Service and response was excellent

The entire process was a pleasure. Scott was very professional and was very helpful in guiding us to the appropriate system for us. His installation team was on time and completed the job even earlier than anticipated. They left our home clean and restored the way they found it.

The unit was fixed promptly. House is nice and warm again on this chilly morning.

It was a good job. Finding a low voltage short can be as tedious and time consuming as any job can be. Cliff followed solid technique and procedure to isolate and locate the short. His analysis pointed further toward a voltage drain on the system by the thermostat. Thermostat replaced. He left leaving no doubt whatsoever of his technical understanding and appreciation of the technology. He clearly had done his homework, and was quite pleasant and cordial. Again, finding and trouble-shooting were the main components of this job. He did very well by us. I will ask for this service again when needed.

After purchasing a rental property in May with a 5 yr. old Goodman unit the tenant informed me that it had not cooled properly for two years and needed freon every couple of months and even then it did not cool. I called in three A/C technicians over a one month period and even though the parts were under warrantee it cost over $1,500 for labor. 8 days after having a fan motor (479.00) installed the entire outside unit burned out. The same guy now wanted $ 1,300. In labor costs to replace it. That's when I did what I should have done in the beginning - I went to Angie's list! I called Scott because he had all A's, was local and I liked his picture logo. Looks just like him. It's a rather new small company and stands out from all the rest as far as honesty, cost, courtesy and dependability. Cliff came out the same day to check the problem and was in agreement that the outside unit had burned out. Scott called that evening and was more than willing to replace the outside unit for 500.00 less than the previous guy. He never suggested installing a new unit until I mentioned it was what I wanted and he explained in detail the pros and cons of repairing and replacing. There was no sales pitch. He pulled a permit and came the next day at 11:00 and finished up around 3:00: it poured rain while he and one of his men worked outside but there was always a ready smile on his face and the rain did not hold them up. If you want the best of the best call Scott. I can't say enough good things about this company. Really nice guy!! I will recommend him to all my friends and associates. Companies like this are few and far between.

Seriously the best most HONEST hardworking guys!!!! They aren't huge and really value every customer!!! I know b/c I have three kids and had the ac go out in July on a Sunday afternoon! They were there the next day and the problem was fixed before noon!!! We are repeat customers having used them consistently for the last four years!!!!!! Sign up for their service contract and they will call you and check your AC every six months... And they will be honest with you about what you HAVE to fix and what can wait. Do not go to the "big companies" out there and think you are getting a better deal or better service you are NOT!!! We bought a brand new outside unit from them a couple of years ago and compared them to a couple of other companies ... they were the cheapest and the most knowledgable. Our neighbors bought one about six months before us ... they have had nothing but problems and morons that can't fix it... they bought from one of the biggest companies in the area!!! Scott and his guys really are the best!

Scott's crew is awesome! My AC was leaking and Phil came out to give me an estimate. He cleaned out the line and explained to me why I needed to have it replaced. A week later I was able to have the line replaced at the exact cost of my estimate. The guys are great, prompt and extremely professional. I will only to go to Scott's for my AC/Heat needs

Had heat and ac changed out from a 25 year plus unit to a new unit. Unit was working but needed some minor repairs. I did not want to put money into such an old unit and did not want to risk a total failure this summer, so I decided to get a new unit before the summer rush. It has been a great investment with lower electric bill and peace of mind with staying cool. Scott and his guys were great to work with and did a great job. Very honest and hardworking. I did not get any other quotes but I feel I recieved a good deal . I based my decision to use Scott's from personal references, followed up by Angie's List references all of which came highly recommended. Thanks Angie's List!

Fabulous service - Ryland was my service technician - very kind and professional - didn't take long to diagnose the problem which did turn out to be the capacitor - not only did he have the part on his truck, he also installed it on a Saturday morning . . . bonus! the bill was less than 1/2 of what the competitor company charged me last year for the exact same work! So glad I found Scott's Air - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I submitted an online request for service on a Saturday night, they returned my call Sunday evening and had the tech out on Monday (Memorial Day). I didn't expected a call back until Tuesday at the earliest figuring in the weekend and holiday. The tech arrived earlier than expected (not a bad thing!) and was very professional and informative. The A/C was up and running again before he left. I will definitely use Scott's Heating and Air again in the future.

