.Used new material, and its much better than the older stuff. Haven't had any problems with the work. Really great system no leakage or anything, air flow is nice been having for nine years.

.The services were great. Have used them twice on duct work and air conditioning system. It went well, they inform you on what they're going to be doing. Gave a time frame and came on time.

I cannot say enough good things about AAA! After dealing with no shows from one air-conditioner provider and begging for an estimate from another "AngiesList" recommended provider for over two weeks only to receive an estimate for an entirely new unit for over $3000 without even addressing their own diagnostics, we called AAA. They responded immediately and sent out a technician that day. He confirmed the problem that the previous company had diagnosed but took the time to look up the warranty on the unit and found out that it was indeed still under warranty saving us several thousand dollars. We scheduled the core replacement for the next day. Two technicians returned on time, replaced and repaired the unit, refilled it and checked our other unit. They were responsive, professional, friendly, timely and first class. We are now cooling properly. This is a first class company.

Frank started by changing the filter in the house unit, then proceeded to the roof where the unit is located. He performed: INSPECTION OF COILS, FLUSH OUT DRAIN LINE, CLEAN & CHECK CONDENSATE PUMP IF REQUIRED, APPLY ALGAE TREATMENT, CALIBRATE & CHECK THERMOSTAT, CHECK FREON PRESSURE, OIL FAN MOTORS, CHECK ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS, CHECK TEMPERATURE SPLITS, CLEAN & CHECK UV LIGHT, CHECK BLOWER SECTION & INSPECT HEATING SECTION.

Went great, Bob came in figured out the issue fast, spelled out the options and fixed it. Hopefully I can make this ten year old unit live for a few more years. Thanks guys.

We had a 2 zone system replaced. I spent a considerable amount of time learning about the different manufacturers and the importance of the installation. The manufacturer needed to be a name brand that had a strong reliability track record and would be broadly serviced by local companies with easy access to parts if needed. The manufacturer also needed to display a history of standing behind their product. Their warranty needed to be at least 10 years. Carrier met these criteria. The installer needed to be an authorized representative of the manufacturer, have NATE certified technicians who install and service the equipment, have am A rating on Angie?s List reviews, and have a A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau. The installer also needed to display a history of standing behind their work. Finally, the price needed to be competitive. AAA Modern met all of these criteria. This means that if I am not 100% happy with the system during the first year, they will work to correct the issue or remove the system and refund my money. Included in the purchase is a 2 year labor warranty, 1 year of maintenance, and 12 filters. Hans was my point of contact and he did a great job of following up with my questions and making sure I had all the information I needed. The actual install took one day. The crew was polite and left my home with the units running and all areas clean. I had two issues with the installation: the condensation drain had a very slow leak and one unit made a whistling sound when the fan came on. AAA was very responsive and sent techs out to correct the problem. It took a couple of tries to correct the whistling sound, but Josh found the problem and corrected it. The systems work quietly now. If you are looking to replace your AC systems, save yourself some time and call AAA. The combination of price, professionalism, guarantee, quality of work, and quality of product can?t be beat. I highly recommend them.

Hans came to the house, mailed me an estimate, and after I accepted the proposal, everything went off without a hitch. I was kept informed of all dates and they arrived when they said they would. It took 2 days--one to remove the old gas heating ductwork (really--the house was built in 1959 with central gas heat, in Miami!!), put new holes in the ceiling for the vents, and put the unit in the backyard, and the 2nd day to wire everything and finish ductwork. They cleaned up after themselves and kept me updated throughout the day of their progress. It works great-- Love my new AC!!

From the first point of contact on the telephone to the end of job everything was perfect and drama free. No attempt to up sell. Joshue identified the problem in 10 minutes and had the part replaced in 20 minutes.

Called for an estimate for replacement of 26yo Trane recently purchased condo. Hans came and did a survey and gave a quote. I was looking for a top of the line high Seet unit 19 or above. Hans did a great job securing an extremely attractive price for the unit. Everything was done according to specs and installation crew was very polite, professional and cleaned up any debris. The job was don on time and in less than a work day. Hans came by to check on the job during and after completion. This was perhaps the best change out of an AC system that I have had. No surprises, no additional charges, everything exactly as stated. System has not had any problems since installation. Highly recommend Hans and AA Modern. Everyone I spoke to, office, installers, schedulers were polite, courteous and eager to make things happen.

Josue was professional, polite and didn't try to sell unnecessary services or products. He reassured me my cooling unit itself was in excellent shape.

Eric is the best technician at AAA Modern Air, He is highly competent and very professional. I trust him implicitly. because his work and his recommendations are always excellent. AAA is always prompt and if there will be a delay they always call to let you know when the technician will arrive.

I use them in the house that I live in now. They put a brand new A/C in, probably a year and a half ago. What happened was, I did a service plan with them for the other house. Then what happened was, my tenants let me know that the air conditioner was leaking. So then, the service guy went out there and said, "You have a problem. You're going to need a new air conditioner." Because I've used them in the past and they did a great job, I used them again for that. I use them for anything related to the air conditioner.

