I really like the guy ,there was a difficulty with finding the problem. it ended up being a wire but not discovered until the second time out . Tech had ordered a computer board and when put in still no power. Then he went through the wiring and determined the high power wire was not connected. I was not expected to pay what I payed for just labor.

I think that they should take a look at this man because he is going around taking money from people. They should investigate this man because he could do the same thing to senior citizens.

Phil was the first to respond to my request for service on our dishwasher. He informed me of his $75 initial trip charge and we scheduled a service. He came out as scheduled. His diagnosis was - you need a new ?board?. And while you?re replacing the main board you should replace the top panel board as well. Wasn?t sure of the pricing until he located them. He was to call with that information. In the meantime, I researched dishwasher repairs and concluded that if a repair was going to cost more than 50% of replacement, may as well replace the dishwasher. I chased Phil for pricing. He provided pricing that was going to be over $500 and I said, no thanks, I?ll replace it, as many machines were on sale for Labor Day. Costco had models in the $6-700 range, which included installation, haul away and 3 years of warranty. I told Phil we were going to replace. He asked if I?d sell him the old one, which I felt was odd. Then he said our machine needed the less expensive top board and he?d make the repair for the price of that board (under $200, plus $35 to install. And the original $75). He?d bring both boards just in case. I said I didn?t want both boards that I was willing to do the job for the approximate 300. After several days of trying to contact him, he texted he?d been at hospital as his sister in law was having complications with a pregnancy. He could be out Wednesday. He showed up and started working on the bottom board. I mentioned I thought we were replacing the top board and he said. I?m sure this bottom board is what is needed. Not thinking, I just let him continue. He got the board in, put the machine back in place and tested it. He told me the charge was $495. He commented he felt it better to fix appliances rather than replace them - Hello! Let the buyer beware! Request a written estimate before proceeding. I feel like I got the old bait and switch treatment.
