Everything went excellent. The crew showed up on time and immediately got to work as soon as I told them what I wanted done. When asked, they provided their recommendations, which I sincerely appreciated. All the workers were very professional. Once finished, they cleaned the clippings up thoroughly and hauled away a full truckload. I really feel like I got my moneys worth. I am very thankful for the overall positive experience. They will be my go to tree trimming company.

Called to get an estimate. Rebecca quoted me a price for $623 to remove limbs overhanging the roof, front and back. She told me with the coupon it would be $423. I told Rebecca that I have got 4 estimates ranging from $350-$450. Her coupon price of $223 for a $400 job is actually bogus. Because the price will still be the same what good is the coupon. It is really false advertising. Seeing what I know, she agreed to a price of $400 payable by credit card. I told her specifically that it is for insurance purposes and Citizens requires me to remove all limbs overhanging the roof or it will not pass inspection. She said that she fully understands and has done this many times. The job was scheduled for 12/26/2013 between 9-10 am. The workers called to let me know that they are done and I went to inspect. Upon arrival, I was totally shocked with the quality of work. They trimmed the limb that was overhanging the back of the roof but the front was totally disappointing. They not only did not trim the limbs overhanging the roof but they told me that it would require a permit to cut down a limb. Are you kidding me? If they did not take the limbs down why do I even need them to trim some limbs that were away from the roof? I am not doing this for fun or paying them for something that will certainly not pass inspection. I had done this before and told them that you only need a permit if you are chopping down a tree completely and the law requires you to replace another tree but you do not need a permit to take down a limb. The Beaver worker argued with me and decided to walk away to cut their losses. Fine, I told them that I would give them a good review for doing so. While the worker was on the phone with Rebecca, I went ahead and called another tree service. He came immediately and I asked him if he would take the job. He agreed. But after Beaver has driven off, they went and call my guy to tell them not to do my trees for me because I will not pay them. It is really small of them to call my tree guy and bad mouth me telling them that I would not pay for the work when they themselves did not perform. My tree guy told Beaver that I was p*****. Not only they did not trim the limbs but they did not know what they were talking about. He said that he has been doing this and you definitely do not need a permit to trim down the limbs overhanging the roof. He said he would definitely trim the limbs for $350. I would not have written to complain have they not been so small to call my tree guy to tell them what my tree guy already knew. He was right there when I was arguing with the Beaver guy so it is not like I was hiding anything from him. The fact that they did not know what they were doing and giving me false info about needing permit is unacceptable. This is the reason I am writing to let everybody out there know that the coupon is bogus as it has already been priced in. Buyer Beware! I have pictures.

Trimmed tall palm trees. It went fantastic!

The only reasons why they have a B instead of an A is because they didn't call to schedule a time to come, they just showed up which I thought was kind of unprofessional. The other reason is because the equipment they used to trim the trees tore up my grass where the wheels were placed. I don't have a lot of nice grass in my backyard and I'm not sure that's even avoidable given the large equipment they had to use, but it was disappointing when I went back there later on. Overall I am happy with the job they did though and I would hire them again but next time would make sure to make an appointment and see if the grass can be preserved.

The service went fine. They came out when they're supposed to and they did a good job. They were really good about working around my schedule. It was medium sized palm tree, they came out it and did it. I was happy with the job. I appreciate the fact that they worked around my schedule, they had difficulty finding my house and they were really good about calling in letting me know that they were lost and were on their way. I thought that was pretty nice just to keep me informed as to where they were. It was a very quick, fast job and it was a good deal. They didn't try to sell me anything else. It was a great price.

I was looking for quotes to have a tree removed and the stump ground. Beaver's was one of three highly rated businesses whose name I found on Angie's List. I used their web page to request a quote, and received a call that day from Rebecca. We arranged an appointment at my home at 4:30. At approximately 4:10, Rebecca called and said she was running late and would be on site about 20 minutes late. Around 4:45, Rebecca arrived. I didn't realize it was her, as she was driving a private vehicle with another person in it. She came to the door, identified herself, and proceeded to inspect the tree and ask questions about the work we wanted performed. I did inform her that I was soliciting quotes from several service providers. When Rebecca was done writing the quote, she handed it to me and asked, "Are we close?" I can only assume she wanted to know what the other service providers had quoted, which, of course, would have been highly unethical for me to discuss. I thanked her and she went on her way. I was truly disappointed in this vendor, as their general appearance and demeanor was unprofessional compared to the others who I received quotes from. To add to my concerns, their quote was nearly 1-1/2 times (150%) that of the other vendors, which was also a concern, as I felt like they were looking to negotiate the price when they delivered the quote. I expect vendors to give me their best price up front, and not have to haggle as if I was buying a used car. Compared to other vendors for similar services, I cannot in good faith recommend this one.

