Signed contract with their certified roofing consultant, Matt Popovich. Permit granted by City of Atlantic Beach, FL (dated 03/30/23) and with HOA Selva Lakes. Reroofing began soon after permits issued. Was told a trash container would be utilized on site and Wind Mitigation certificate would also be included. (non of which happened), Supplies were left on the ground outside for several days and we called about pick up. Discovered the back yard roof area over our kitchen window was left not shingled at all. Rep came to pick up leftover supplies and sent 3 female workers to finish up the area without shingles. (approx. 40 sq ft.) Noticed a rather long (approx.2.5 ft.) water mark from roof leak in kitchen early October. This was exactly where the shingles were added to the roof a few days after most of the roof was complete. When we received the final bill, I was surprised to see Angi Roofing, LLC (dba Total Home Roofing/Citrus ) as payee , as it was never once mentioned to us. Payment made to Angi Roofing as requested per invoice # 20749 / Project # 53240. I have attempted to reach Total Home Roofing since October 4, 2024. A recording answers at several locations I attempted to reach. I have kept records of time and date of online holds, leaving a number for a call back. No rep answering or call-back. It seems cruel to misrepresent Total Home Roofing as a viable company. Research brought me to Angi and Solutions Dept. I spent literally hours on hold and/or awaiting return calls.

The roof was excellent job but they charged extra $600 to replace chimneys flashing. That should have been figured in price. They do this for a living, chimney issues should be nothing new.

Having our roof replaced by Total Home Roofing was quite possibly the worst decision we have ever made. We were told by the salesperson Chris that the roof project would begin 2 weeks from when we signed the contract, it took a month. Once started, the roof was completed in 1.5 days, obviously very rushed. We had some small issues, we addressed them with the foreman Ray, who was incredibly condescending and rude. Small issues included adhesive dripping through the roof decking onto our driveway/into laundry room, a board installed incorrectly. 2 large issues - We contracted THR to add slope to our totally flat roof, per city code. After the roof was completed, we have large puddles of standing water on the flat roof each time it rains. So obviously the slope was done incorrectly. On the first day of installation, the roofers had the roof open when it began to rain. Water poured into our office through the light fixture. THR also (what I feel is) fraudulently completed an affidavit for the city permit, stating that the roof was done to code. Calls to the office have proven totally fruitless. Each person who answers daily has, despite looking at our file, no clue what is going on. We did speak to the production manager over the local office, who said it would be fixed, two weeks ago. We have heard nothing from him since. I called the warranty office today, the person I spoke with told me that the crew said that they had already been out to fix the issues (they absolutely have not). I have called the office at least a dozen times. The only calls I have received back have been about billing. I would warn anyone and everyone to never, ever hire Total Home Roofing (Orlando office). Truly the worst/most frustrating experience I have had as a homeowner.

Very friendly and courteous until you sign the contract. Then hard to get anyone to return calls Project needed to be rushed for insurance purposes. The actual installation was quick, final inspection took a week. Called to do wind mitigation 10 days later. Had already hired another company to do it. My chair that was on the patio was tossed into the bushes in the backyard. Now receiving numerous calls wanting payment when I have authorized payment to be released.

Contractor showed up promptly to do his estimate for the job. As his bid was within what I was expecting to pay, and the materials he was going to use were first rate, high quality materials, I hired him on the spot. The job was conducted in a highly professional manner. The contractorâ s employees were prompt in showing up and worked diligently to accomplish the job in a timely manner. Ultimately, I ended up with a small water leak around a skylight on my back porch. The contractor took care of those issues in a timely manner. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Iâ M VERY GRATEFUL OF THE OUTSTANDING WORK THEY PERFORMED ON MY BEHALF. THANK YOU. The new roof looks great.

Updated as of 7-16-2022: After doing a lot of research and receiving numerous estimates, my wife and I decided to use Total Home Roofing (THR) to install a new roof on our home. THR is a large Florida roofing company with an office in Jacksonville, FL. Jason, the estimator, came out as scheduled, went through what they would do for us and wrote the estimate. I was told that THR does not sub out any of their jobs and would put up tarps around the perimeter of the house including over the deck, swimming pool and air conditioning unit to protect those items and also make their clean up easier. After a few days I contacted Jason to let him know that we decided to use their company (even though their price was slightly higher than the other roofing companies we met with) for our roofing replacement project due to his professionalism and the size of THR. The thought was that we would expect and receive better service from a large company, and better warranty coverage. The estimator, Jason, came to the house to get the contract signed on a Friday. We signed the contract but did not receive a copy of the contract. The permit was approved on Monday June 27, 2022, and the office called to schedule. When the estimator performed his site inspection, he indicated that the canopy for my boat would have to be relocated to allow the dumpster to be close to the house for easier dumping of the old shingles. He stated that his crew would move the canopy. When the office called to schedule, they indicated that "They" do not move canopies. So that was the first challenge with this project. I spoke with the estimator Tuesday evening (June 29, 2022), and he stated that they would have the crew here between 6:30-7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 to get the canopy moved and start on the project. I woke up early to get what I needed to get done and no one arrived on site until the foreman, Frankie, arrived to deliver materials at approximately 11 a.m. There was no contact until 10:29 a.m. that morning when the foreman texted me that he was on his way. The crew arrived around noon and got started. The city roof inspector showed up 10:49 a.m. to do an initial inspection on the roof but we told him that they hadnâ t even begun yet and the permit was not available on the property at that time. One of the aspects that caused us to choose THR was this commitment, "Tarps will be placed around the home to contain loose roofing debris." Also, a tarp was to cover the pool and that it would take them one and half to two days to complete the project. The tarps were installed "sporadically" after I made a call to the foreman to complain that
