We liked them very much. It's the second time they have done something for us. They are on time, very professional, know their business, are reliable, and very fair and honest with what they say and do. We will use them again.

First of all I contacted Service One AIr condition company after reading such great reviews on Angie's List. I Called them for advice on an A/C problem my parents were having. I spoke to Dan who offered to send a man out to inspect the problem at no charge to make sure my parents ere not being ripped off a previous inspection by another company. John came out to their home and agreed with the 1st companies diagnoisis of a leak in the evaporator coil. My parents really liked John and wanted him to be the one to do the repair so they got a sale out of the complimentary visit. I used the coupon special to have my A/C tuned up and John came to my home the following week and did the tune up as we'll as show me in detail all the things he found that may be a problem in the future. Our system is 17 yrs old so I know it doesn't have much time left in it. He did not push any thing on us but was very knowledgeable in explaining what problems he foresees.

Went really well. Learn lots on how to make my AC unit more efficient. Coolant was also need. Over six gallons with was costly. $300. But had great faith in Anthony and know it was a much need cost to the overall life span on the unit. Thank you Anthony!

John, the AC rep, was very professional. He checked out our system, and replaced the AC condenser. He also noted a couple of things that are stressing the system and that the system is 17 years old. He brought in the old part to show me it had blown out. He suggested we start to think of replacing our system, which I fully expected him to say. But, the fact of the matter is that it is old and it probably does need to be replaced. He said he could not predict how long the AC system would last because it is like an old car when it goes sometimes it just goes and has to be replaced. He said it could bring us through the summer or not it was really a crap shoot. I really liked John and felt he was not just trying to sell us a system. I will use them again.

They handled both very well including getting a new light under warranty despite it being installed by a different company.

The service went fine. He showed up on time and performed the work that needed to be done. He did not push anything additional on me and didn't try to get me to buy anything extra. My only complaint was with the woman who answered the phone. She was not listening to me at all. She would simply say 'yes' every once in a while, but wasn't hearing me. The last time we took advantage of this Big Deal, a technician named Jorge came out and worked on our systems. He was fantastic and I wanted him to come out again this time. I asked if he was available to come out on the date that worked best for us and she said yes. I scheduled the appointment and before we hung up I confirmed the date, time and that it would be Jorge coming. She again said yes and that was that. I was a bit surprised that when the day arrived Jason showed up! Don't get me wrong, I had no problem with Jason, but I had specifically asked for Jorge and confirmed twice that he would be coming. Seemed like a simple request that could have been honored, but like I said, it was obvious throughout the entire phone call that she only half listening to me. The grade of 'C' that I gave for responsiveness above is because of this and nothing that the technician did.

When I phoned for a service call I informed them that the unit was in my attic and was accessed through an opening outside. After the repairman agreed that there was an odor coming through the vents he went outside and said someone from the office would call me to schedule for someone to come out and go up there and determine what needed to be done. (Spray the coils or remove them to clean them). I never heard back from them. I don't think that I should have been charged $79 dollars for someone to come out and agree with me that there is an odor coming through the vents when the ac is on. Also they said the estimate could be anywhere from $259 to $1000 dollars to clean the coils on my air conditioning unit which is less than 5 years old.

It went fine. They came out right away as soon as we needed them to come. I paid more than the big deal purchase. It's only because we got some extra stuf done. They were trustworthy, reliable and they did a great job.

I felt like they were fishing for other business. Didn't feel they were helpful.

Informative and professional. Returned in the fall for heating season inspection and cleaning . Found the misalignment on cover was seriously affecting heating. Should save us some money.

went well, tech were trying really hard to upsell new unit or other services which was annoying, however I guest that's the gig on a "tune-up"

George arrived on time with all of the parts needed to do the job. I purchased the &49.00 tuneup package from Angies List. My unit is 12 years old and needed a new pole contactor which he replaced. I also needed a new Ian side capacitor but I have a home warranty, so when it stops working, I will have a company from their network do the repair work that needs to be done. I have had many other companies do tuneups on my AC unit, but George was the best so far. When I have to replace my unit, I will definitely call ServiceOne, they seem to be fair and easy to work with.

