Very responsive and punctual. Came out after I called to give me an estimate and established a pick up date. We went to the shop to pick out the material to upholster our 40+ year old sofa; they had a large selection and were helpful in narrowing it down. Always professional and courteous, it was a pleasure to do business with them. When they returned the couch to us, we were amazed how beautiful it turned out and with the quality and care of their work. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I contacted Tony's Unique Upholstery based on their ratings here, and explained what I wanted. I spoke with Karen, who was extremely helpful. She asked that I send her a picture of the chair in question, and based on that she quoted me a price. When I insisted that I wanted a double cushion for the chair, she wanted to know the reason and then provided an alternative that would save me money. In fact, she was intent on saving me money all through the project. Both she, Tony, and their employee were always courteous, prompt to reply and mindful of my concerns. The work was done in less than a week and very reasonably priced. And when I picked it up, Karen remembered I had found them through Angie's list and applied an additional discount that I was not aware of. I am very pleased with their service and just wish more businesses were like theirs. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I am very pleased the responsiveness of Karen as well as the prompt pick-up and return of the chairs. The quality of the work is exceptional. I am impressed by work that was done.

.The whole process went very smoothly. I had a small job so needless to say, it didn't pay for him to come up to me to pick the chair up and deliver it. The chair was ready on time. He even took the chair out of the car and put it back in when the job was complete.. The only thing I would note is be sure, when you pick your item up, bring cashm since he runs a cash only business. I was very pleased and would use him again without hesitation.

From the prompt pick-up, to the guidance about the right fabric including welting to the time crunch to finish in time for house guest to the workmanship.....excellent. I highly recommend them.

Top-notch and better than I ever expected.

I can't say enough good things about this little business. Given the sheer scope of fabric selections today, just the initial fabric search was a several week process. We (myself and Tony's wife, Karen) searched in their sample books, in local fabric stores and online. She was a complete saint and I couldn't have done it without her. Then, once selected, Tony took over to complete the refurb. The wooden rails were sanded and given a coat of paint to match with the fabrics. Then the upholstery went on. Fantastic job.....start to finish. They are helpful, fair on price, do incredible work and are a joy to work with. They are the quintessential family business and one we should all support.

After several attempts to get various upholsterers rot eturn my call Tony responded immediately. I had a large sofa that was upstairs and had to be moved downstairs and into an elevator which he and his team did with care and a sense of humor. tony also fixed some of the woodwork in my sofa as it was loose. They performed the job quickly and the quality was amazing. The price was very fair. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to call them again.

I needed to replace the upholstery for two antique chairs. After finding Tony's business on Angie's list I had an estimate on the same day plus all other needed information. This was great as we mostly communicated via email and they gave us the estimate on just a couple of pictures. As my husband dropped the chairs off, he was pleasantly surprised by the knowledge Tony has and was sure our chairs were in good hands. After taking a first look at the chairs, Tony suggested to fix the netting, too. The result? I couldn't be happier with it. Not only did Tony replace the fabric/netting, he also polished the wood. Now we can actually use the chairs and enjoy them.

Great. No hitches or surprises. Picked up when they said they would and delivered on time.

Everything went well, we met at thier facitlty which is clean comfortable and very proffesional. We went over options, materials and ideas. Agreed on estimate and time frame and were very happy with the results.

They have wonderful customer service, extremely knowledgeable about fabrics and design, and quality work product. They picked up and delivered and was done much quicker than expected! I would highly recommend.

The process went very well and I am totally pleased with the suggestions, service, workmanship, and the final overall finished product. On the first day I went in and spoke with Karen (Tony's assistant). She was very helpful as far as giving suggestions and advice as to what would work best on the stools and also giving advice on fabric selection. Tony looked at the stools and gave me an estimate as to what the cost would be to have the stools redone. From there we decided on a date as to when I was going to drop the stools off to be done and in the meantime they were going to order the fabric. When I dropped off the stools. I was told that they would be completed and ready for pickup within 10 days. To my surprise I got a call on the 9th day from Tony stating that the stools were ready. I went in the following morning and picked them up. I was very pleased with the way they looked and the work- manship. Overall, I found the entire process to be very accommodating and very professionally handled. I would recommend to any of my family and friends to do business with Tony's Unique Upholstery. I'm sure I will have more work done with them in the future.

