My experience with Scott's was nothing short of perfect! The office team was on top of calling me to schedule my appointment (signed up for the service via Angie's List so that required the Scott's team to reach out to me to book the appt) and Kris the technician was thorough and amazing about moving in and out of the house almost like a ghost. It's like we hardly knew he was there! He also did a great job of explaining what he had done as a part of the check up and went through additional services that I could benefit from without being a pushy sales guy. Which was awesome!! One of the coolest things was that a potential buyer for my home knew I had done a check up of the system and they actually called Scott's to ask about how it had gone and to try and get details about my AC. Victoria in the office made ALL the right decisions - she did NOT return their call but instead called me to let me know what had happened and that their company would never disclose information about my system to anyone other than me. Way to go Victoria! That display of consideration for my privacy, on top of all the other great experiences I had with Scott's, has me touting this company to anyone that will listen. Scott's is the only AC company I will ever use from here on out. They are the gold standard of air conditioning and heating services!!!

Cliff Parkinson was a very knowledgeable and profesional technician. Worked fast and acurate with a great attitude. Will defenetly hire again.

Eli, Jose, David and George did a great job. Very professional, organized and instilled confidence. They were thoughtful enough to wear plastic footies to not track dirt all over the house. Always closed the door when making a quick run to the service truck (sometimes it's the little things that count). Excellent job guys!

The technician Cliff arrived at 10:36 pm. Cliff quickly went to work on the issue. He took the time to check everything and explain what he was doing as he went along. He spent time with the unit inside to check of the short was there and then spent quite some time with the outside unit. He found a short at the A/C unit outside that blew the fuse inside. It is now around midnight and he fixed the short and was finalizing that everything was in running order. He confirmed the unit outside and inside was running with out a hitch. He then went to charge the unit to start cooling. It started cooling and the degrees were dropping. About 15 minutes later Cliff was finishing up and the A/C unit panel went out again. Cliff came back in and did not give up. He took the time to run through everything again. He found the flood switch is what turned of the unit and cleared the line to allow for it to drain. It is 1:30am and Cliff completed more than I could ever have expected. I recommend Cliff in turn recommend Scott's Heating & Conditioning as they seem to have truly caring associates that take care of the customer.

Great! The office staff was great as well as the owner, he called me and explained everything in detail. I got an excellent unit at a great price. The installers, George and John, were here on time and worked all day. Courteous and respectful, left everything clean and changed some things that were not done correctly with my other unit. They explained everything in detail. AC is working! Thanks to Scott and staff.

Great now we have cool A/C, great experience.

They were very good they were on time

The company called me the same day to arrange service. When the technician came out he was very friendly and explain everything he was doing, and showed me the parts he recommended be replaced and why(2 capacitors). He was very clean during the entire process and left no mess at all when he left. I ended up buying a yearly maintenance agreement and had them do a cleaning treatment for my system.

They were on time (a minute early I jokingly told them). Worked efficiently all day. They kept all areas clear throughout the install. Both were glad to answer any questions I had. They went over the system with me incl the thermostat when they were done. They hauled away everything and actually left the place cleaner than when they got there. I was impressed with the owner when he came to give me a quote. You can tell they truly are a part of the community and their employees embody that attitude as well.

they came and charged us over $300 to replace something and the noise was still coming from the unit - called them back, they came and said additional repairs were needed and that it would be an additional $600+ - I called the office and voiced my concerns, that the first time the issue wasn't solved for over $300 and now they wanted to charge us an additional $600+ - the office person said she would have the owner call us - he never called - I will never do business with them again

The owner, Scott, showed up the day after we called. He was thorough and professional, offering advice for increasing the efficiency of my existing units that wouldn't cost any $. He probably could have sold me a new unit for our downstairs also, but he's an honest guy and recommended we only replace the old unit at first and see how it went. They showed up the next week for installation. The two installers were on time, and worked extremely hard (taking only a 10 minute lunch) to complete the installation in one day. The unit is working great, and my daughter is happy she can sleep in cool temperatures upstairs again. I highly recommend this company. Class act.

The request for installation was on short notice as I needed someone out asap to do the install and the service manager Cliff quoted me a fair price and the receptionist Lucy was able to fit us in for the install that afternoon and sent Marvin to do the job. The service tech Marvin did a great job installing our new window a/c unit! The job ended up being a lot harder than expected, which resulted in Marvin needing to get more materials from Home Depot to seal the window a/c properly. It was a pleasure having Marvin in our home and I would do business with Scott's Heating & Air Conditioning again.

Every aspect of this project from reviewing their website, to making an appointment for an estimate by the owner, Scott, and to completion of the project was outstanding and done in a very professional way! Bryant was good to me in the past so I wanted to stay with Bryant. I chose Scott because he is a Bryant Dealer, and from the results, I know I made the right decision. Thank you Scott and your team!

The technician was really nice. He explained the trouble and what the fix was. He was professional and really fast. There has been no issues since.

Cliff from Scott?s Heating & Air-Conditioning arrived on time. He was professional, courteous and informative, taking time to listen and to explain. My appointment was for a ?Diagnostic?, and service if needed. I set the appointment to see if they could fix the mildewy, musty, moldy smell circulating in my home. This smell had been increasing for a matter of months and nothing I'd done to date had resolved it. After finding "accumulation" - which he showed to me - he explained my options and the cost of each. I selected an air purification system . At my request, after installing the Air Knight air purification system on my AC, he separately, and as a courtesy, showed me how to do regular maintenance on the AC drain with alcohol and hot water and he discovered that the AC drain was not responding properly. He stayed, installed a vent, cleaned the drain from outside the house and made sure all was working properly before leaving at almost 9pm, (4 1/2 hours in total). This kind of customer service is exceptional. Cliff is an employee that goes beyond what is required. Because of this kind of customer care I will continue to use Scott?s Heating & Air -Conditioning in the future. It has been 24 hours, and although the mildewy musty smell is not yet gone, it has cleared somewhat.

