Very good. Saturday A.M. call - service was there within 1.5 hours. A little higher price for Saturday time. Wait till Monday if not a refrigerator.

The repair man arrived on time and also responded the day that I called; he determined the problem and fixed it quickly and had a pleasant personality.

The Martin's previously repaired my refrigerator and they did an awesome job. I was confident they would do a good job in repairing my microwave..

They were here the same day, which was good. They were very professional, and their quality of work was fine. I have used them many times, and they are a great company. They are prompt, do what they say they will do and advise me before they do anything. I have been very pleased with them. I have no way of knowing how their price would compare with others, but it seems reasonable to me; they serviced two things the last time around and charged me $175. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Everything was fine. They came right away and did the job. The price is a little high but not outrageous. It's good so far.

Recently My washing Machine had broke, I was looking to repair the washer and figured it would be somewhat of a cost to bare. I called for an estimate. When I spoke of the make and model the tech finished my sentence completely describing in detail what I had experienced from the washer and informed me what would happen next to the washer if I chose to fix at a cost of more than $400.00 dollars. You see the washer was a high end one which has been prone to many repairs and Martin's has been fixing them consistently, Instead of swiping my money and running till the next repair they gave me great advise and I just purchased a new washer.

Excellent! On site within 1 hour, technician called to let me know he was on route. Cleaned behind unit and top as a courtesy!

They accommodated my request to do it today and dispatched a driver to my house even though I was not scheduled. The response was quick and honest, he was a nice guy, and he trouble shot the problems really quick.

Scary to start with since there was a 50/50 chance I'd have to buy a new freezer and they don't make one to match my fridge any more. I might have had to remove a wall and get two new boxes if it had not gone right. Whew !!!!

My built-in microwave began doing funny things after several years of service and finally stopped heating at all. I knew that there was some problem with the way the door-controlled on/off mechanism worked, because it had "acted up" before, but always fixed itself. This time, it was defunct for sure--the oven might or might not "come on" (i.e., light, fan, turntable going 'round.") But it stopped heating. When I called Martin's Family Appliance and discussed the problem w/Tommy, he went through possible causes and options. I sent photos of the oven in situ, and we determined that, if I had to replace the oven, it would likely also require engaging a cabinetmaker--a custom fit in the current space could be difficult, and opting to mount a new microwave over the range top would also require altering the cabinetry over the range top--and I have expensive custom cabinets who were made by someone no longer in business. I decided to have them make a service call ($75) w/intent of pulling the oven and either repairing it or having the service tech measure everything so we could begin planning replacement. Tommy got the model & serial # of my curent oven and, when Richard (I believe) came out the next day, he brought parts for the suspected problem, pulled the oven, and fixed it! He also measured everything while he was here, in case we ultimately have to go the replacement route. The entire experience was positive--professional and courteous service all the way around.

Richard was an excellent repairman. He was thorough and exceptionally knowledgeable. He gave us considerable valuable information about how to use and maintain our dishwasher properly and effectively.

I like almost everything about Martin's Family Appliance, and would like to use them again,but might not. (I did check "yes" above however). They have decent products, show up on time for appointments, use friendly and knowledgable servicemen, and do good repairs. The ONLY problem or hesitation I have for future use is one of the owners, Chris Martin. He is VERY difficult to deal with. His personality is (to be tactful) challenging. He comes across either as morose, or depending on his mood or whatever, arrogant. I know this is not my imagination b/c it has "happened" on all the various occasions I have dealt with him which have been at least 3 maybe 4 or more. Also, I have read other reviews (elsewhere) that have also prominently mentioned not being able to deal with Chris Martin easily. I would sum it up by saying that Chris Martin is the large fly in an otherwise easy-to-apply ointment,and I may or may not be able to handle using them again BECAUSE of him. It is a shame b/c otherwise they are the first I would call for repair work, and I would say they are "competitive" but not overly so in purchases.

Chris spent at least 15 minutes explaining the probable causes and expected repair costs. He gave me enough information to make the decision to replace the dryer rather than spending money on repair for a machine that was over 15 years old. I purchased a new Speed Queen from Martins the following day and it was delivered the next day. Very good service and very nice people.

I telephoned Martin Family Appliance Center to find out what they would recommend as to repair or replacement. Spoke to a young man who took time to explain what might be wrong and the cost of repair versus a new unit. We decided to try restarting the unit (which has so far fixed the problem). I was impressed that he spent time helping me and didn't recommend that I bring the unit in so that he could charge for his time.

This is one company I am truly pleased to recommend. The sales staff answered all my questions about differences among the various brands and models of their washers and dryers. Martin's knows their stuff and they have a long history here in Gainesville. The delivery and installation of the appliances went flawlessly. The installation tech arrived on time and showed me just how the washer and dryer operated. He was very pleasant and efficient, and made sure to remove all the extra packing etc when he left. It's a pleasure to see a business that is so well versed about their products and try to make sure their customers are satisfied. I heartily recommend Martin's.

They were prompt, polite, professional & did their job excellently. The oven & latch are still working... and I appreciate their unmatched consideration of my home, my time & my checkbook. I can't say enough good things about this repair experience. Honest, accurate & SOOO refreshing to deal with!

Excellent. Quickly brought it in having to disassemble to get it through doors, re-assembled and did installation. All done well.
