We had another tree service company for many years. I finally gave up on them coming out after giving them a couple of months to schedule to be in our area. During this wait, my palms became so overgrown and had large bunches of seed pods which were very heavy and sagging low. I looked on Angie's to find a new tree trimming company who would be prompt and reasonable. I called Beaver's Tree Service on 10/23/15 and they came out the same day for an estimate. Their price was very reasonable and we scheduled the work for 10/28/15 before noon. It had rained on the 27th and the morning of the 28th. I called them around noon to make sure we were still scheduled. She assured me we were. The guys (4 of them) arrived about 2:00 p.m. I walked them around to the back and side to show them the work to be done. I also told them our front yard had just been sodded so to please be careful. They were. The guys all got to work immediately and were finished in 30 minutes. They cleaned all of the areas and took all of the debris with them. I didn't have to leave any debris at the curb. After loading their truck, they also cut off a large branch on our begonia tree for no additional charge. They finished by using the leaf blower to clean our driveway. Everything was done in less than one hour. I was very pleased and will contact them again.

They came early ,and were very polite. In discussing what we needed done, the "big deal" price did not cover the work. They gave me a price for an extra $300.00 and did everything I wanted. They were professional, did an excellent job and left the yard very clean. All debris was taken away.

I knew I needed a provider that had a bucket truck because I had several large branches that were hanging over a fence. I sent Beaver a message to which I had a very quick response. I called and an appointment for that same morning for an estimate and consult. (I already had 2 other estimates done). I had read their reviews, liked what I read and because they are a local small business. They were also able to do the job that week!!! The crew were professional, went back over what I wanted done and made sure I was happy with the job when complete.

Crew leader Rob set the tone. Very positive and action oriented customer service. The crew did a super job trimming and hauling the clippings away. Would not hesitate to use their services again.

They removed the oak tree from the palm, now the palm looks great. They cut down the two(2) sago palms, to the point cant tell if a plant was there. They cleaned up and they went a step further, they noticed the palm they took the oak tree from needed trimming, so, they trimmed it. They did an excellent job, neat, courteous and professional, have used them many times in past, always outstanding work.

They didn't show up for two appointments. They told me my tree was dead, and they offered to charge me a fortune to remove some trees because the dead one was leaning, and that the spanish moss needed to be removed. In fact, the tree is obviously living as seen by the green leaves growing on it, and it is leaning no more than any other trees. Also spanish moss is native and removing it does nothing beneficial. Beaver tree service was unreliable and lied to me about my trees. I would not recommend them to anyone.

This is a two part review. The tree removal went very, very well. I lost a couple of other plants in the process.....BUT because of the crews attention to detail they saved several other plants, I was very happy about this. They moved a very large stag horn fern hanging directly under the oak tree and got it back up after the job was done......it took 5 of us to do that. Great crew of young guys.....could not have been happier with their work. The office lady Peggy was also pleasant to work with.....BUT, my and my neighbors front yards were damaged buy the very very heavy truck loaded with the entire trunk of the tree [ they backed their truck up onto the grass yards ] and left 3-4" deep tracks. I spoke to Peggy about this and was assured they would come back and repair the damage. Against my better judgement I went ahead and paid them in full.......Everybody knows better than that, but Peggy assured me [ we even joked about trusting them to do what they said ] that "no problem" they would return to fix the damage. Well guess what !! They never came, never heard a word from her. So I spent more of my money on soil and grass seed to fix it. If a business cannot be trusted to do what they say, then I cannot recommend them to others.

They came out right away when I called. Price was good. I won't use them in the future.

They were young and energetic, but they could have been a little more professional. In communication with them, we had some disagreements on maybe how it needed to be done and what needed to be done. We came to an agreement, but I just thought the communication skills and the customer service needed to be a little better. They could have also paid more attention to plants I had under the trees, to make sure they weren't being damaged. They did their job good, but there were other areas they could improve on.

OUTSTANDING! Responsive with respect to quote and work, going over and above to make sure that we were happy at each phases. Left the place clean and did the job at a very reasonable rate. I would use them again and recommend them highly.

They were very punctual, professional and cleaned up beautifully. Some of the branches hit a couple of my shrubs but other than that they did a great job.

I would only like to comment on the quotes given, I did not choose to go with them because of price. Within two days, I had five tree service companies provide estimates to deal with a fallen tree and some other areas of concern. Beaver's tree service quoted more than double all the other companies, which was a surprise with them being so highly rated on here. I was told it would cost $2,200 to take away the fallen tree and cut off part of what was still standing. For the same work, all other companies quoted between $790 and $1100. Huge difference!