Beginning with our initial phone contact through completion of the job, working with Karen and Tony was an exceptional experience. You feel that you are doing business with friends. They are honest, professional, and their expertise is evident in their work. As an example of their honesty/professionalism, we had originally selected a fabric that we liked. After showing it to Tony and Karen, they counseled that the fabric would not be very durable and helped guide us to a less expensive fabric. They did everything they said they would do, in a timely fashion and with expertise. We are very happy with our sofa and highly recommend this company.

This was the second time I used Tony. He upholstered a sofabed and 2 barrel chairs for me. So when I needed to reupholster a wing chair I called and received the same quick, professional, personal service at a very reasonable price. I ordered the fabric this time from another source as he didn't have exactly what I needed. As always, it is a pleasure to work with Tony and Karen.

Tony and Karen came by and evaluated the job. They were very pleasant and professional and discussed the materials and decided to use 6" foam. We were given a written proposal, which had been discussed on our first phone call, with added changes. We agreed to the price and were told that it would be completed within the requested time frame, 5 days. To me, the price was fair, but I really didn't shop prices, so we can't really comment on it. Sure enough....Karen and helpers delivered the cushions on the date requested and set up the couches with the new cushions They were so nice. The work was well done and the couches look amazing. Tony's wife discussed the height of the legs with me and the product, plastic or wood, and managed to find 8-4" wood legs that fit perfectly. We've only been using the couches now for maybe a month. It remains to be seen how the cushions stand up to continued use, but at this point, all is well. The agreement allows for 30 days to report any problems. Rarely, if ever, in Miami have we run across vendors who were so professional and just nice people. Even more rare is a company that returns phone calls in a timely manner and actually does what they say they're going to do in the time agreed. (And this company came down from Miramar.) Tony's Unique Upholstery fits the bill. We enjoyed the experience and will refer them to our friends.

We visited Tony and Karen's shop on December 28. We urgently needed the seating area of our kitchen breakfast nook remodeled as we had just had the entire house done and that was the only area still needing work. Karen was very helpful in picking out the fabric for the seats and backs as well as suggesting some cost cutting measures to make the job more affordable. WE explained that we needed the work done urgently by the 3rd of January since we were having a large party at our house on the 4th of January. Karen spoke to Tony and he said he would have it done by the third. This after having to order the fabric from the manufacturer on a rush delivery. Well,on the 3rd of January, as promised, Karen and Tony deliverd the finished work to our home in the evening. After having come from their own family holiday get together. The work was excellent and as promised.

The experience working with Karen and Tony was magical from the start. I had several needs and some quality, antique pieces that I wanted to re-upholster - but needed to do so in a look that was contemporary and in fitting with our newly remodeled home. I took photos of the pieces I originally wanted to re-finish and re-upholster (I then added additional pieces) and emailed them to Karen. She gave me a very fair estimate and asked me what I was thinking in terms of fabric and cost. By the time I got to their office and workshop, she had a few ideas at the ready. She asked me to show her the styles and colors I liked, we looked at the photos and she immediately got a sense for what I wanted and needed. One by one, she helped me select the right fabric at the right prices for everything. She has an uncanny sense of color and texture and when I followed her recommendations - I was never disappointed. In fact - I was thrilled! And, she made it all easy for me by arranging for the pick up and delivery of my furniture at a fair price and made the process fun, time efficient and easy. I almost didn't recognize my furniture when it was delivered back to me - they were exquisite! Tony and his staff are true craftsmen. They turned what I believed to be almost unusable pieces into works of art. The details of the cording, the rebuilding of cushions, the care of each and every detail of each piece has taken me back there time after time over the past 6 months. Little by little I think they'll re-do just about everything in my house! Both Tony and Karen are genuinely caring people and professionals that do excellent work! It has been a joy working with them through the process and I look forward to working with them again soon.

I needed two custom pieces that were worn redone. The found the correct fabric, picked therm up, give us an exact estimates and returned the pieces when promised. The work was excellent and the pieces look like new.
