I purchased one of Angie's Deals for the basic alarm system. I called for installation and Dave responded immediately. We set an installation date and he was very prompt, despite driving over from the opposite coast. After looking at the house layout, we discussed where to install the motion sensors and control panel. He had the system installed and tested within half an hour. Dave then spent some time showing me how to use the system and explaining all the features, including how to add and delete users both through the control panel and online. The deal included window sensors, which were not usable with the older windows in the home, and Dave very helpfully offered to exchange for another motion sensor. The deal also included a $100 Visa gift card, which I opted to exchange for two remote controls. Dave was dedicated to making sure that I was happy with the system and the service. I could have gotten a wireless unmonitored system pretty cheaply, or I could have opted for a super expensive monitored system from ADT or Brinks. I feel this offered a middle ground that I am very comfortable with.

David called before coming out and gave a thorough evaluation of the services he was going to provide as well as asked meaningful questions in order to understand the full scope of what I wanted, what I needed, and what I could afford/budget. He was very accommodating with my schedule being so hectic and changed his plans to fit me in. Once he arrived to do his work, he was quick without rushing, efficient, and explained everything he did while he did it. He was able to use some of my existing contacts in the house and worked with me on the others that had to be replaced so that I didn't have to come out-of-pocket. When finished with the installation, he took his time to log on to the internet with me from his iPadand showed me my system and how to operate it. He also showed me the upgrades I could make in the future if decided to. I was extremely please with his work, professionalism, and of course, his price. I recommend him to anyone looking for an alarm installation that is worry free and worth every penny.

Listen to me and ALL the others that have reviewed this company - hands down, no bull - this was the BEST in-home purchase/experience that I have ever had. David is absolutely amazing,..patient, nice, knowledgeable, trustworthy, invested in his clients...I need to stop, he might get a big head! :) The system is top-notch! David went through everything! He was very clear when explaining the details and didn't spend time trying to upsell, which I certainly thought was going to happen. In the end, I did end up including the heat/smoke detector that connects to the system because when I asked questions about products that could better utilize my system, he knew his stuff! He even gave me some great advice about my fish tank (he's a fish lover!) He will be back...as soon as the new cameras that go with the system come out, I'm having one installed. I have (on Facebook and in person), and will continue to, recommend David and Radio Alarms!!!

Owner installed system because I purchased from Angst List. He was on time and professional. He explained how the system worked and was very patient until I understood everything and could use it efficiently. He called later to check on how every thing was going and if I was having any problems.

We called Radio Alarm and David Pearson the owner and installer, he call us back the same day. We made an appointment the next day for him to explain the system and what we should do. He was punctual and very patient in explaining the system and what should be added to the system. We especially like that he talked to both of us and was very patient with seniors. We like the new technology and how easy it was to use and install. We agreed to have the system installed and set a date. He was again punctual and took his time in installing the new system and very neat. He explained the operation of the new system and was very very patient. We love the new system and would highly recommend Radio Alarm.

After our second burglary we knew it was time for a security system. We took time to do research on several companies and decided on Radio Alarms. We didn't want a "do it yourself kit" and with Radio Alarms there is no chrage for installation. David is fantastic to work with. He's very professional and patient. He has a very busy business, but never rushed anything and took plenty of time to expalin & teach me to get the most out of the security system. We are completely satisfied and the experience exceeds our expectations. My husband told me yesterday "I love this system, it's so easy to use."

By nature, I research everything. I recently purchased a house a few months ago, which had a twenty year old hard wired alarm system. Due to the tremendous amount of burglaries in our area, I decided to start researching what the best deal in alarm systems are. I had a representative from ADT come to the house who tried to sell me the Pulse system for 56.00 dollars a month with an initial start up cost to of approximately $950 in equipment. The pulse equipment would mean a new panel, cellguard, and three motion sensors. I then got another quote from a local alarm company (cypress trace) which then quoted me $500 for the same system. I decided to put the whole thing on hold unitl I came across the special on Angie's list. Before I purchaed the deal, I called Dave and asked him for specifics, because I did not want to fall prey to the $99 hook ad. Dave reassured me that he would be able to deliver all that I wanted for the price advertised and I told him I would call him back. I then read all of the reviews and researched the 2GIG alarm system. There are some You Tube videos on the system that you can watch if you want to. What I love about the system are two major things. My teenagers HATE it, and it is so easy to use. You can assign each child their own code and when they arm and disarm the system, you get a text message telling which one turned the alarm off or on. You can also remotely arm and disarm the system from your phone. My one teenager told me "i guess I won't be having any parties here while your gone." I really love this system and I know this review probably sounds like a spammer from the company, I can assure you it is not. I have been a Law Enforcement Officer for fourteen years and this is the best system out their for residential use. The only critique I have is I wish I was given more window stickers.

I was very pleased with the work of David. Everything from the beginning was as it should be. He timely responded for my call, came punctual for the appointment, gave me very good offer and was very accomodating to my needs. During the installation he took the effort to check and use the existing wired switches (he had to fix few of them). Everything went fast and smooth. I am very happy and I definately recommend his services.

