He did very well. We were happy with his work and his work was very correct. The price was about right. It wasn't cheap but sometimes you have to pay a little more to get good service. It was well done and the air conditioning is still working. He came on time and did the job. It was a very nice experience. The quality was good. It was nice work. He was responsive and business-like. He was punctual and professional. We would use him again.

I was very happy with my interactions with ServiceOne. I did an extensive amount of research and received a number of proposals. Billy kindly accomodated about 40 minutes of questions from me post his proposal as I reviewed all the options I had. I performed the same interview of a number of providers, and Billy stood out the most. The installation was a pleasure. The 2 installers were professional and nice. It did take the whole day and they performed the work during a 90+ degree day (outside, so hotter in the attic). They did leave that day without installing a filter on the air handler and came back 4 days later, but the service was impeccable outside of that.

Our A/C broke within the first month of moving into our new (and first) home. The house came with a home warranty, but I didn't want to deal with those scam artists and the patch job they would likely do, and so we decided it would be better to get a brand new, energy efficient system installed. So soon after moving in, and never having had to deal with such a large appliance purchase, I had to start from scratch and act pretty fast and was getting a quite overwhelmed pretty fast. Nevertheless, I took the time to get 5 companies to come to my house. The owner Billy Gouty was the last one I had come out. I had asked him to do a heat load calculation. (Only one other competitor had done that on their own - coming up with different results and actually never sending a quote). Billy did the calculation using software, not just the short form. After getting Billy's estimate, I compared several quotes. With A/C, it's very important to pick the company based on their installation skills, just as much or maybe more so than the brand of equipment. I eliminated the cheapo offers right away; they didn't seem credible. I also eliminated the "big guys" with the "sales pitch." Billy's price was relatively high, though not the highest. He also adamantly recommended Trane equipment. Billy was extremely patient with all my questions. I don't think other customers ask so many questions or read as much as I did about A/C. It's a huge topic if you really get into it. Since it can't be returned like a TV if you don't like it, I wanted to make the best decision I could. I think Billy must have spent a couple hours on the phone with me, to the point where I thought, surely must be losing his cool at some point - but to his great credit, he never did! So I picked him because he was not the lone operator working from a garage, nor the huge impersonal company where you don't know the owner or who they will send out to you. Once I had made up my mind going with Billy as my install company, it was down to brand and cost. Many sales people said brand doesn't matter, that they are all the same. But in the end I trusted Billy that in his experience Trane is indeed better. So I decided to go "all out" and get this brand and not choosing the basic models but upgraded (not top level, but high end for my budget). I hope this was a good decision for longevity of the equipment and for energy savings. I won't know for a while, obviously. Price-wise, I unfortunately was not able to get Billy to give me any additional breaks in the cost (I was hoping for the Angie's list discount, but that is only valid for service, not installation, apparently). This is probably a sign that he is very busy and doesn't need to to negotiate to get business. In the end, I probably spent at least $1000 more than I could have with other companies or brands. Now I just simply hope this money was indeed well spent as an investment. So far, this seems to be the case. During the installation, I was really involved, maybe too much, so from what I understand they did the best they could It took two guys about 8 hours, they blocked the whole day just for me. The heat pump (condenser) is exceptionally quiet. Everything runs well as far as I can tell. The company offered extras such as an inspection of the installation by a field supervisor, a free follow up maintenance visit in one year, and an additional year of labor warranty. They also filed all the paperwork for the permit, rebates and warranty registration. If I would have one immediate complaint, it is a small one ... but it would be a nice touch if the first filter for the air handler was included when they install the system. It's an odd size not found at local stores and putting in an expensive system of $5k+, which needs a filter to protect it from day one, and not bringing such a filter on the install visit struck me as a little weird. I had to order one online and so the system was unprotected for a few days. This may be standard practice, in the industry, I don't know.... but it would be nice touch to have *everything* complete upon installation. Overall, I would recommend ServiceOne if you are looking for a small, owner-operated company with qualified installers. I plan on using them for future service and also for future installations (I have a second system downstairs) if it pans out as true that the recommended equipment is great, saves me money long term, and I don't encounter problems. I should mention also that the county inspector mentioned he has never seen problems with installs from this company. Thanks Billy for the time you spent with me. About a week ago, I called to schedule the maintenance visit. The person who took my call was very polite, friendly and efficient and she scheduled the visit to meet my convenience. The serviceman,Charles, arrived about a half hour late for the appointment. (This was the only, mildly, negative aspect of his visit.) He was exceptionally capable, conscientious and courteous. I have never had such a thorough maintenance visit and he patiently explained the things he was looking for, what he found, and what my options were. I rarely write these evaluations, but he was so outstanding that I feel compelled to give him him the credit he deserves. I certainly would recommend ServiceOne.

