Description of Work: I have an older car ('94 Cadillac Deville) that had a windshield ding that decided to start "growing". Safelite contacted my insurance company, verified my coverage and came to my house and replaced the windshield - which cracked as installer finished. I did have to wait 3 days for replacement (sealer had to dry completely before removing?) but car was safe to drive. As promised installer arrived as scheduled to begin 2nd replacement,shortly thereafter he knocked on my door with an apologetic look on his face. He explained that because the car's windshield is so large they are easily damaged. He had checked the replacement and found it had damage. He had already called the office and another installer was on the way with another windshield. Third time was the charm. Windshield installed securely with no more problems. All the installers arrived as scheduled, calling ahead to confirm, were polite, efficient and professional...and I didn't have to leave home to get the work done!

Description of Work: My husband’s car window had been smashed by a cat burglar this past summer (2015). Safelite came out and did the repair on a weekend. In January, his windshield cracked from the cold and the crack grew a little more each cold night. Safelite repaired that too and that one was covered by our car insurance.
