We had preventative maintenance done on 12/16/21 at a cost of $85, on 12/19/21 an after hours call was required due to capacitor needing replacement at a cost of $99. Had the test been run on the capacitor at time of preventive maintenance would have been discovered, not resulting in after hours call. Mr. Watts extremely RUDE AND ARROGANT. NEVER AGAIN!!

Joe was a total pro with a great sense of humor which seems to be rare these days in customer service. This is the second time we have had Watts service our home a/c which is 25 years old and needs to be replace, but we were hoping to get through this summer before biting the bullet. I called a 3:30pm and he was at my door within an hour and had the temp dropping in short order. Highly recommend these guys and will be calling them when we replace the system!

I work in a service industry, and I know how important customer relations are! The AC specialist, Raymond, told me he could be there in about 30 minutes. He made it in 25....... He had my AC unplugged, the drain on the outside was dripping all along, there was another plugged up line in the AC. From initial call to problem fixed an unbelievable 1 hour and 10 minutes. They were so responsive, pleasant and a op notch service, that I will call them up to set up a service plan for my AC from this point forward

So my energy company is having issues with one of their sub-stations in the area and were constantly cycling power all day long. Come to find out that this cause the capacitor on my heat pump to burn out.
I called Watts AC around 7:30 pm on Tuesday and was expecting to get a voice-mail that I could leave information at to be called the next day. To my surprise I actually got to a person who was willing to get me in touch with a technician to answer my questions before setting an appointment. She had said she would give him all the details I gave her and he would call me.
At this point a large thunderstorm and just rolled in, so I was hot, and it was muggy and bad outside and no where to escape to. The technician called me back though about 15 minutes after I hung up the phone. He told me the normal Diagnostic fee was $89 and that he could try and make it out there that night to take a look at the AC, Because of the storm though I declined and asked to set up an appointment for Wednesday morning.
8 am sharp I got a call from someone with Watts AC to setup and confirm getting a technician out ASAP, but warned me that the morning was already booked because of the high volume of calls. I told her that it was okay and got it set. Expecting to not hear anything back from them until 3 o'clock or so I started trying to find arrangements to take care of my dogs and family in the heat.
The best part is that around Noon Raymond shows up at my door asking to take a look at the unit. I show him where I thought to be the trouble, the symptoms, and how I had disconnected the power. He had me turn the power back on, took a look at a couple things, turned to me and told me the capacitor burned out. He then grabbed one from the truck, informed me of the price of it being $100 for it(of course I would have agreed to anything to get it fixed, but he even showed me it in their price booklet to put my mind at ease), and then he installed it. Everything was said and done by 12:17 and my AC is running again.
Raymond was great and I will gladly call them again in the future. He even told me some tips to check in the future if it happens again and what would have caused it.
TL;DR
Took 1 call, 17 minutes, and $130 and my AC is ice cold again.

Response from Charles M Watts AC
"Obviously I have to respond to this dishonest review, I can assure anyone reading this review the work we invoiced was completed, simply read our previous reviews and I think you will realize for yourself we are an honest company. If this gentleman had an issue we do offer a 1 year guarantee on our repairs and this is printed on the face of our invoice. We are human and we do make mistakes and we would have been more than happy to return and show him where we made the repairs and make further repairs as needed. He called a so called "reputable" company who stated the problem was a "rusted evaporator coil" causing his issue. His evaporator coil was constructed of copper and aluminum with steel end plates, the refrigerant is contained in the copper tubing, I'm not sure how copper tubing rusts. It is possible the end plates were rusty which is normal on his 9 year old system, but this would not cause it to stop cooling and at the most would cause it to leak water, which was not happening. It would appear that his "reputable" company played on his fears and in the end sold him a completely new system to replace his 9 year old system and it should also be noted this "reputable" company installed the system without the required county mechanical permit. This also brings up the question; if he has used this company before and they are so "reputable" why did he call us in the first place? I think reading his review any intelligent person would ascertain his total lack of loyalty to any company"

I'm very pleased with the courteous service and effective response to our A/C outage. With temps in the 90s, you don't want to be without A/C very long. Thanks to Watt's, we weren't. I highly recommend them.

Service rep came out to determine problem. Blower motor was ordered and another tech came to install the motor. Both techs were professional and courteous. Service was performed in a timely manner.
