A few months after my Warrantee expired the Snyder technician stated that I was losing freon and he need to put more into the condenser. I wanted him to show me where the leak was before pumping more freon in to just leak out. I told him to find the leak and fix it. He could not find leak(s) in the condenser. He had already serviced the air handler inside the house and closed it up. I did not see him clean the coils or interior of the handler but I did monitor the service of the condenser. On prior visits I don't recall seeing a technician open the handller and clean the coils which I now know is part of servicing twice a year. He then calls his office and 15-30 minutes later another Snyder Rep show's up. He goes directly to the handler and opens the area where the coils are located. I have never seen so much corrosion. Clear proof that Snyder technician(s) have not cleaned the coils or else they could have prevented this corrosion build up. He Did Not presure check the handler so I still don't where the leak is. This guy then goes to his vehicle and returns with a sales package to try to sell me another AC System at a price of $7,800. An Amana 15 SEER/3 Ton Unit. I told him I would get back to Snyder later after I do my research. I did replace the AC Condenser/Handler with another company and a savings of over $2,000 with more then what was offered by Snyder Heating and AC. Also over the past year they did replace parts they claim to have failed and charged 3-4 times the cost of purchase elsewhere. I have heard others say that Snyder Overcharges for replacement parts/equipment.