First let me start with we did our homework. We received 5 estimates for a new A/C system for our home before we chose Scotts Heating and A/C . Scott the owner came to the home with his sales manager and did a thorough inspection of our home and the needs for our replacement. A written quote sheet with 3 options was given to us with a clear description of each unit for the price range. So we called on a Wednesday to schedule our install, which was planned for the following Tuesday. The very next day our 25 year old unit started to drip water and run continuously on and off. I called Scotts at 8am and they had a technician, Brian at the house by 11am and they live an hour away. Brian's goal was to keep us up an running till Tuesday install. he was here an hour and a half approximately, he cleaned the system completely and took pictures to send back to Scott to address the platform condition prior to install and to make sure we had a new platform. Could not have been more pleased and there was no additional expense for the service call. Tuesday install day, Elias and Jose arrived a few minutes early and set to work with my husband here at the home. They gave continuous updates of the status of the install to my husband and could not have been more courteous and professional the entire day they were at our home. Always opened a door and called out to my husband before entering the home. Cleaned and swept all work areas prior to leaving and made sure we had a clear understanding of our unit before they left for the day. In closing, I can not leave out the office staff that coordinated our install and emergency service, they were kind, professional and knew what they were doing every step of the way. Terrible. I went with Scott's because of their higher priced offer for the same work as other contractors, thinking that you usually get what you pay for and it would be better. I found out that this was not the case. The technician did not do the "20 point" service as advertised. He didn't calibrate my thermostat, check the ductwork, or do half of the 20 items listed. He mainly flushed the drain and checked the refrigerant level. He said the level was a little low (about a pound out of ten) and it would be extra cost ($80 a lb.), but optional if I wanted him to top it off. I asked him if it was critical, he said it just wouldn't be as cold. I don't keep my house cooler than 80 degrees so I declined. I went on vacation and came back to the AC not working at all. I called them and they came back. The same technician said " I told you it needed refrigerant, I wrote that down to cover my a- -". I reminded him that he said it wasn't critical and it was just slightly low and asked if I could purchase the refrigerant now. He said I would have to pay for the refrigerant, but would NOT be charged a service call fee because I had 30 days from the service date to add the refrigerant. I told him okay, to go ahead and add it. Then it started raining. He said he couldn't add refrigerant in the rain, so he called his office to have them reschedule. After he set up a time and date, he said "oh, they said I have to also charge you an additional "diagnostic fee" now". I asked why and how much? He said $79, because I told you that you needed refrigerant before and you declined it. I thought that sounded ridiculous so I called his office to speak to customer service agent "Lucy", All she did was argue with me about the problem being caused by my refusal to let him add refrigerant. I didn't REFUSE to let him add it. He didn't make it sound like it was even necessary at this time. Plus he said I had 30 days to add it! I asked to speak to a supervisor. She said Scott was on the other line and he'd call me back. Scott didn't call me back. I received a call back from the service manager, who also proceeded to argue with me and said they have no such 30 day policy. I asked him if they could just waive the added diagnostic fee (which I still don't know what it is for), but he refused. I told him I was not satisfied with this and was going to leave a negative review on Angie's List.. He said, "that's illegal to threaten me like that". I said I'm not threatening you, I'm letting you know I'm leaving a completely honest review which will be negative because I am not satisfied at all with Scott's service. He continued to argue so I said have a good day and I hung up the phone as he was still arguing over top of me talking. They have no clue as to the definition of customer service. Do yourself a huge favor...DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They are beyond ridiculous!

He checked the inside air conditioning unit performing maintenance check on the blower, the thermostat, any leakage, checked the compressor outside. Cleaned and flushed drain pan and line. Check the heat strips, ampere draw, refigerant pressures, super heat and sub cooling. Check air filters, rinsed condenser coils. He noted that the air conditioning unit is old, original with building of the house 25 years ago, and that we may not want to continuing investing more money than necessary, and plan for eventually buying a new unit, that is more efficient in energy use. Next time we need a maintenance check, we will request that Cliff, who came this time, be sent again. He took the time to explain everything and give suggestions. He was excellent ! When a maintenance / repair person is courteous and takes the time to explain and answer questions, that instills confidence and appreciation in the customer. We will use Scott's Heating and Air Conditioning Service next time. Wish all maintenance and repair people were like him.

We were having problems with our old AC unit and called Scott’s Heating and Air Conditioning Company out for service. We had used them several times in the past and were always happy with their work. After talking to Scott about the age and condition of the old unit we decided to replace the old system in our home with a new one. They were able to schedule us very quickly for the installation which was completed in one day. We were impressed with how prompt, polite and professional the installers were and how neat they left the job site. Even though the work space was tight the installers did an excellent job. Scott made sure that all issues were addressed to our satisfaction. Our calls were answered promptly and the office staff followed through to make sure that everything was taken care of. Scott, the technicians and the office staff were all great. We found Scott’s Air to be a very high quality and reliable company. We would recommend Scott’s Air to anyone needing a new AC system or service.

Scott's was great. From the visit for an estimate to the completion of the installation, everyone was professional, friendly and thorough. The suggestions for replacement units were within our budget range and Scott was frank regarding the benefits of each. Installation was on one of the hottest days this year and the crew just kept going; despite the unexpected issue of removing a small shrub and its roots! Once explained that my husband was working from home, the crew always alerted us as to when things would get loud and noisy. Cleanup was the best we've encountered and that says a lot. We highly recommend this company!
