I highly recommend Ivanhoe Appliance Service. Prompt, professional, and very reasonable cost. Ed did a superb job fixing my GE bottom freezer ice maker. He had to remove the freezer door to get at the ice maker, and then diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. Great job Ed! I will definitely be calling you for all my appliance repair needs.

He told me that it would be very difficult to fing the leak and it would not be worth the price to find anad fix it. He suggested that I buy a new refrigerator.

Ed repaired the problem; faulty fan motor which leaked water into the refrigerator. Ed also found the water drain was comprised. Ed was very professional and called when he was coming. The work was completed in short time frame.

Ed from Ivanhoe was great! I called Thursday morning and he was out that afternoon. He was able to fix the problem in 30 minutes and all was good again. I would definitely use and recommend him again. Finding reliable and honest service people is a blessing.

Excellent job on an old washing machine that we were afraid was beyond rescue. 5 stars! Responsive, timely, capable, no nonsense, reasonably priced.

Quickly fixed the disposal, then diagnosed the ice tray, Ed ordered a new unit and returned the next week with the part. Ice tray was cracked and leaking as it filled.

Couldn't have gone better. Since the dishwasher is a Kenmore I first called Sears for service. They said that they couldn't be at my home for a week. I called Ed at Ivanhoe this morning at 8 a.m. due to the superb reviews I read on Angie's List. He said he'd be here between 1 and 4 which was a most pleasant surprise. He disassembled the control panel, reset it, and voila! the dishwasher works. Frankly I thought I would be looking at a new control panel for $250 or more. I cannot say enough good things about Ed and wouldn't consider calling anyone else for large appliance repairs. He walks on water!

All went extremely well. He chipped out the block of ice in the bottom freezer, and got the hose connected, changed out my water filter and all working once again.

Old Maytag washing machine had stopped working. Called Ivanhoe. He showed up when they said they would. He called before he came. Diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. Fixed the problem, defective lid switch, right away. Charge was not cheap but was reasonable, what more can you ask? Would definitely call again.

Great! Gentleman diagnosed it quickly, ordered the part, and within a week called me back and fixed the washer. He was very professional, and very reasonably priced! I would definitely call them again!!

Mike was nothing short of outstanding! He personally answered the phone (not a machine), gave me an appointment for later that day and arrived exactly when he said he would. He found that the problem was simply a clogged drain - which he cleaned and flushed at minimal expense. I simply can't say enough about the service he provided.

Ed Ivanhoe came in and easily diagnosed the problem. He replaced my heating element and gave me some tips about getting the dryer vent cleaned. Ed looks like he belongs in the 1950s and should be on a Leave It To Beaver, episode. He's quiet and very professional, but he had no problem answering all my questions.

He checked out the motor, provided us with the cost to repair or the cost to buy a new one.

It needed a new mother board which was on factory back order and costs half the price of a new refrigerator and would not be available for four weeks.

I called first thing in the morning and spoke to Ed. Upon explaining the problem, he said he would arrive between 1-4 pm. At 1:30, he called to tell me he was on the way to my house. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and was able to repair it immediately, since he had the appropriate replacement part in his truck. He was quick, professional, and cleaned up all traces of any mess prior to departure. I would highly recommend this provider. I had an excellent experience.

My refrigerator was completely dead. I called serveral companies and no one could come out till the following week. Ivanhoe sent someone out the same day. Ed came out to look at my refrigerator he was very professional. He came out, checked out my refridgerator and told me that he could repair it but that it probably wasn't worth spending the money on because of it's age and problems. It had a freon leak and the control panel was bad. He offered to recharge the freon and said it might hold long enough to get me through until I could get a new one. I had already made other arrangements for the food since it had quit the previous day so I declined but he was willing to do anything to help me out. The service charge was less than any other company and the service was wonderful and very professional.

Ed was able to diagnose and fix the problem in a short time, finding a small debris trapped in the food disposal blade which caused the grinding sound.

They called ahead to let us know they were coming and arrived punctually. They had the necessary parts and the diagnosis/repair was done quickly. We're happy with the service and the result and would use them again.

Ed took apart my dishwasher looking for origin of loud noise. It needs a new motor and I decided to get new dishwasher.instead. He charged me only for the minimum visit. Could have charged more and I wouldn't have known since it took awhile to take the appliance apart. This was the second time he was here. First visit he fixed my oven door quickly and efficiently. He was punctual and pleasant and honest. Can't asked for more.