Great! Technician was clean, friendly and on time! Spent 2 hours checking a/c unit interior and exterior. Cleaned everything inside and out on units as well. Was relieved to know that my unit is actually in good shape despite being 20 years old! Whew! I will definitely use this company again!

I liked that the owner seemed to value good service. The workers were courteous, contentious, and did their work. They are a good company to go with. I would recommend them. When I called them, I actually got someone and not an answering machine. They showed up on time too.

The response time was very impressive. I would definitely use them again & recommend them to friends & family. They were in and out with quickly. I had a different comany in 3 days before and said they made an adjustment and that it should work fine and it did not.

I had used them previously. It was a positive experience. They had to reschedule because they were running late. It was the first really hot day and they were very busy.

Office called ahead to let us know that Chris was on the way. He showed up promptly and found the problem in a matter of minutes. It was a blown starting cacpacitor. Chris had the replacement part in his truck and had us up and running quickly. He then checked out the system and the air handler for any other problems. He left the area clean and functioning as required.

The service men have been friendly and helpful. They're also punctual, which I especially appreciate. The work hasn't been completed yet, but I see it working out very well.

I had expected to have a bad transformer (Told this by friends),also that a repair would be about $300 or more... I had a big air company, (_ _ _ _ ) out 1 1/2 years who said the system needed to be totally replaced. So I was"nt going to them again. After calling a few companies I decided on Serviceone. They were the nicest on the phone, and had a reasonable service fee. They showed up the next day. Jerry inspected the unit ,explained what was going on,made a few adjustments and was done. He spent about 40 minuets doing his job. turned out my unit is o.k. He suggested that I have it really cleaned well, which I will do with them. I really expected the worst ,but ended up with a great company,and and faith that there are still honest people out there.

Owner Bill Gouty was very paitent, gave various quotes and had several discussions on the differerent types of Heat Pumps / AC uints. Looking at the service plans, warranties and the efficiencies of each of the units we asked many questions and even had other quotes before making our decision. We could have gone with the lowest price unit but wanted something which was built to last. We believe we found the unit which will serve us well with many years to come and hopefully it will also lower our existing electric bills being a more efficient system. We will recieve several rebates from the manufacturer, the electric company and tax bennefits from the unit we sellected which will come off the price listed. Once we had made up our mind on Monday which system was best for us the owner stated his team had no job slated for Tuesday and could begin around 9AM. We agreed and the 2 employees from Service One bought all the equipment and arrived about 9:15AM and began working in removal of the old system and installed the new system all in the same day. When they completed the installation they ran the new Heat Pump / AC system through its different cycles verifing everything was in working order. The technician then reviewed each piece of hardware and new temperature and humidity controlled thermostat with me. He and the other Technician asked if I had any questions on the unit and then thourghly cleaned up the area both inside and out leaving the area better than they found it. Thank you Bill and your team. We plan to continue having Bill and his Service One employees maintain our system with the yearly service contract to keep our system in tune and running effeciently for years to come.

The phone representative was courteous and clear about the fee for a service call. She called me back to say the service rep was able to arrive earlier than the original estimated time. The rep was polite and efficient and was able to explain exactly what needed fixing. I will be calling this company when it is time to replace my HVAC.

They did an excellent job. They were very professional, got right to work. They took out the old air handler and showed me what they were doing at various times so I could see the work the builder had done when the unit was installed 9 years ago. They would explain what they were doing. They installed the copper lines, the new drain pipe, built the handler area up, gave me a new concrete pad for the unit outside, etc. They also installed a new digital thermometer and showed us how to program it. The guys installing the unit were wonderful and cleaned up everything afterwards. They were very meticulous to detail. I like that they come back before the year is up to check the unit and make sure that everything is working properly so that it will still be covered under warranty. They don't want something happening 1 year and 1 week later that I would have to pay for. All in all, a very pleasant, clean experience and the system works great.

Orginally, a time range was given for appointment, but then company called a day before and gave a precise time for the appointment. Repairman was on time, very polite, and reasonably priced for the work performed. This is the second year I have used services and was pleased both times.

THE WORK THAT WAS DONE WAS EXCELLENT. NOT ONLY WERE THE INSTALLERS PROMPT, THE OWNER PERSONALLY CAME OUT TO THE JOB SITE BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER TO MAKE SURE THE JOB WAS COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION. THERE WAS A GLITCH, DUE TO NO FAULT OF THE COMPANY'S, AND THEY UPGRADED MY SYSTEM AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.
