Description of Work: I have had many low cost water conditioners that you can purchase from Sears. The units would work for 1-2 years in most cases and then start having problems. I had several co-workers who had purchased Kinetico systems from Superior Water and had many positive things to say about them. So when my low cost Sears unit started having issues again I finally called Superior. I received a quick call back to schedule my estimate. The appointment for the estimate was great. Ron did a great job explaining the system and was not high pressure at all. I decided to purchase a Kenetico system from Superior with the charcoal tanks on each side of my system to remove chlorine from the water on incoming side.. I have had the system for 8 years now and have had zero problems with the unit. It requires no electricity and is always producing soft water even when recharging the other tank. Every 4 years they contact me to have the charcoal tanks recharged which is a normal maintenance item. If you want the best system around and do not want to keep replacing your current system every 3-5 years this is the system to have. Does it cost more, yes, is it worth it, yes. They even offer a service to come out and disconnect your unit if you are moving and then install it at your new location. Also I have had questions about if my water was being softened correctly. You can bring a hot and cold sample to their office in North Tampa and they will test your water for free. The bottom line is you get what you pay for with this product.

Description of Work: The Kinetico equipment has been reasonably reliable but we were sold a chlorinator that turned out not to be a Kinetico product (we were told it was part of the total system but I called Kinetico directly and found that it is not a Kinetico product) and which has repeated failed, costing a minimum of $100 each time it is repaired, which is every 6-9 months. Most (not all) of the service personnel are polite and conscientious; the office staff are quite another story, rude and argumentative. Having been informed last week that I would have to buy a new chlorinator for $600, I'm just done with this company. I would not recommend this company despite my being basically satisfied with the actual Kinetico product because this is the authorized dealer of Kinetico and the service attitude is just really terrible.

Recently stop in to ask questions about our RO system and Bill Brownell was extremely helpful in providing answers to the questions. We highly recommend Superior and their Kinetico line of products.

Description of Work: ASKED FOR A WATER ANALYSIS DUE TO PARTICLES SHOWING UP IN WATER. THEY SHOWED UP THE WRONG NIGHT FOR THE APPOINTMENT. THEIR SOLUTION WAS TO SELL ME A $3000 WATER SOFTENER. THEY SAID THAT SHOULD SOLVE MY PROBLEM. THEY WROTE UP A SALES ORDER WHEN I ASKED FOR AN ESTIMATE. FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY MY PLUMBER DETERMINED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS A DEFECTIVE HOT WATER HEATER. THIS COMPANY JUST WANTED TO SELL ME THEIR WATER SOFTENER - NOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM.