David arrived on time, communicated well, and did a thorough job inspecting and installing in our home. I feel we got a good price as well. I called him a couple weeks after the install with an issue and he responded quickly and talked me through the fix over the phone. I'm pleased with the service and the system. I would recommend.

I first contacted David as Angie's list had him as a top rated alarm guy in the state. When I saw his area code when he returned my call, I apologized thinking it was a computer glitch. He was located all the way across the state. He told me there was no mistake, and that he was expanding his well thought of business into the Tampa Bay area where I live. The more I spoke with him, the more confident I was that I had indeed stumbled into a very good thing, and I was indeed fortunate he picked this exact time to expand his business. I had multiple special concerns, and a special needs family member who would require certain extra protections. David assured me on the phone that his system could handle whatever requests I could throw at him. He arrived punctually, and started working on the house with his polite and pleasant son. Work finished early, so I was able to spend most of the morning, and early afternoon shadowing him. At no time did I feel rushed, or that I was in his way as he worked. He is the very definition of what my father would call a "good businessman.". Pleasant, courteous , professional, truly expert. I felt as if I could trust him with my family's security. His 30 years of expertise shone through. I had requested that he move a part of the alarm system that was in our way for a construction project we were about to undertake. Not only did he do what I requested ( with no questions asked and NO ADDED CHARGE for an hour), but then incorporated our upcoming plans for the house into the design of the alarm system. He put in upgrade after upgrade after upgrade. No additional charge. I was amazed. The current alarm system had been neglected, and was 14 years old. After replacing its brain with a supercomputer, he tested every door and window, and put in extra safety and security equipment that I hadn't even conceived of. He repaired every broken or damaged component. He restored the system to much better than new condition. It is truly a wonderful system. It has everything a technophile like me could want, but all that power and customizability hides behind an interface that my six year old could easily master. The best part was when he took his time and went over every single aspect you can image of the system, patiently answering every question I had, and pointing out a myriad of things I hadn't even thought of ( but David certainly did). What a breath of fresh air. After all was said and done, he called to make sure everything was going well, then invited me to call anytime, and offered to come by and check again in the future. You get what you pay for. I opted for a top of the line system. However, there are other options that fit every budget. I cannot say enough good things about his professionalism and know how. Some of my quotes came in lower, but I got a brand new deluxe system that really will meet my needs with David. Working with this company is an absolute pleasure. I give them my highest possible recommendation. I feel very fortunate indeed that they are now working in Tampa Bay!

From the initial estimate until the work was completed, everything was perfect. David, the company owner, is definitely a man that you can have confidence in -and- trust. I priced the do it yourself companies and found a more complete system, professionally installed, for half the price. While you do pay a little more for monthly monitoring, it does not offset the cost of the system. In addition, the discount I received from my homeowner's insurance was significant. I highly recommend Radio Alarms if you are in the market for an alarm.

Evaluated the existing system and the client wanted to continue to have all the components working for all stations but because of the age of the system they were able to design the system to become digital and they were able to retain everything that was used on the old system, radio, intercoms, alarms, etc. They were very professional and my client was extremely happy. Will definitely use them again on future projects. A joy to work with.. Gave the client a peace of mind in a job well done. Thanks..

We had this set up for our new home purchase before closing date. They came in right after, gave us the proposal, and installed the whole system a few days later, on time as scheduled. Everything went great. It took several hours to install because the system is complex, but it seems very user-friendly, and we are getting used to everything quickly. They explained everything as they worked and then went over the whole system at the end of the day. I am very impressed.

My First let me say that the reason I put $0 down as my payment is because that is what he charged me $0. So much for the $99 ADT installation being a good deal. If you could see the alarm panel that Radio Alarms installs in your home you would be amazed. I'm 34 and I'm amazed at how advanced it is. This is the second alarm that this company has installed for me and I can honestly say I am more pleased than very pleased. He really takes his time and his goal is safeguard your family. Most people don't realize how easy it is to cut a phone line or how inadequate the ADT alarm is. It stinks, to be fair they offer ones that are good, but you will pay a couple of thousand to get it installed and higher monitoring per month, much higher. Plus you have to have a phone line or the fire feature calls the cops not the fire department. I know because I was a customer. I am writing this review because David and his guys are so helpful and saved me a ton of money. He is the kind of person who will go above and beyond to be sure that what he is doing will make you, your family and your pets safe, not to mention your possesions. When I leave the house, it's like I havn't left. The alarm that he installs is so adanced that I feel like I am home. If a door or a window opens, my friend comes over what ever, I know instantly on my smart phone. Plus there is this really cool website where you can control the dozens of features this alarm offers. I make a change on the website and can see it happen within seconds on my monitor in the family room. Best of all, if you don't have lots of money but your family and pets mean the world to you, this alarm is so cheap. He charged me $0 and I'm saving $25 a month because I don't need my phone line any more. Plus I'm saving another $15 a month on the cell back up ADT charged me extra for, it's included and full featured. If you have a fire it calls the fire department, not so with ADT cell backup. Point is you don't have to be rich, but if you are rich this is the best alarm, not just the best deal. If you need to watch what you are spending it's great too. My house wasn't the easiest install, in fact it is full of pitfalls for an alarm company. I have lots of pets that set off the motions, I have jalousie windows that can't be alarmed easily, I have a trailer outside I wanted covered. He did it all so well and without charging me a fortune. I mean who can't afford $0. I'd say I'd like cash back but in a way I got that too. He gave my friend $100 for recommending him. Plus he is patient and that is why he gets it done right every time because he isn't in a hurry. He showed me how to use my alarm and took his time. He even stayed to show me the website and get me set up. I finally feel like my home is secure thanks to David and at a price anyone could afford. If you are getting an alarm and don't at least get a free quote from this guy you are missing out I promise you.

