The tech. Bill came out and was right on time. He was very professional and answered any questions I had while performing a regular checkup and cleaning. Would highly recommend.

On time, knowledgeable, offered replacement/installation options and explained each, for the replacement of 15 year old system in a 1,100 SF condo. Only "complaint" : This was the first time I used this company. When I received a call from their office (after using discount offer online through Angie's List) The person who called from their office tried to sell me an annual service contract - 0ver 100 dollars right off the bat! - l though that was a little pushy as I was just looking for a one time visit/service call to evaluate the existing A/C system. )

Two other man came out to install the new A/C and furnace on Thursday, but said they were not trained to do the duct cleaning. I was told the duct cleaning had to be done after the install and I would have to schedule that for a different day. This was an inconvenience for me with my work schedule and having already taken 1 day off. I called Hearth and Home and was not able to speak with Shannon again. Another office person scheduled a duct cleaning for the following Saturday. Still an inconvenient time for me but at least it fit into my work schedule. This is why I rated the Responsiveness and Overall as a Grade C. On the following Monday I came home from work to find the A/C not working. I called Hearth and Home and Angel came to my house within about an hour to check on it. He said the compressor was not working. He thought it was probably hit by lightning which he said was something that happened only rarely. There really wasn't much lightning on Monday and nothing else in my home was damaged, but Angel said the compressor was covered by the warranty and would be replaced for free. I'm now waiting for the service dept to call and schedule another appointment to come to my home. Overall everyone I have talked with has been polite and professional, but I'm not happy about the delayed duct cleaning and misinformation and would probably not use this company again.

They showed up on time and checked unit, which needs replaced. Bill was a professional that looked over my AC and installation and offered several options, they provided an estimate on a new unit before he left. I'm getting pricing from several companies and have not decided on which manufacturer to go with, but I would be comfortable with them doing the new installation.

It turned out okay, and he did the tune-up. They tried to convince me to buy a new A/C for $6,000, which I don’t think I needed. He also tried to push a UV light for $298. They also wanted me to sign up for a one year contract too, for $119. I didn't like the pushy salesman tactic.

ALL---products break ---not matter how well made. The demands put on products, especially heavily used products, in our modern age, break in the summer Florida sunshine. The employees of this business are AWESOME and do everything possible to serve the customer. and find the top rated products and install them and maintain them to the best of their ability,. I applaud this company for their excellent customer service and high qualiity products.

I was so impressed, and delighted that this was an honest air conditioning servicing establishment. I've stopped calling other companies because they would always install the fear factor-you have to purchasing a new air condition, yours is too old. Come to find out mine is old but it works just fine. The tech-Bill was wonderful. He checked everything and explained everything to me. Something the other techs never did. They would come in and stick their noses up and hand me a brochure to buy. Kudos to this brilliant company!

He did not mind that I followed him and asked questions. He seemed honest and knew what he was doing.

The provider arrived on time and did a full inspection of the central air unit. They answered any questions I had and made a couple suggestions. They were very polite and professional. In the end, I bought a maintenance agreement from them even though they did not push it and I was the one that brought it up. I feel safe with this company, unlike other companies I have used in the past.

Extremely well. They gave us all alternatives and their prices were very reasonable. Finally have a new AC that is working extremely well. THANKS!! Would recommend above other providers used in the past. Workmanship TOP-NOTCH!!!

They were fantastic. They came in to clean the soot from my fireplace after we had had another company clean the fireplace. They were very diligent in making sure that the soot did not get in my home. They were on time, very professional and called to verify the appointment. We got a great deal with our Angie’s List and senior discount.

Rick showed up on time, diagnosed the problem in our "ac" as a plugged drain line. He cleaned the line and recommended we replace the safety tripper. He also showed me a method for keeping the drain line open. All in all a good dat

They were quick to provide an estimate, and worked with us to provide the best solution at a price we could afford. Installation was done quick and efficiently.

