Dear member, I have attempted to reach out to you about your review a couple times and unfortunately have not had any success. We do appreciate your taking the time to review our company and realize that you gave us an average grade. Anytime we are reviewed below a B, we try our hardest to reach out to the customer to look for areas of improvement. To clarify a couple things from your call, we actually serviced a rental property for you on Saturday, May 23rd 2015. The initial call came into our office around 1:00 pm and we were at your job site at 4:30 pm it appears. I am sorry that we were not as prompt enough to earn an A, but for a Saturday in the middle of Summer, a 3 to 4 hour response time is actually pretty good in our industry. Upon arrival, we actually found a thermostat was hanging on the wall that the tenants tried to fix themselves. There was also a blown low voltage fuse on the system. The thermostat was actually blank due to a float switch being tripped due to the drain line being backed up. So our tech reinstalled the thermostat, installed a new low voltage fuse, and cleared your drain line, and the total was $277.00 which included a $79.00 diagnostic fee, he gave you the 10% Angie's List Discount from the magazine, and the total that was charged was $249.30. He also noted that the indoor coil assembly was extremely dirty, and the blower wheel was extremely dirty and recommended pulling both and cleaning them. (This is normally caused by poor filtration or no filtration usage at times.) I think for the amount of work done, on a Saturday emergency call, and we got your tenants system back up and running. I think we did the right thing on this call and gave you credible recommendation to prevent future repairs and lower utility usage. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further with you, and I am sorry we didn't earn an A or B from you that day! But, I wanted future Angie's List customers to know that we didn't charge you $250 to come out and change a filter.