After I had purchase the Big Deal I received an email message through Angie's List message service from Beaver Tree Service requesting several dates that we could schedule the service and what type of service we required. I informed Rebecca that we were looking for some of the tree trimming to be done at the second story level because branches were rubbing against our roof. We didn't hear back from her with an appointment date, so I had to call her. She said she thought she had contacted everyone who had requested a Big Deal, but was sorry that we had been overlooked. We set the appointment date for Monday, 11/25/13. Chucky, Pilson and Jose arrived at the scheduled time of 9:00 a.m. to give us an estimate. They did not bring the equipment with them to do the trimming at our two-story house roof and said they did not know it was needed. After Jose called the office he reported that they can do that part on Friday 11/29/13 when the lift is available. We agreed to it, but were disappointed about the miscommunication between the office and the crew. The three of them were very professional in their dealings with us and they had a good division of labor. Jose handled the pole saw while Pilson climed into the trees. Chucky took care of shortening the cut wood so it would all fit in their truck for transport off our property. They took a reasonable lunch break and had finished up by 3:00 p.m. They cleaned our yard of debris; only small twigs remained. Payment would not be required until they completely finished the job on Friday. On Friday morning I confirmed an arrival time since they had not given us one before they left on Monday. They had to wait for the recycling facility to open to unload from another job, so they would not arrive until after 10:30 a.m. and, yes, they had the lft with them. Only Chucky and Pilson came; Pilson handled the pole saw from the ground and he took care of stacking the debris. Chucky handled the lift and trimmed the branches from three trees that were touching the edge of the roof. Each tree was cut back enough that it would be a while before we had that problem again. The lift was handled carefully so that it did not bump into our home or the porches. Again they cleaned all the debris from our yard. Payment was taken care of over the phone by us with the office. I appreciated that procedure since we initiated the call and knew that we were talking to someone responsible.

I would hire Beaver's Tree Service again. They were efficient, neat, cleaned up all the debris they removed from our trees and were in and out in a two hour window. We will definitely hire them for any future tree work.

Excellent they did outstanding job.

They delivered the wood on a Saturday. I asked them to put the wood in my driveway and when I got home there was a nicely stacked pile of wood. It filled my 4ft x 4ft firewood rack. These guys are great.

This the 3rd time I've use Beaver Tree Service. They have always done a great job. If need arises in the future I would use them again.

I was not at home when they did the work. I was very pleased as when I got home I had seen that they did the work well. They trimmed the trees but they still left some aesthetic shape to them as well.

They came out as soon as they could -- there were a number of days where it was raining. I wasn't here during the work, but I saw the final product and it was fine. They cleared the limbs from around the structure and the tree was still standing. The communication was good. I only wish I had been present during the process so I could ask additional questions. They didn't leave any mess behind, either.

They were punctual and courteous. Did a thorough job on the trees and checked with me periodically to see if I was happy with what they had done.

It was very good. They did a really good job. They were very professional and they showed up on time. They did what I asked them to do and they did a couple of services for me. There was an extra 100$ charge because I had them to do more.

A crew of 4 showed up to trim one palm tree. They were professional and did a great job. Only took about 20 minutes. Happy with the price and service. They cleaned everything up. Highly recommended,

my first appointment was with Rebecca who met with me after work to discuss what I needed done and the price. She was on time and very easy to talk to and we agreed upon a price and set up the time for the job. On Saturday a crew of four arrived on time and took a few minutes to review what was to be done and then went quickly to work. They worked as a team and the job was done in a little over an hour. They cleaned up very well, even to the point of cleaning off my entire roof where leaves had fallen over time .I was very impressed with their politeness, concern that I was happy with the job. Overall a pleasant experience....quite refreshing to know there are companies and people that are still willing to give you a fair price and do a good job.

Initial consultation was pleasant, punctual, and detailed. Written estimate with explanation of services was provided. Company was able to perform the work and finish earlier than promised. Work crew was professional, courteous, and efficient with great attention to detail. All concerns were addressed and immediately attended to. Clean up after the job was thorough and complete. Used specially advertised Angle's List deal. Would definitely recommend Beaver's Tree Service to others.

It was amazing! The crew was polite and social. They worked great as a team. They did an extraordinary amount of work in an incredibly short period of time! They did a terrific job cleaning up when they were done the job. They went above any beyond our expectations. Our yard looks amazing. We would definately recommend using Beaver's and we will definately use them again!

The crew arrived after some confusion on the date of service. They came promptly when I called to inquire about the time of service. They came with a more than adequate crew to cut several large limbs off two trees and trim several bushes. They brought a wood chipper and meticulously cleaned up all the branches and leaves. The crew boss was vigilant in overseeing the crew safety while on the roof and in making sure I was satisfied with the work done. I will use Beaver tree service again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out great. I have used them since then and they have a current Angie's List Big Deal that I plan on purchasing. I talked to them about this last week.

Rebecca was very nice to work with - I called to get a quote and she had a gentleman in my area, so he came right over. They trimmed the oak while I was at work, but other than having a great looking oak & palm, I wouldn't even know they were there. I just planted flowers under the oak & they all survived, so I'm happy! I would hire Beaver again in a heartbeat.
