This very positive review is for the merged companies of Space Coast Cooling and Plumbing/Miranda Plumbing and Air Conditioning and their professional technicians, Eddie, Chad, Jacob, Louis and Matt. Space Coast has been in Brevard County for decades and they recently joined up with Miranda, a well-respected company from Port St. Lucie. The above mentioned employees teamed up from both companies. Recently our A/C sprung a gas leak and stopped working in 93 degree weather. We called Space Coast as we have been dealing with them for over 20 years; however, they had bad news for us as it would cost over $4,000 to replace the existing coils. Since the unit was 11 years old we decided to replace it with a new, technologically superior Trane variable speed two stage system. This new system was costly so we sought three quotes from local companies. To their credit, Eddie and Chad topped off our gas at no charge to keep us cool in the meantime. The other companies provided professional bids; however, Space Coast came in lower in cost and they could do the work four days earlier which was important as our home was hotter each day. To meet their promised schedule, Jacob and Louis came early in the morning to remove the old system while Matt drove all the way to Port St. Lucie to pick up the new system as it wasnâ t yet available locally. Jacob and Louis knew their stuff and were well schooled on the system and its capabilities. They had the new system up and running by the end of the day and connected it to WIFI so we could control it remotely from our iPhones. And, this system is fantastic! Also, at that time they didnâ t have the upgraded filter available. A few days later after it arrived, Chad and Eddie returned and had it installed in an hour. Very convenient for us. In summary, this company and their well trained technicians epitomize professionalism in business. As a former Contracting Officer and certified Cost/Price Analyst for both the USAF and U.S. Department of State at our embassies abroad, I must attest to their excellence.
