Daniel and his team did Exactly what they said they would do. When Daniel did his inspection prior to the work being done, He said "You will never know we were here" True to his word, there was no need to clean up after them, spotless!! 3 or 4 neighbours have asked for his services and they were pleasantly surprised with the results. Daniel was on time for scheduled estimate and I received written quote for removing limbs that day. His estimate was competitive with others. He and crew arrived on time the day of service. They were all neat and polite. They completed the job, cleaned up the area, and even took some smaller limbs we had left by the road for pickup. My patio and yard looked like they hadn't even been here. I chose Family First, not for price, but because Daniel presented himself in a professional and polite manner, was knowledgeable about what the job would require. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs tree or limb removal.

Excellent, first rate service. Knowledgeable , professional and prompt. Only downside is service is pricey. But you certainly get your money's worth.

Higher price than I am used to paying but they were great, did an awesome job and cleaned up and hauled everything away!

When it comes to the actual service of removing the tree, excellent job. Came through, cleanly removed the tree and left with hardly a leaf left to show of it. As for actual interaction with whomever I was discussing details and financials with, it was miserable. Initially I was pushed around to pay in cash even when I suggested that electronic payments were preferred and that it would be utterly inconveniencing to retrieve cash. Ultimately I caved to their constant request for cash and withdrew the cash required. Next came the first day of the job, they came by and realized that the tree was too big for the space left in their truck and rescheduled for a following day, understandable A day before they were supposed to come, I was informed that they would have to reschedule due to lack of clarity between them and their organizer. Okay. We explicitly discussed only doing the job while I was present and discussed waiting a week, completely okay. The very next day, they showed up while I was at work, told me they would take the tree right then and that we could meet up later for payment. Irked me that I could not be present for it but what was to be done? The final debacle: Remember in the opening act when they had insisted I retrieve cash? Upon completion of the project, they suggested I pay electronically because it would be inconvenient to meet up for a cash transaction- to which I kindly explained is a burden for me as USAA does not offer many (if any in my area) ways of depositing cash. So we arranged for a meeting date to exchange the cash. The night before said arrangement, I am initially told to just leave the money in an envelope under my doorstep for them which I agree to after suggesting a declined counteroffer of meeting up on my lunch break. After I agree to it, they reneged yet again and suggested I drop it off into their bank account for them. At this point, both parties had enough of this discussion. I decided to just pay online electronically and be done with interacting with whomever was on the other side of that phone. TLDR: One bad egg with seemingly poor management and relation skills should not be the forebearer of an otherwise terrific job. -Tree Removal Capabilities: 5/5 -Interaction with financial rep: 0/5 Would suggest using this company for tree removal as they did a terrific job, would not suggest dealing with their financial requests and just pay the invoice online at the end.

The owner of the company was very knowledgeable and didn't badmouth his competitors, had only nice things to say about a previous company he worked for. The crew went above and beyond. The tree climber seemed to even enjoy his job and nobody dropped the "F" bomb while they were working in my yard which was nice. I will likely be using them again in the future.

Family First Tree Care did an excellent job removing two mature pine trees and one smaller one as well as trimming my crepe myrtel. The showed up on time, cleaned up all in good time. very reasonable priced.

He was able to listen to my concerns and offer suggestions without focusing on what he would gain from steering me one way or the other. His work ethic is great from showing up when promised to sticking to our plan. I would definitely recommend Daniel to help a person problem solve for the best options, and, to do a great job.