I've used Hearth and Home exclusively for my A/C service. For the past few months, I've been attempting to schedule a preventive maintenance on my system. The first time, they canceled due to lightning. I certainly don't blame them for that, but I did expect them to pick up the missed appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Finally got a second appointment scheduled and I took another day off work and they had to postpone my appointment due to an emergency. Since I had other appointments that day, I had to reschedule yet again. The third appointment was a no call, no show. I called the office 30 minutes after the appointment window and was informed that the technician had been held up on another job and I was supposed to have been called. My final attempt was this morning. I was originally scheduled for 9-11. They called earlier in the week and asked to move the time back to 8-10. Then yesterday (July 4th), they called to reschedule. My wife told them that this was the fourth try and they said oh, well then we'll be there. So got a call prior to 10:00 that the technician was helping with a roof unit in Indialantic and that he'd be at the house by 11. At 11:15 I called the office and they said they were surprised he wasn't already at the house. So, again, I canceled as I had other appointments to attend to. All in all, it's been 3 days off to try and schedule this with no success. I like the quality of the service, but either they don't have enough technicians or their service scheduling is being done by the Marx Brothers. The certainly are failing to be respectful of their customers time.

Awesome! From John's first visit, we knew he was a professional. He gave us options and various price ranges. He helped us select the right long-term unit for our home. The Service Manager came out and inspected everything after completion. Tracey and Shannon in the office are very friendly and easy to work with. I HIGHLY recomend them! This is a BIG purchase and you need to select the best who will stand behind their work.

Our experience with Hearth & Home, from our first phone call to the completion of the installation, has been nothing but excellent. We called 5 A/C contractors for estimates -- only 3 showed up (one was hours late). When Rick, Hearth & Home's Service Manager appeared (right on time), we were impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, intelligence and humor. He gave us a very fair estimate and followed up with a call the next morning (so rare these days). It was easy to make our decision to have H&H replace our system and we called him back within the hour. The installers arrived the next morning and the job was completed early afternoon -- we couldn't be happier with our new quiet and cold new A/C.

The central A/C unit in my in-laws Palm Bay home was very old and in need of replacement. My in-laws were constantly having problems with the unit and spending a fortune in repairs every time it needed service. My wife and I live in New York and it was difficult for us to travel to Fl and try to find reputable companies to give us estimates so I relied on the internet and searched a few businesses in their area. I narrowed my search down to one specific brand, model and capacity (ton) unit and started the search for pricing. First I called the company that in-laws were using to maintain and fix the prior unit to request pricing and information, I called several other business but, felt that we were not getting our questions answered as far as pricing for the total project and information on the product being installed until I called Hearth & Home Heating and Cooling. I asked them the same questions I asked the others and I was pretty amazed and very impressed with their professionalism in the manner in which they answered all our questions and concerns. After two or three more conversations with them over the phone and several email exchanges on pricing and installation we contracted them to do the job. The job was done as schedule at the agreed price which was significantly less than I had been quoted previously by two other businesses in the area. I sent someone to inspect the job and take pictures of the work they did after it was all completed and I must say they did a superb job. Thank you for a job well done. A/C Heating unit stopped working. The dual breaker at the panel was getting hot and was tripping. The technician (Robert G.) replaced it with a new breaker and left everything working. After a few hours the breaker tripped again I called again and spoke with the receptionist which was very helpful. We both spoke with Robert about the problem, At first Robert seemed to be a bit concerned that perhaps the breaker was not the problem since the he had already changed it. He thought that maybe something else was going on possibly with the wiring and suggested to have an electrician check the wiring. But, I happened to have an electrician at the house at the time checking the old panel to give us an estimate to replace it which checked the breaker for us and confirmed that the new breaker that Robert had replaced was indeed bad. We told Robert about the finding. Robert didn't have another breaker available but, Hearth & Home Heating and Cooling Co called their supplier quickly which had one in stock and Robert was kind enough to pick it up and go back to the house and replace it. Everything is working again thanks to Hearth & Home Heating and Cooling Co staff’s quick response. My in-laws thank you. I thank you.

I like everything about their service. They were on time and did exactly what they said they would do and they did even a little bit more.

Pleased with the service. A/C went out on a weekend night. Called H&H. They sent an experienced person. He had the needed part on his service truck. He checked the freon level & added some. In & out in less than 1 hour. Very pleased.

Receptionist was friendly, got to talk to a real person - on Sunday Technician called in less time than I was told & arrived promptly

I called and talked to them. They gave me the number of a different department and then I left a message with them and they never called me back. I did not use their service because of this.

They are excellent. They had a wide variety of products and they are very knowledgeable and professional.