Awesome! Everyone was prompt, courteous, professional and reasonably priced. They trimmed my 4 palms and they were beautiful when they left. A couple of days later we had a big rainstorm. 4 fronds fell against the trunk of the trees. I called and explained the situation and offered to pay for them to come back. They said no charge and they were out in a few days to correct the problem. I would highly recommend them and will use them going forward.

We did not use the company for our tree/shrub trimming. We called and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, they called and said that another job was taking longer than expected and they needed to reschedule. We rescheduled for the next week. They called on the day of the appointment and said they needed to reschedule due to the weather. We did not reschedule at that time and said we would call back. We called back a few weeks later and set an appointment. We were told we were the first appointment of the day, so there would be no trouble with rescheduling. On the day of the appointment, they called at the time of the appointment and said another job was taking longer and they would be a little late. We said ok and waited 2 hours for them to arrive for the new time. At that time, we called the company and they said they were waiting for the weather to clear at the other job to be able to finish and they could reschedule for next week. They were willing to reschedule but each time we rescheduled they needed to reschedule again. Ridiculous!

No service provided; however, they may be very qualified with services they can perform.

Well. It is what I've come to expect from Beaver's Tree Service. I am a repeat customer and will continue to use this service provider because they price their services reasonably and perform better than many of the tree services that I have used in the past. I trust Beaver's Tree Service and they have not let me down. They continue to impress me by doing a great job for a reasonable price.

The servicemen with Beaver's Tree Service did a good job.

They did exactly what I wanted and even discussed with me what was really needed to save me money.

They came to the house, started work right away. They cut the hedges down where I told them to. They cleaned up the job. The men were courteous and very professional The job done by them was extremely labor intensive Excellent job, have already recommended them to other people in neighborhood

Three scheduled appointments, came an hour after the 3rd... after I finished my first review.

I used Beaver Tree Service in April of last year and was extremely happy with them in every way, so much so that I recommended them to my neighbor. Unfortunately, my experience this year was exactly the opposite. The Company sent someone to do the estimate on Monday 4/27/2015. I immediately called the office and scheduled the trimming/shaping of my oak tree for Friday May 1 before noon. When they didn't arrive by 11:45 a.m. on May 1, I called the office and was told that "they must have decided to do me last" and probably wouldn't be here until after 3:00 p.m. I asked her to verify that since I had other things to do that day. She called me back and said they would arrive around 3:00 p.m. Upon arrival at 4:10 p.m., the driver jumped out of the truck and said they didn't know anything about my job until about 10 minutes earlier when they got an email. I responded that 'that wasn't what the woman in the office told me so somebody was lying." The other young guy started walking to the back of my property saying 'this is the Palm tree, right?" I responded 'no, that tree isn't even mine and I'm getting this small oak tree trimmed. I have the estimate right here in my pocket." He said "they told us it was a Palm tree." They obviously cannot manage their business schedule and apparently don't need or want small jobs.

The guys came and cut the tree down yesterday. They were very polite, worked hard and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. Today the stump person came out and did an excellent job of getting it down to the ground. Beaver's was one of two highly rated Angie's List providers we received estimates from. They were priced almost identically but these guys made us feel more confident and comfortable so we went with them. We are very glad we did and will use them in the future if we have a need.

They came right out to do the quote and then immediately sent the quote with some mix-ups as to the correct e-mail address. We thought it was a bit high, but went ahead with it. They did not show up for the initial scheduled appointment so I called and they rescheduled (I was a little irritated as I had made arrangements with the security gate, etc, but let it go). The second time they came out and trimmed the trees, but not enough; so I asked them to come back out and Becky was great about it - no attitude or anything. However, one of the guys called when he got to the house (we were at work) and it didn't seem that he got appropriate information about what more needed to be done and at first he seemed to be having an issue with it stating that "for $300 I wanted to him to take up the whole canopy?", to which I informed him that no it was $540 and that was not what I wanted them to do. Based on the lower amount he referenced for the job and they way it was referenced, it seemed that $300 was standard for a two tree trim (this was my impression) - I sort of got the sense that I got a higher quote based on being an Angie's list customer, because he quickly back pedaled and was suddenly very cordial and accommodating. They did a great job, but again, the scheduling and fee were a bit dubious. Overall, good service but they need to improve their PR and charge uniform fees.