From start to finish, the whole process was smooth. When we're ready for an upgraded system or additional monitors, I know I'll be using him again.

My alarm system was old (18 years) and I was interested in getting a wireless one. I took advantage of The Big Deal on Angie's List and after studying the company's website, I decided to call. The owner, Dave, answered and was very helpful with my questions and we set up an appointment. He and his assistant reworked my existing system and added two new control panels in the house. Since some of the old connections were not installed correctly from 18 years ago, they worked tirelessly to correct it and now I have a simple to use alarm with no need to have a land line telephone. I can control the alarm by cell phone if I forget to turn it on and also be alerted to any intrusions. They were both very thorough in explaining how it works and also downloaded the application on my husband's Blackberry along with helping us get set up on their website on our computer. It is so much easier to use than the old system and I highly recommend them. You will get the best attention and professionalism.

Working with David has been great. He was straight forward and honest. It makes me think back to the days before "big box" stores; back when people ran their own businesses (the butcher, the baker, the candle stick maker). I imagine that if you asked your local butcher for his finest cut of steak, you would expect that he would show you his best. If he gave you exceptional quality meat, then you associate the person, his name, his store with quality. The name meant something. When doing business today, the person you speak to typically has no vested interest in your satisfaction and they don't take your interest personally. They are there for a pay check, and you are a "check-in-the-box" to meet a quota. Working with David, I have never felt better taken, nor been thanked so much for my business. I would highly recommend Radio Alarms to anyone looking for an Alarm Service. They are locally owned and are available when you need them. David and his staff are professionals and highly trained in their field. Don't look any further Radio Alarms is the Best!

I would like to say that thanks to radio alarms we were able to get the most state of the art system at a price that was so much cheaper than the basic system two other alarm companies wanted to sell us. David came out and quoted the system, very personable and not pushy at all, pet lover too. The system they sold us was top notch, touch screen with smart phone control, amazing. It wasn't the basic one motion and two sensors b.s. that ADT or some of the others want to sell you. This system covers every window and every door in a four bedroom house, with everything $210. Plus the monitoring was a few bucks less a month and included the cellular connect. This way if they cut the phone line you still get the help you need. You don't even need the phone line and all features work over the cell so there is another $25 bucks a month savings over some of the other guys. Most people don't know how bad the system they have is. This is the best system at the best price with the nicest guys backing it up. We had a small issue with a contact coming off. They answered the phone Saturday night and had a technician fix it free in the middle of the night, he was there in 30 minutes. Try getting that from one of the other alarm companies. Anyway I am so grateful to them for helping us to afford this great system. If you need an alarm, or have one you want to upgrade, don't miss out, call these guys and at least get a quote. When you see what they offer you'll be amazed. Thanks again to David and Arnie at Radio Alarms I felt this review was the least I could do.

David responded to my email quickly. I had emailed him on a Friday evening so I was totally expecting him to respond on the following Monday. Boy, was I wrong.. He emailed me on Saturday morning and stated he was fixing another alarm system in another section of town and could he stop by after finishing the job. He called after I responded and came by an hour later. David is just a nice guy, I felt comfortable speaking with him and I never felt he was talking over me and making the "sales pitch.". After I explained what I wanted, he checked my system and the offered a professional opinion with solutions that fit my needs and budget. I never felt he was trying to push expensive equipment or perform unnecessary repairs. Within 5 minutes he knew the alarm battery was gone and replaced it. He checked all the secure areas and noted that the old alarm system wiring was not working. He provided a couple of solutions, with the pros and cons of each, and I was able to make an informed decision. He told me that the wireless system would be ordered on the following Monday and installed on Tuesday. He told me exactly what would be included and the price and did not charge me for the visit. He emailed on Tuesday morning and told me he had the alarm system and we agreed on a time. He was at my house exactly at 4pm which was the time we agreed and started work immediately. David is a dog lover and I have a real yapper. He was great with the dog which put me at ease. I was extremely pleased with his work and I would highly recommend his services. I am very happy!!!!

Dave is by far the best alarm guy out there. They installed the new system without any damage to my house and explained everything about the alarm. After he left I had another question so I called him (it was after 5PM) and he answered the phone! The 2GIG system is very cool. It speaks to you and tells you when a door or window has opened. I downloaded the app on my phone and now I can arm and disarm the alarm from anywhere. I am going to have Dave come back and install some wireless switches, so that I can also control my lights. I am so happy with the system that I recommended him to my neighbors. My one neighbor already had an alarm system and Dave was able to switch them over to his monitoring station without changing any of the hardware.
