The first person that did the service (6 months ago) was young and good enough. Basic solid service. The second person who did the service was more mature, interactive and knowledgeable. He recommended replaceable HEPA filters and told me I should get a bulb for the ultraviolet light fixture. He ordered a case of filters and the bulb, too, and showed up when the products were in (no extra charge). Oh, and he put in 2lbs of freon into the compressor. Very thorough and careful service. Communicating with the office is also an excellent experience. Professional, friendly and helpful. She calls ahead for appointments and when the technician is on his way!

This company is a perfect example of A+ customer service. You can hire them without a doubt.

I ordered a3 ton Trane 13 SEER package unit (all in one on the roof). The install crew came and installed the unit, new thermostat, and were very careful not to disturb the "dog house" on the roof which would have caused roof leaks. It all worked great until I cranked it down to 70 degrees and the unit froze up. Steve came out and assessed the problem which was an air flow restriction. He had to go back to the Trane manufacturer, and get specific parts to make my system work adequately. He has been on top of every aspect of making the system work, and me happy. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I was at home in Northern Virginia when the 23 year old air conditioner in my Florida condo stopped working. Having checked Angie's list, I called Island Air and told them about my situation and that I would fly down the following week. Steve was right on time for our appointment, showed me the problem, and made two recommendations for a replacement unit. Knowing that I was only planning to stay for a week, he re-worked his schedule so they could install the new a/c the next day. That was a great relief since the temperature was in the upper 80's. The two young men who did the installation were courteous, careful, respectful, and efficient. The only glitch was that they brought a thermostat that was not programmable. They promised to replace it later in the week. That didn't bother me at all considering they had worked me in with less than 24 hours notice. PJ showed up, as promised to install the thermostat. He did a great job and even went beyond expectations by assisting me with moving a microwave. Every time work was scheduled, I would get a call from the office confirming that they were on the way. What a great way to run a business!

They are so honest and they want to keep you as a customer forever. They accomplished this with me. The entire staff here is the most friendly I've encounter. the professionalism is beyond words. they don't want you to have anything you don't need.

He saved me about $300 to $400 by telling me that he could just change where the service comes in the house instead of installing a new circuit breaker. He did such a great job my wife never even knew he was doing the work. We would absolutely use him for our future electrical needs.

Great! The woman at the office was friendly and professional, the availability of appointments was reasonable (within 2 weeks of request), and I received an appointment reminder call. The technician showed up on time, was friendly and professional and took his time. He also re-iterated the annual service contract deliverables for us. Our particular machines are only a year or so old, so there wasn't any repairs or anything to be done, but he was thorough nonetheless.

It was a great experience. Steve came to my home to give me an estimate. He was on time and professional. He did not try to sell me things I did not need. The crew was on time and very professional. They cleaned up their work. They unit worked exactly as they said it would. The company followed up on the product. I had had a problem with air flow and they came out as promised and balanced the air ducts after the unit was installed.

They were amazing! The two men who installed the new ac were here at nine thirty in the morning and did not finish till seven that night. I never knew they were there installing anything. The best part was, they cleaned up after themselves. I had to clean up nothing! I was so impressed!

The job was much more difficult then was expected. They had to completely disassemble the air handler to get it to fit in the closet. Coolant lines had to be re-run, etc. However with all the extra work the price did not change. In addition to my house I have also had 4 AC Units replaced at my place of Business. Every time it has been a very professional and complete job. I would not use anyone else!

They found a small part that had broken and repaired it for much less than I'd expected.