Scott was very courteous, and always arrived early or on time-never late, and really took his time to address the questions and concerns of my husband and I. And he was happy to go over as many different quotes for new systems that we asked about, and he patiently explained the differences between each system and seer rating, etc. He also helped us find a great system within our budget, and offered great financing options, too, if we had wanted to finance the system interest free for 12 months. Also, Scott and his wife run the business, so it's awesome that it is family owned, and Scott use to serve in the Navy as well before starting his own business, which seems to account for his punctuality and attention to detail. Our new system could be installed right away, and Scott pulled all necessary permits to begin the install. Scott and the gentleman who helped him install our new system, I believe his name was Cliff, both did an outstanding job, and they started on the job early, to help free up as much time of my day as possible. My only big regret was not calling Scott sooner! Our new Bryant system they installed looks great, and even though it's not their top of the line model, it's remarkably quiet, and runs wonderfully. And rather than hit us with any bad surprises of increased charges or delayed appointments, Scott surprised us with an even better system than we were supposed to get; the one he brought on installation day was even a little higher in the seer rating, and had all aluminum coils- an upgrade that many companies wanted to charge us a fortune extra for. And Scott didn't try to sell us on what I have researched and found to be the repair-prone brands of Goodman and Amana, which were actually more expensive from the other companies I had quotes from, than the Bryant (carrier) brand that we decided to buy. Out of the 4-5 AC companies my husband and I have worked with, none even come close to the incredible professionalism, and great service at a surprisingly great value that Scott's AC company provides it's customers. I very very very HIGHLY recommend them, and they will definitely be my family's AC go-to company for many years to come!

It was great! I called on a Saturday at 4:30 in the afternoon on the weekend before Christmas. I did not expect to be able to get service until Monday or Wednesday after Christmas. To my surprise, when I called, the person said he would check to see what he could do and would call me back. He called me right back and said he could send someone out TODAY! The technician was there before 6:00 and was very professional. Within a short time, I had my A/C up and running again. Couldn't ask for better than that.

They not only replaced thermostat but checked entire system afterwards. Went outside checked a/c unit then checked to make sure heat as well as air was working with new thermostat. Did all of this in 48minutes. I cannot say enough good things about service absolutely perfect.

Duke Energy came out and double checked his work and they said it looked good. So far, I haven't had any problems at all since the work was completed. He installed a filter that is supposed to be better than others (especially for allergies) and I don't see any difference, but that is my personal opinion.

Scott arrived on Thursday and diagnosed the problem was a bad compressor. I had originally turned in a service call to my warranty company and they couldn't have anyone out until Saturday. In addition they were sending a company that was rated very poorly on Angie's List. Scott replaced the unit on Friday and found a part that caused the compressor to go bad to begin with. He fixed that on Saturday. Excellent job and super easy to work with.

When we called Scott about our AC being out he responded promptly and immediately diagnosed the problem. On the day of the appointment he arrived on time and completed the work in a timely fashion. He was very professional. All phone calls were answered or returned without delay. We would definitely recommend him.

Upon arrival he went straight to work with installing the system that we agreed upon. He explained all the features of our new unit as he worked and after he was done. Scott's systematic approach is not only efficient but friendly. He made sure that we were comfortable with everything before leaving us for the day. One of the cleanest companies to come and work for us. Not only did he lay down a tarp to protect our floors but also cleaned up all the mess that was made from the removal of the old system and the installation of the new. I would happily recommend Scott's Heating and Air Conditioning. It's a business like Scott's that make me happy to do upgrades on my home. It was a WONDERFUL experience. Frankly, Scott is the guy you want to handle all of your heating and A/C needs. I called him at the end of the day(8pm) when our renters told us the unit wasn't cooling and he was out the next day in the pouring rain and found a simple, easy fix. We found Scott years ago when he worked for a "Big Name" company here in Orlando and after our first meeting with him starting requesting him specifically whenever we called that company. We were so happy to see that he started his own business and I have sent no less than 3 of my friends/neighbors to him and he does all the work on our personal home, as well as the rental. He always keeps you updated about where he is throughout the day so you are not left hanging around the house waiting for 5 hours and he fixes everything right the first time. Scott's knowledge is impressive, but the way he is able to tell you what is wrong in a way that we can understand is REALLY helpful. On one of the visits to our home we needed special sized filters and Scott offered to purchase a box for us and delivered them to our house a couple weeks later after they came in. The biggest thing I can say about Scott is that he is honest. If it is a little fix or if he can do something to fix it temporarily until you can afford more, he'll do it. We have never had to question that what Scott says or recommends is the honest truth and it is always such a weight off our shoulders to know that we aren't being taken to the cleaners like so many other A/C guys will do.