The team arrived on time the day of installation and was completed on the same day. They also had to replace the entire box beneath the unit which was agreed to only verbally and not written in the contract, but as agreed, they replaced it. They also sealed the entire unit into its new home providing what I would refer to as a quality job well done. Being a stickler for detail, I also had them replace the intake duct vent with a larger size to that allowed for the system to run more efficiently. It also included a filter slot which is the better of the two locations to have the filter not to mention they were able to get me a routinely available sized unit for filters that are available at Home Depot, Lowes etc... Thanks again to Nick Barker and his team for the quality work and the dedication to the fine details noting I would recommend them again.

Overall, the service was OK, but when I learned that i was charged 198 for a part that costs less than 30, I was very much disappointed. Reasonable markup is one thing; 600% is a bit high.

They were great. They were so professional, so on time, got the job done on time, were very clean, and it was awesome. They work within your budget, they're A-rated, they're very professional, very on time, and just really pleasant to work with. We had to have new ducts put in and they took care of all of that.

It may be a slow time of the year for the HVAC businesses, but I was still impressed that I had my choice of appointments on Wed, Thu or Fri after calling for routine service on Monday. On Thursday, I called at the beginning of my appointment window to see if I could narrow down the tech's arrival time (I had an errand I wanted to run) and was given the opportunity to reschedule same day a little later so I could run my errand first. Joey, the technician, arrived dead center in the 1 hour window I was given and did a wonderful job. He inspected, he cleaned, he made suggestions, he outlined the benefits of some upsell items without being pushy and he topped off the freon in my ac units. I really can't say enough good things about Joey; don't get me wrong, I don't know him, but he did a thoroughly impressive job. Joey was professional, friendly and took his time. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

After having an AC system serviced by ServiceOne, the unit froze over again a day later. I contacted ServiceOne and was advised that the unit was a 20 year old Carrier (actually it was a Rheems) and should be replaced. Also, my power panel should be upgraded replaced (the power panel was upgraded replaced 7-2013!!). I checked the freon (noticed compressor head pressure was high), cleaned the compressor coil fins (which reduced the head pressure to a normal reading) and the condenser coil fins and the unit began operating properly.

I contacted service one because my air conditioner was no longer cooling my home. They sent a technician out the next day that showed up on time. However, he was here less than five minutes before he came in and told me that the compressor was bad and that I would need a whole new system. Air handler and outside unit; he proceeded to open his binder and tried to sell me one of two units over $9,000 and $10,000. When I started to call around while he was there his company started to drop the price, then I asked how much a new compressor would be and he said around $3000, and that if I was just going to replace the compressor I would be better off to just replace the outside unit. (An option he did not provide until I asked). Feeling pressured and the temperature cooling outside, I decided to think on it. On Monday, I received a phone call telling me after talking with his manager further they realized that I already had a 16 Seer, 5 Ton system and I could replace the compressor for $2000. At this point I felt I was getting swindled. I contacted another service who came out and stated the outside unit was showing a temperature control alarm that had nothing to do with a bad compressor and replaced 3 different other parts (that was not the compressor) and now I have a working system! So the diagnostic was incorrect that I paid $71.00 for through service one, felt extreme pressure to buy a system that would have not lower my electric bills, and that I really did not need. The A/C was from 12/06 Fair warning WATCH OUT!

It went quite well. Anthony, the technician, arrived at 10:00 am or before on Friday 11/8/13 to check over my air conditioning unit with the service pakcage I purchased for $49.95 for the 21 point a/c tune up. He cleaned the evaporator coils, checked the blower assembly, flushed and primed the drain pan and line, tested the SSI switch, inspected the electrical wiring, connections and components, measured amps., volts, temperature and pressures. System cooling and draining well. I believe Anthony was here an hr. Overall good job and I would use there service again. Anthony was courteous, friendly and professional in how he presented himself and how he did his work.

They came out within a week of purchasing the deal. They were courteous, timely and professional. The service went well! There were no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal. Everything was great and I would use them again!

It was a maintanance call and he cleaned what needed cleaning and recommended a light for inside the unit to do away with mold. I decided to wait. He was clean and courteous and did a good job.

They were very professional and nice. They told me I was going to need a new air conditioner and advised that I would end up spending more on servicing my old unit than just getting a new one. I ended up replacing the air conditioner completely.
