Matthew (the owner) worked quickly and efficiently and definitely gave the best price BY FAR of the four companies that I checked for an estimate. Matthew is a personable but a no-nonsense, no-frills type of guy with a good work ethic. Shortly after the instillation a minor issue arose (new thermostat was not performing correctly, and my outside breaker was faulty) and he quickly replaced both items (did not charge me for a new breaker, although he could have, since it was mine) The only criticism I have is it took several days to respond to my call concerning the above-mentioned minor issue, but he explained that he had a personal emergency and I had no problem giving him the benefit of the doubt on that. Even under the best of circumstances, I would imagine it is difficult to get back to people if you don't have a personal secretary. For the price savings that Matt afforded me, I can definitely deal with that.

I manage several properties and have used MTS for about 6 months now. We will continue to use them in the future for service calls as well as replacing units. They will give you a fair price over the phone and if the work ends up being less than expected the price is lowered. It is hard to find an honest contractor in this town but MTS is not in that group. You will have no worries in calling them for your work because it will bee done properly.

I previously had an A/C tune-up and that provider indicated that I needed a hard start kit for the condenser and a capacitor inside. I spoke with Matthew at MTS Air and he said that he would come over and take care of both and provided me with an estimate. Upon arrival, he inspected the condenser and indicated that a hard start kit would not be appropriate for my type of unit. He performed some additional checks and said that I should replace the capacitor outside based on in current draw. He then looked at my air handler and said that the capacitor wasn't that bad and that it didn't need replacement right now, but I decided to have it done anyway. Matt then gave me an invoice which was significantly less than what he quoted. He could have easily charged me what he quoted on the phone (which was less than the "tune-up" company), and I wouldn't have known the difference. It is refreshing to have someone honest and technically proficient in an industry which seems to have forgotten it. All future service calls at my house will be handled by Matt. You will NOT be disappointed if you retain his services.
