Rory's Custom Hardwood

Rory and his crew came when they said they would be here and did excellent work. They showed concern for our needs, any changes that were needed, and explained the work as they progressed. We felt their quality of work, work ethic and attention to detail was outstanding. Rory's crew was friendly and pleasant to have in our house. We would not hesitate to call them again for any flooring needs we might have in the future and will recommend them to any of our friends.

Rory did an outstanding job on restoring our old hardwood floors. They look like new again! I would recommend Rory to anyone. Only concern was the amount of dust/shavings that went all over everything. Would have liked a heads-up about covering furniture and how to get the job done with a little less clean-up required afterwards.

We were very pleased with Rory's work. He and his crew showed up on time, everyday, ready to go to work. Reasonably priced and very experienced, we consider his work an investment in our home. We also appreciated his taking considerable time to assist us with evaluating the various flooring products we considering using in which he did not have a vested interest. We would certainly recommend Rory's Hardwood to others.

Our 22 year old hardwood needed refinishing badly! So, we called Rory. He did a wonderful job of making the floor look like new! He also installed new hardwood floors in our living room and dining room with a decorative border too. From our first meeting with Rory we felt as though we were working with a friend - someone we could trust and someone we enjoyed having in our home. He was professional in every way - punctual (often even early!), detail oriented, cleaned up at the end of each day, and followed up well. We would give six stars if there was such a category. We definitely recommend Rory's Custom Hardwood!!

We were pleased with all aspects of Rory's. They were consistently on time and more than willing to listen to our concerns and worked with us to complete the project to our satisfaction. The sanding, repair, and finishing were expertly completed with a minimum of dust and cleanup. During the sanding phase, they were careful not to damage our recently painted walls and baseboards. Would highly recommend them.

Rory and his team were extremely professional. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Rory communicated well, followed up, and did an absolutely beautiful job installing my wood floor. On top of that they were friendly and pleasant to have around the house for the week it took to complete the job. See the attached photos of the work he did. The work speaks for itself. All of the other intangibles involved in working with a contractor in your home are the X factor. I am happy to report these guys not only do great work, but are great to work with. Recommended without hesitation.

Rory was excellent to work with; his references were wonderful. I found him to be honest about the results he expected from our old hardwood floors after he had removed the carpet and saw the condition they were in, even though it was not in his best interests to cancel the job. His baseboards, painted and installed looked fantastic and were icing on the cake! His prices were very reasonable, and his work ethic great. I especially appreciated his integrity and honesty, as that is the foundation for anyone's work. I would highly recommend Rory to do your floors and/or baseboards.
