I called last night when we couldn't secure our new homes sliding glass doors. The house is 15 years old. The owner was very nice and caring and said she might have an opening tomorrow; but if not they would come secure the sliding doors tomorrow until they could come out and make any needed repairs. I got a call at 815 AM that they were on there way. The owner himself looked at our 4 sliders and cleaned and lubricated each door and recommended a few items that needed to be repaired. The owner himself was very low pressure and didn't recommend much and was so patient to explain everything he was doing. We bought the locks for each door and he is coming back next week to put the last 2 on which was on back order. The locks are incredible; well worth the money! This is my first experience utilizing anybody on Angie's List and boy it was an amazing experience. I would recommend them to anybody that wants to hire a good honest and caring company. My brother was here when they did it because I was at work, but my brother was here at my home to oversee their work. He said that two people came and upon arrival they went out to the lanai and laid down material so that when they lifted out the door the door would not get damaged, dirtied, or scratched. It took them about 20 to 30 minutes to replace the rollers. They were very meticulous in making sure that the job was perfect. My brother said that they would try the door and say, "nope, not quite right yet." One man would even have to occasionally shave a minuet inch off the roller. They did not do anything under expectation. I now have to be careful when opening the door as it opens very well. Many people could save a great deal if they realized that perhaps just having old worn out rollers replaced as the problem, and not the door itself. I would definitely hire them again.

The first company came out and stated they could not fix my current door and strongly suggested a new door for $ 6800.00 to which I promptly asked them to leave. I then called Sliding Door Roller Replacement Inc and from the inception new I had contacted the rite company. The person answering the phone , Michelle, is polite, profesional and informative and quickly made the appointment. The day of the appointment went smooth with a 20 minute phone call prior to the technician arrival. The technicians arrived on time, introduced themselves and went to work. One hour later our problem resolved. I found Sliding Door Roller Replacement at their booth during a recent Home Show. I picked up a business card after looking at the sample CAL double bolt lock they had on display for sliding glass doors. The lock is an external assembly that mounts on the door frame and prevents the sliding door from being pryed open or lifted out of the track. Abraham told me at the homeshow that he would give me the home show discount on the locks - $50.00 each. He also told me that he charges a $75.00 trip charge. I checked out the locks online and didn't think I wanted to DIY this one due to the possibility of hitting glass while drilling into my doors. I also ran into a lot of online comments about the locks not fitting on some types of doors, so after checking out Sliding Door Roller Replacement on Angie's List, I called Sliding Door Roller Replacement and made an appointment to buy the locks and have them installed. Abraham and John showed up about 5 minutes early and John installed the locks in about 20 minutes. The locks look great and work great. Both Abraham and John were courteous and professional.

Abraham and helper(did not get helper name) were very professional and completed the job in an efficent and quality manner. They worked together as a team and that made the job smooth and quick. I called the week before and left a message and Michelle called back pretty quick. She was nice and was willing to make an appointment for two days later BUT I moved them to the Friday so I could be home when they came. They were alittle late showing up but a previous job in St Pete held them up and they were very considerate by calling at least 2 times to advise of time update. I can understand about traffic so I can't blame them for the short lag. Job was done in professional manner and both of the guys were very codial. The price was exactly as quoted by Michelle. I did think that it was a little high but as they had good ratings on Angies I was willing to pay rather than take a chance on getting some jerk. As they are very good at their jobs, I guess the price was not that far out of line and it was right on the quote. No suprises, they did a great job. I will hire again if the need comes up.

They did a fantastic job! They came out on very short notice (that day) and replaced the locks and rollers. They also instructed me how to maintain the rollers. Could not have been happier.

The door works bettter than new because of the special double rollers installed. Theowner of the company performed the work and he instructed me how to maintain my other sliders in the future to maximize performance over the longest period of time.Cleanup was thorough and the owner was friendly and sincere. This is a quality compnay that knows their craft very well. I will use them again.

Abraham promptly arrived and analyzed my troublesome triple pane door. He clearly explained the issue and what he would do to resolve it. He also said that he would re-assess the need for fixing the track after he replaced the rollers. He also checked out my other two double sliders upon my request. There is an issue with one of my double sliders where either side would open when trying to shut and lock the doors. After troubleshooting, Abraham explained that the issue was caused to the house settling and explored some options to fix. Ultimately, he suggested to leave it alone. As there no major issues on my other slider and was rarely used, he also recommended to leave it alone. And so, he proceeded to fix my triple pane door along with his assistant. They both tirelessly worked on replacing the rollers on each panel and cleaned the tracks in the hot Florida sun (yes, my doors are southeast facing.) After they completed the job, my wife and I were excited to test the sliding doors. Wow! They rolled smoothly and effortlessly. Abraham also mentioned that we did not have to address the track. He walked me through maintenance tips including using a commercial spray that I opted to purchase from him (way better than WD-40 which is not recommended anyway.) So between not having to fix the track and not fixing my other two sliding doors, I would say that Abraham is one of the few honest people not out there trying to take advantage of his customers. Thanks Abraham for fixing and improving my sliding glass doors! I can now find another workout that does not involve struggling with sliding glass doors :) If you do decide to go with Abraham, I recommend making a clear agreement on your expectations as you would with any contractor. This includes things such as what exactly is to be fixed, what to clean up, etc. Other than that, you will be extremely pleased with Abraham's work.