Everything went well, they originally came out Saturday but they needed roof access so they came back promptly Monday morning.

Declines service. Had a second opinion from a different A/C company who said the unit did not need to be replaced at all. Showed me visible mildew and mold covering the interior fan. Cleaned, sanitized, installed UV lamp - smell is gone! AAA Modern is in the business of selling new units - scam artists.

Eric is great. We have used AAA since installation new AC in 2009 and have a service contract. Professional and reliable. Recommend often.

just incredibly grateful for them. fast, responsive, fair, had the right part with him, amazing job, nice guy, very professional. cannot say enough nice things. He even recommended i DONT do some things i was thinking of doing eventhough he'd have benefitted financially by it. In a year or so i need a new system, which is a huge investment. I will use them FOR SURE. no doubt in my mind i will trust them to do the right job.

On Monday 3/9 my wife noticed the a/c vents were pushing warm air instead of cold, (or at least cool air). Checked thermostat controls and was able to get fan only. No breakers were tripped. Spent a couple of hours (an advantage of being retired) checking circuitry. Thermostat had power in and out, but contactor relay showed metal shavings and pitted contact surface. Got a new contactor but my slow reflexes accidentally shorted the 24v thermostat wires, immediately frying the transformer in the air handler.(A disadvantage of getting old enough to retire). Next day I toyed with idea of replacing the transformer. Decided not to because it involved moving too much stuff to access it. And also, if that didn't work, the only relatively inexpensive part left to replace would be the dread capacitor. An experienced mechanic can quickly and safely discharge a capacitor, but I had just inadvertently fried a transformer, demonstrating my lack of eye/hand coordination. Lesson learned. Checked the boilerplate for the Rheem model number before making any calls, and happened to glance at the date of manufacture. Amazed to find April 1993. At the very least that meant I had it installed in late '93 or '94. Hard to believe my unit had been running problem free for 21 years. Of course it doesn't look very pretty by now, but hey........... Next, pulled up Angie's List and spent an hour or so reading member reviews of several HVAC companies. Narrowed it down to two places AAA Modern Air was my pick, mainly because the minuscule amount of poor reviews were all followed up by a satisfactory (to me, anyway) response by the company. I called around 5PM Tuesday and the office promised a callback that evening. A little later I got a call from Bob who asked for a brief description of the problem, made sure I didn't have an emergency situation, and scheduled an appointment for Thursday afternoon. Got a call from Bob late afternoon Thursday confirming my address, etc. and said he'd be at the house in half an hour. He arrived shortly in a professionally outfitted van, wearing a company uniform and stepped from the van smiling and offering a friendly handshake as he introduced himself. I trust my gut reaction when meeting someone the first time, and I liked Bob. Hopefully, things would go well. We went over, in more detail, the problem, and then what I had done on my own to make things worse. Bob sympathized, thanked me for not "forgetting" to mention my involvement, and first thing he did was make sure contactor wires were disconnected. He quickly began a straightforward diagnosis starting with confirmation of the fried transformer's bad amp/volt readings. After quoting the cost of remove/replace, he installed the new transformer. With current flowing, the thermostat was set to 55 deg. and the condenser fan kicked on, but the compressor remained ominously silent. Bob began a physical check of all connections in the outside unit and quickly discovered a burned terminal wire on the capacitor. Shut breakers, carefully remove capacitor and replace. Breakers back on, thermostat signals relay, current to capacitor and compressor motor, and thanks to Bob's expertise, everything begins to sound just right. A few minutes while the system pressurizes, and the wife steps out, smiling with a thumbs up. Bob hooked up his pressure gauge to check for Freon level, then replaced the panels and checked his tools while the gauge obtained a steady reading. The results were within accepted standards, and thankfully didn't need any expensive replenishment. Bob and I had a brief discussion about the general condition of the a/c and what to consider when weighing the difference between future repairs or buying a new unit. For now, everything is running fine, and hopefully I won't have to make any decisions for at least this year. My experience with AAA Modern Air was excellent, and they certainly deserve the great reviews they have gotten. My original phone call was handled as promised. From there all the responses continued to be as promised. Bob Ford is a senior tech with many years of experience, and his expertise in asking the right questions, and diagnosing quickly and accurately, inspired confidence in his ability to perform the proper repairs as needed, without any "um...let's try this, maybe that'll work." Bob was happy to spend some time discussing new technology and efficiency in new a/c units now available, but he never implied that I needed one immediately. He was attentive, thorough and honest as well as friendly. The last thing was a call from the their office Friday. A very nice lady (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) called to make sure everything was okay as the weekend was coming up. Nice touch. I'm very happy I found AAA Modern Air on Angie's List; and especially glad to have Bob as the mechanic who handled the repairs.

The service technician arrived promptly as scheduled. His inspection was thorough and professional.

As far as I know it went right.

We were told we needed a whole new unit by someone else a day earlier. We weren't exactly planning on spending 3500 dollars. Lol So we decided to get a second opinion. We tried AAA Modern Air this afternoon based on good reviews, and thank god we did! We simply needed a capacitor, and the job cost $208. Big difference! :-) Simply put, they were professional and HONEST.
