The work turned out well. He called almost immediately after I purchased the Big Deal and we were able to schedule the appointment quickly. The owner came out to complete the work. I would recommend him to others.

They pulled out our refrigerator and we had cat hair behind the fridge. The technician turned out to be allergic and didn't have a vacuum at the time. Additionally they left without cleaning up and we had to clean up after them. They were extremely nice but seemed unprepared for the circumstance of the job.

He worked in extremely warm circumstances and did not try to charge for parts not required.

They were prompt and helpful. We actually hired them to complete a lot more work than we planned on having them do. We are very pleased with them. We would recommend them very highly.

Quality Performance Service is a highly professional organization. Libardo arrived on schedule the same day I called, repaired my A/C unit and showed me how to provide timely maintenance. He was very courteous and took the time to explain what he was doing. Why does trouble always happen on the weekend? I went to our top-of-the-line refrigerator for an ice cream and found it to be a molten mass of chocolate, thereby discovering the unit wasn't cooling despite all the lights and buttons working. So who do you call on a Saturay afternooon while all your frozen food is melting away? Looked in the Yellow pages and found a few ads offering emergency calls, but upon cross checking them on Angies List found they were rated C and D. However I found that Quality Peformance Services was listed since 2010 but had no reviews in the past three years. So I called them and got an immediate human voice answering (not phone mail as experienced on some previous attempts to handymen that we used in the past). Spoke with Livardo who said he could come right over soon as he finished the job he was on. Sure enough, he arrived with his helper in less than hour! He spent another hour taking every conceivable test before finally confirming what we all had suspected and feared -- the electronic motherboard was kaput and our 12 year-old GE Profile refrigerator had died. Knowing from experience with other high-tech electronic appliances that these control boards are very costly, and that the part couldn't be ordered until Monday and must be then shipped from the factory so that we wouldn't have it arrive for another 5 days at best, we quickly decided to let the doctor sew the patient up and go out the next day to buy a new fridge. Livordo put everything back together, wiped up the now wet kitchen floor, and packed up his tools. Seeing this I realized he wasn't going to charge for his service call (or travel time for that matter) which he confirmed by stating that his "estimates are free." I managed to slip him a twenty for "gas money" and assured him that he would be the first we would call when/if we have another appliance problem. It is so encouraging to find an honest hard-working repairman these days who has the decency to not take advantage of folks who find themselves in a difficult situation. He certainly deserves this commendation (and recommendation).