This is a great company. I called them on a Monday after my door had finally the lick. It wouldn't shut. I called Sliding Glass Door Repair and they called me back immediately. These guys came in on time. They cleaned my track, installed my rollers, and had me better than new in less than a hour. I have spent up to a full day changing out the rollers in the past. These guys came in a whallah... it was done in less than an hour. Best 165 bucks I've ever spent. Thanks!

Everything went well with replacing the rollers and cleaning the tracks. The work took about 45 min. However for the money, I felt they could have cleaned the door frames/glass after they got them dirty; even if they weren't dirty, it would have been a nice touch for their service.

It went perfectly!! They called to confirm the appointment the day before then they called when they were about 40 minutes out. arrived on time and ready to work. They were clean and professional. They again LISTENED to what our concerns were regarding our sliding doors and then went straight to work. They wire brush cleaned and vacuumed the tracks, replaced the rollers. The door NOW open and closes with NO effort--I'm in love with my doors again LOL!! They then cleaned up after themselves and left no evidence that they were ever here EXCEPT for a perfectly working door!

Quick, on time, efficient, showed me each step in the process, cleaned my tracks and then showed me how to clean them (I have 2 large hairy dogs and hair gets caught in the tracks), and turned a barely movable door into a gentle finger push! These guys are AWESOME!!

Our sliding glass door always caught in the same place and wouldn't close. We would have to repeatedly put it back on the track. The last person we had come out to repair it actually made it worse. Abraham put on a new track and new rollers. I also had him install a handle which makes it easier to open. Our door is a triple door. Abraham pointed out that the glass in the second door was not seated in the gasket. He showed us the gap. He also fixed this for us. We have had so many people come out to fix this door over the past four years. None of them could make it work right. This is the first time that it glides like skates on ice. Thanks Abraham!

We arranged the appointment with Michelle, who was very responsive, helpful and provided pricing information in advance. Abraham and his assistant called ahead, and arrived exactly on time. Abraham was wonderful throughout the process--showing us the old and new parts, and exactly what he was doing. He cleaned, replaced and repaired the door so that it now works 300% better than it did before, and glides across the track. They asked if we wanted to add a large door handle, which was a wonderful suggestion and is a big help. Abraham instructed us how to maintain the track to keep it working smoothly. He is a true craftsman and professional, and wonderful to work with!

Abraham was FANTASTIC!!! He is honest, punctual and does not try to sell you something you don't need. He saved us $15,000 in that we don't have to buy new doors now (our doors are very old - around 40 years). Our old doors slide very nicely now and most importantly, they close completely and lock so that we can keep the rain and wind out. You can't go wrong with this company. Just terrific all around!

The appointment was easy to schedule directly with the owner and they were able to schedule the work very quickly. Two workmen came out and they were very pleasant and informative, got to work quickly and finished up. They gave me pointers on cleaning and maintaining the tracks and offered a lubricant product without pressure which I went ahead and purchased; they gave me the informaion on how to find it myself but it was convenient to get it from them so I did. The estimate given over the phone was right on track but I voluntarily added some additional work when I saw how great the replaced panels worked. The rollers used are high quality double brass rollers. Much better than what I had. They did not attempt to upsell at all, I had to make a specific request to replace all the rollers as they were just planning on doing the side that moved mostly, I appreciated that. I felt the value was well worth the money spent. The doors operate better than new I literally can operate them with my little finger. Overall I am extremely happy with the work.

We contacted the company via Angie's list, and they called back the same day. When they came out, they repaired both doors for exactly the price they quoted. The doors now work better than when they were new - and the locks are much more secure. We were considering replacing the door on the first floor, as it had become very problematic - but thought we should try a repair first. We're glas we did. This saved us a lot of money. My wife also commented that she was pleased that they did not try to "upsell" on their service. They are just a very good solution if you are having problems with aging sliding doors.

They arrived on time, were very pleasant, professional and easy to deal with. They recommended replacement of rollers on one side of each of three of the double doors, and cleaned and lubricated all four of the doors. The work was done in about one hour. They also adjusted our security locks. They made very little mess and cleaned up after themselves. I felt that they were very conservative in the recommendation of work to be done: they could have recommended replacing all of the rollers, but instead concentrated on the doors that we use regularly. We are very happy with the results. The doors now very easily roll open and shut, and this has actually improved considerably as time has gone on. We would definitely recommend them and would use this company again without reservation.
