Just purchased a home with several trees on the property that were hanging over the roof, some branches were touching the roof, and we also had two stumps in the backyard which were a concern since we have small children. Paul was quick to come and do an estimate and even came back a second time to do another free estimate when I wanted to add something to the scope of work! Service was scheduled within the week, which was great because others were scheduling anywhere from 1-3 weeks out. The work was done well and clean up was awesome...like they were never here. Very satisfied!

They were quick to come give an estimate and explained it thoroughly. They also called back quickly to schedule the work, showed up on time and completed the job quickly. They also cleaned up after themselves. It was a very pleasant experience for me!

They were punctual, did everything they agreed to and finished timely. The trees they removed were extremely tall (in excess of 50 feet). I would use them again.

When I called the company for an estimate they came out the next day and provided an estimate for trimming several trees in my yard that was slightly lower ($25) than the first company I called (whom I had used before and trusted). I agreed to use North Florida Stump Grinding because they were able to perform the service sooner than the first company. They came the day after providing the estimate. The job involved trimming the lower branches of 5 crape myrtles, 1 maple, 1 pecan and a small miscellaneous tree in my neighbor's yard that was infringing on my fruit tree. They arrived on time, were very professional and pleasant, did a great job and hauled away all of the limbs. There was no big machinery involved, just a pole pruner and 3 guys, a father and 2 sons. My only complaint is the price; the charge was $600 for about an hour and a half of work, which seems high. When the estimate was provided I was told it would take 4 or 5 hours. I questioned the price, given the fact that it took less time, but was told it is expensive to run a small business and that liability insurance is high for tree trimmers, which I'm sure is true. All in all, a good experience and the price seems pretty much par for the course when using a licensed and insured professional. I would use them again but hopefully won't need to for several years at least.

We have used North Florida's services twice and each time they did an excellent job. In regards to the branch that snapped over the weekend, I called Monday morning. Paul was at my house by Monday afternoon and provided estimate to remove the fallen branch and snapped tree. It's now 1:00 on a Tuesday and yard is completely free and clear of all debris. They also cleared debris that had fallen in our neighbors yard. I will definitely call again.

We love Paul. He is a Paul Bunyon type of guy with southern charm. He is professional, timely, courteous, polite and tries to do right by you, your wallet and your trees. He has all his teeth and dresses nicely, ie, he is not a back woods hick. with a chainsaw to rent. We feel comfortable letting him work on our property's tree's, even when we are away.

He did a fantastic job. All the stumps were in the backyard so the owner had to get the grinder past the very narrow side yard. He was extremely careful and paid attention in not causing harm to irrigation system sprinkler heads and bushes. The stumps were all grounded down deep into the soil and he even leveled out the mulch and blew the debris from the lawn. He was professional, prompt, and hard working.

Owner - Paul Miller was on time and professional. The work was great and they blew the leaves out of my garage, which was not caused by them, while blowing my driveway. Did not have to babysit them while they did their job. Yes I would use them again.

Called Paul about two weeks ago on a Sunday of Presidents Day he returned my call that Sunday and showed up at my house on Tuesday for an estimate. He was very professional and very curtious and told me the work was going to get done in two to three weeks and sure enough, two weeks later he trimmed my oak tree and removed a maple tree in my back yard. He went to extra mile to remove the stump and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend him and hopefully the job he does for the next client was as smooth and wonderful as it was for me.

They arrived at the time promised and did the job. Because when they got the tree down it was late, they returned the next morning and did all of the clean up. My husband and I were very satisfied with the job that was done.

Paul did a great job taking out a lot of palmettos stumps. Made some good suggestions on things I had t thought about which turned out great. He was thorough, prompt, and had great communication. Will use again for sure.

I could not ask for more. They performed a free estimate which was a good compared to other estimates I had. Came on the day and time promised and performed the service agreed upon. They took the tree with them and left my yard clean and free of debris. Great job. Will use again.

I called North Florida Stumpgrinding, LLC because of the reviews I read here on Angie?s list. My phone call was returned that day by the owner of the company, Paul Miller. He was polite, professional and patient as I discussed the different tasks I liked quoted. We arranged for him to come by the next morning to review the jobs. Mr. Miller arrived on time and provided quotes as we walked the property. I was unsure if I would be able to afford all the tasks I wanted done in one shot but his prices were so reasonable I was able to have everything accomplished. He offered several dates and times to return to do the work and we agreed on one right then. Not being able to be home at the time of the appointment Mr. Miller took care of everything and called me when the job was complete. When I returned I was so excited to find that the job surpassed all my expectations!! I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Miller and North Florida Stumpgrinding to everyone!! I had an excellent experience with North Florida Stumpgrinding. All aspects of the job, from showing up on time, professional courteous workers, and thorough cleaning of the job, were top notch. There is no doubt that I will use them in the future.

North Florida Stump Grinding LLC is by far the best tree service I have ever used. Their prices are reasonable, and everyone was very careful and professional. They cut a very large limb over my workshop (which I was very concerned about as the roof was pretty old fiberglass and would shatter if the tree limb hit it). Their tree-climbers really knew how to move the cut limb (piece-by-piece) and lowered it over the side without any damage. All the tree limbs and other debree was cleaned up and hauled off. I would highly recommend their service to anyone, and I might add, I intend to have them return later for more work.

Mr. Miller was very prompt and completed all of the task we previously agreed to, He removed the tree and all debris and hauled it away. I am more than pleased with his services and intend to use him again! I will recommend his services.

Went great. Estimate and work done in the same week. Tree looks fantastic and they cleaned everything up and hauled it all away. Was more work than I think they originally thought it would be, back they stuck to their estimate. Very professional and a pleasure to use.

I called Mr. Miller at 10 AM this morning. By 11 AM he returned my call. I described the job. He gave me a broad estimate which was absolutely appropriate without him seeing the property. We agreed. He was on the property by 1:30 PM the same afternoon!! Unheard of for a outside contractor during summer months. He completed all work swiftly, completely. To make sure the bamboo root system was destroyed he ran the grinder through the whole area a second time without any additional charges. He cleaned up all his work area perfectly. He was extremely careful not to let debris get in the inground pool. His work was far superior to a major company I had out to remove and grind another part of the yard... The other major company said they couldn't reach the back area so never removed the stumps and root ball. Mr. Miller of NorthFlorida did ! He is unfailingly polite, hardworking, honest and fair ! I would hire him again in a minute for any work of this type! Excellent! Excellent ! Excellent !
