Classic car had constant problems with starting.It would grind and groan and then die and constantly require new battery, starter, fly wheel etc. Miami Quality Auto Repair felt like going into a fine clinic when the specialists gathered around the patient, listened carefully to all the symptoms and then did a careful thorough procedure to effect a cure. They were friendly, careing and totally knowledgeable. PROBLEM SOLVED! The car was ready when they said and it runs great. They even called the next day to be sure problem was solved. They were totally knowledgeable, friendly,efficient and know their business.They are worth any travel time to get to!!

The job was done fantastically. Very professional service and great price! We couldn't have been more pleased. We purchased their $25 coupon on Angie's List for a 51-point auto oil change and four wheel tire rotation ($97 value) and called them right away to make an appointment. Jay answered the phone and was very courteous and scheduled us to come in the next day. When we dropped off the car for service we were offered coffee right away (they also had bottled water and other refreshments available) and were told by Jay that we could be shuttled anywhere we wanted to go while the car was being serviced. Jay drove us to a friend's house nearby where we waited until the car was ready. They immediately sent us a text message with a link with photos of our two air filters (air and cabin filters) that needed to be replaced really bad. We called Jay back to authorize the air filter replacements and he put us on the phone directly with the mechanic. We authorized the work over the phone and about an hour and a half later, the car was ready. Our friends gave us a lift back and when we got there the mechanic showed us the results in writing of the 51-point inspection where it was detailed everything that needs to get done with the car. We would definitely bring our car back there for service. They performed great work, done very quickly and at a fair price!

I've been here a couple times and they seem to do well. Their recommendations seem to be reasonable.

They were very helpful and pleasant. They told me I needed a lot of things repaired so I took it to another place that I usually went to and they were a lot of things they told me I needed that weren't necessary. The office people were really nice, I give the mechanics an F.

We have been using them for at least 5 years. They are always very nice. If need be, they will give you ride back home. We trust their work.

I have a VW Passat and I took it for an estimate - I had an axle problem, the CV joint. They fixed it and they fixed it for about $300 less than the VW Dealer. Three weeks later I hit something with the front end of my car, and the under cover under the front of the car came loose. I went over there and the guy just said to me "You don't need to get an expensive part, I'll just tie this up for you with some of those plastic ties and it's going to hold." I just walked in and asked how long it would take and he said he would do it right now. And he didn't charge me. I noticed the first time when I went there I was there for quite a while, and I noticed that everybody who went in there for repairs was repeat business. Everybody was in a good mood. There wasn't any of the tension you have at the Dealers. People were actually ok to be there. I like that, because it tells me that people are satisfied and they are not nervous when they walk in there as to what is going to happen, what is going to be done to them. The time they fixed my car, I had an appointment. They rented me a car, they took me to the car rental and then they brought me back to there place, so it is great service. The price is great, the people were very nice, the atmosphere there - you could tell that people really liked them.

Upon calling I could tell the level of professionalism was far higher than any other mechanic I've used before. My appointment was made and I had their free shuttle service set up so I could get back to work as they worked on my vehicle. The day of my service I was greeted by the receptionist and the garage manager and explained what would happen. They offered me their customer loyalty program (a paid service) but was not pressured to buy. My vehicle needed more work done after its 51-point inspection so the job took a little bit longer to complete than originally thought. It wasn't a problem because I was at work being able to remain productive for the day. When the work was completed they picked me up and returned me to the shop. The only negative aspect of the experience was the pricing. The standard oil change and tire rotation (as well as the other work I had done) costs more than most other shops I've visited. They must know that they offer exceptional customer service and charge you for it. Overall, a good experience. I will most likely return for future visits.

All staff members were professional and courteous. They were able to answer in detail to any and all of my questions. The service was performed in a timely manner. Looking for a reputable mechanic is not an easy task, but as I looked at this profile on Angie's List I realized that so many positive reviews couldn't all be wrong so I called them up and spoke to Andres. My car's a/c was not working properly. I did some basic troubleshooting on my own and had an idea where the problem could be but couldn't narrow it down. I told him about the symptoms over the phone and he said it could be a couple of things, but he would have to look at it to be sure. When I brought the car down he went through a list of things that could be causing the problem. Some more expensive than others. The next day he called me and told me that they had checked all the usual suspects and that it did not look as though any of them were the problem. The fact that he didn't try to charge me for a new compressor or a bunch of expensive fixes basically told me that I was dealing with a straight shooter. He suggested I might have a leak in the system and that the only way to look for it would be to recharge the freon and let it run for a few weeks to find the leak. He charged me a very reasonable amount for the recharge and I went on my way. It's been a week now and the A/C is functioning much more consistently than it was before. In the next couple of weeks I plan to take the vehicle back in to his shop so he can find out where the leak in the system might be. I can tell you that it is a very good feeling knowing that you have to take your car to the mechanic and that he is going to tell you EXACTLY what is wrong with it and not try to overcharge you. When I find someone that does a good job at a fair price I tend to stick with them. I think I just found my new mechanic. I highly recommend these guys...go with confidence...they certainly have earned mine.

When I brought my 2007 Toyota Highlander to Miami's Quality Auto Repair (MQAR), I was looking to resolve several issues. My AC was not working and I had been told by another repair shop that I needed to replace the compressor. In addition, I thought I needed a new timing belt. Wanting a fully qualified shop, I selected from the highest recommended providers on Angie's List. My initial contact with Jay who answered the phone at MQAR was very positive and I was scheduled for service the next business day. Another demonstration of how business is conducted at MQAR came with my ensuing conversation with Andres, the service manager. Rather than taking advantage of the misinformation I had been given, Andres said "I am not ready to condemn your compressor. We need more information which the application of dye into the system should reveal." This was an unexpected yet refreshing customer service oriented approach. Andres could have accepted the previous diagnosis and launched into a costly repair. He also informed me that the Highlander has a timing chain, rather than a belt, and that the chain was just fine. More expenses averted! What did occur is that Andres identified and provided a series of timely maintenance services which have improved my vehicle's performance and quality of operation. I left with my same AC compressor and a recharged AC system that at present is working excellently. Jay and Andres helped to offset the cost of the repairs by allowing me to join their Car Care Club which extended generous discounts to the work being completed. The entire process has brought a peace of mind to my wife and I that we now have Miami's Quality Auto Service in place to resolve our future auto repair and maintenance needs. Very customer service orientated. a good company... Usually impeccable, but once I was unhappy with their performance on fixing something. . the manager or owner called me to apologize and had it fixed correctly. I was pleasantly impressed by his move.

I initially got them through AAA. I have been happy with them. They have been courteous and nice. Everything has been good.

They are always very professional. Their prices are very fair and reasonable. They are very honest and trustworthy. I would highly recommend them. They are very personable and polite. They will pick you up and drop you off at your home if you're near by. I have used them for other auto services and have always been satisfied with them.
