I would recommend them. It was just a little problem that we made better. They could figure it out. It was better than replacing the whole area. They came when they said they would.

I have known Matt McLeod personally for years, but after he did a fine job on the roof of one of my assistants, I decided to ask him about a roofing job for my house. The job was begun sooner than expected because I had a leak and there was a cancellation. Matt was actually out of town and his assistant, Ron Howell, took over the project. It was done in two days and would have been sooner, but the supplier ran out of something and we had to wait over the weekend to get the materials to finish.

They were very punctual and hard working, completing our 3100 sq ft house in 4 days. The work appears to be of very good quality. They organized their work area each day before leaving, ensuring we could get in and out of our driveway without concern for nails or construction debris. They also removed all debris from our property each day, as opposed to parking a dumpster at our house for the duration of the job. We didn't find any remaining debris or nails when we walked the perimeter after they completed the job. We're very pleased with their performance.
(Note: I have not included pricing information given this work was imbedded within a larger project that included several providers. Based on the bid for the complete set of work, I suspect their pricing is generally competitive. It's likely they are not the lowest cost provider, given the quality of their work appears to be very good, which justifies some amount of uplift over an average quality provider.)

Our house was bank-owned when we bought it in 2009. The inspection turned up four roof leaks, so I contacted Top Gun on a recommendation from my father. Three leaks were around vents, the forth was where the garage roof met an exterior wall on the side of the house. A representative named John came out and took a look. Matt called me within the next day or two and gave me an estimate of $800 to fix and re-shingle everything. I accepted and John completed the work in about 4 hours.
Fast forward 2 years...I noticed that the roof was leaking around the dryer vent when I was in the attic. I called Top Gun and left a message that there was problems with the work they did 2 years prior. 2 days later, they still hadn't called, so I called another company. I had already accepted the second company's proposal by the time someone called me back from Top Gun. Based on what the second company had seen from inside the attic, I told the Top Gun representative I already had somebody else. Turned out to be a good call on my part.
John from Top Gun had basically done a and quot;cover and hideand quot; job. The second guy showed me a piece of plywood that had a hole in it. Instead of cutting out the plywood and replacing it, John had nailed a piece of flashing over the hole and covered it with shingles. There was enough rotten wood that the second guy said it probably had never stopped leaking. The rest of the job was of similar shoddy quality...the fact that it took 2 men from the second company about 2 more hours to do the work than it took the original one guy told me all I needed to know about that.
