as others stated, Charlie personally answered the call, took down my information immediately and informed me that he'd be seeing me later in the day.   As he said he would, he called later and gave me about a 25 minute heads up that he's on his way.   Without going into too much detail, I'd like to just point out the dichotomy in todays for hire labor force. There's those with a moral compass, an ethic of whats right and what's wrong; and those that will only do what's in their self serving interest.  There's no question where Charlie stands in this debate.  Charlie, did a great job of fixing my dryer and then some.   I will be using Charlie for anything he's willing to fix moving forward!

Answered the phone came out and gave an estimate within in an hour. Came back a few days later with the parts and made the repair.

Responded by phone very quickly to a message I left for him, and arrived soon after.  He diagnosed the cause of the cooling issue and immediately solved with a low cost fix to get me back in business.  I am still deciding whether the old refrigerator is worth the cost of a "restore to new" solution.  It's working now.

We randomly chose ASAP from Angie's list. When we called, Charlie answered the phone personally and immediately. We told him the problem was that the dishwasher latch on our 15 year old unit no longer worked. He disclosed that he charges $65 for the service call, which would be applied to the repair if we proceeded, and that he could come within a few minutes. We were wowed by that.
He showed up within 20 minutes, took a look at the problem, called his supplier -it was in stock- said he may be able to come back later that day to install the part, and gave us the price. We told him to go ahead and paid the initial service call fee. Sure enough, he called in the afternoon, came back and spent about an hour dismantling the door, installing the part, tightening the handle while he was in there, and putting it all back together..
We were impressed by his responsiveness, and he is nice guy to boot. I would not hesitate to call him in the future should we need a repair. Oh, and he always leaves with a joke. Old school service and a pleasure to deal with.

I called Charles first thing in the morning along with several other service companies after having read the reviews on Angie's Listl. He answered his own phone and made an appointment to be at my property within 2 hours. The other companies were left messages and only one called back and tried to schedule me in for 2 days later (really, my food is defrosting). Charles then called when he was 15 minutes away. He took a look at a couple of areas of the freezer and listened/questioned my summary of the recent activity. He made his suggestions which in no way could benefit him whatsoever. Before leaving, he told me a joke, gave me advise on 2 other appliances, and made suggestions about my freezer. He was a decent, kind man who I felt was very trustworthy...exactly the kind of person I like dealing with!

His name is Charlie. He does his own work. When I call him he shows up by himself. He is a general nice person who does an honest job for what I consider a reasonable amount of money. He is good all the way around.

Called, informed him that the unit was in a rental property. He only takes cash and checks. I couldn't get out to the property that day so I worked it out with the tenant. He called me with the details and price on the repair. Price was fair (I've had these parts replaced on this unit before so it wasn't a surprise and the unit's about 10 years old), work was quick and now the dryer works!

I FELT FOOLISH IN EXPLAINING HOW I BROKE THE WASHER. THE SERVICE PERSON WAS VERY KIND, AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK TO MAKE THE WASHER WORK AGAIN. I GUESS I LEARNED THAT LARGE COMFORTERS AND WASHING MACHINES DO NOT GO TOGETHER.
