They came out a second time when I had a leak and they were very responsive and repaired it immediately.

Robert did a great job in sitting down with me and walking me through the entire process for replacing the roof. He was very thorough and was able to answer my questions in English. I had received four other quotes and he was able to explain the differences in their approach to replacing the roof. (I had done a side by side comparison to help me understand the quotes received from the vendors) They were able to start the job within the time frame specified and completed the job in two days. They did a great job with the roof!

I have a beautiful new roof now. They do such a good job. They cleaned up everything so well. I am very very happy with them. They had it inspected afterwards. They were so wonderful to work with. They were quick, and on schedule, it was a one day project and they only quit while it rained. The crew was very polite. They explained their products and work so thoroughly. The communication was very good between them and myself. Overall I was very happy with him. I had an inspector come out and look at the roof and I got a tremendous refund on my Home Owners insurance because the inspector found that John Hogan had done everything perfectly! I am very, very happy with him! I recommend him to everyone!

poorly. The guy who came out was talking down roofers in the area, said whoever did this roof did a terrible job. He was not professional in the least. And then I never heard back from them with a quote!

Overall very good.....Justin is a polite young man. His estimate was significantly less that Albright Roofing. We have a very complicated area the roof has leaked since the house was first built 30 years ago.. We tried to have it fixed several times , but always leaked.... Our friend said the problem could be the flashing under the stucco of the vertical wall where it meets the pitched roof, so we opted to have the 7 inches of stucco removed to replace the flashing. (the companys both suggested having the flashing on the outside of the stucco, but cosmetically we live on the salt water and was concerned that it would rust... and releak. We had to find another stucco man which a friend recommends who was very good restucco over it Justin said he under bid the job. He worked by himself (except for one day) It took him 6 8 hour days of hammering and removing 4 layers of old patch material and replace it.d

I called several roofers on Angies list, only two responded.The other roofer took a week to get me the estimate promised the next day. The sales person from Hogan was on time called several time to make sure appointment was still om and came ready to do a om site estimate. I in the past have worked for a roofer( wood repair) so I already had a knowledge of what was to be done. The sales person ran down the process correctly and gave me a price. I was worried about the weather at the time because of rain and i was assured that the total job would be done in one day.I have a 2500 square foot hose and it was double shingled, thay showed up with rain in the air and we had to poetpone till the next day. the next day I had more guys on my roof than any other roofing job i have ever seen and all the work was done in one day.including alot of rotted wood. I inspected everything they did and it was one of trhe nicest roof jobs i have seen.and for what they charged me for the wood work I would not have even thought about doing it myself.

We called to get an estimate, and someone took our information. The person answered the phone said someone would call us back and no one ever bothered to call us. I would not recommend this company.

I feel I got an excellent roof to protect my home. It was not a perfect experience. Though I was told that they should be putting the roof on on Friday, I did not get the confirmation call as promised, so when the trucks rolled up at 7am I had not taken any breakables off the shelves or wall. It was a rather hectic start. The crew did the roof very quickly, and did all the contract called for. The woodwork on the replacement facica board was not as clean as I expected. The chaulk was applied with a finger and was sloppy. There was a curved piece of wood that needed replacement but the crew did not have the proper tools to cut this correctly. Even though I was not thrilled by the quality of the woodwork, once I get those pieces painted the issues should be unnoticeable. I received several phone calls in regards to the payment, the roof was put on on a Friday, well Saturday I got a call about payment and It seemed that me not wanting to be bothered on my weekend was not the answer they wanted. I told the owner that Monday was much better to get the payment and it seemed to be handled. Monday I received a call from the owner who was scheduling a time to come get paid, but then I got a call from the salesman. The salesman, told me his boss was freaking out on him over the payment, he wanted me to know that payment was expected at completion. I told him that his boss had called and was on his way it would taken care of. Unfortunately, that did not end the call, the salesman continued to talk about how the payment is needed. He went on to say some other things that I found insulting, so I ended the call. The boss got there shortly after that and as he entered my home announced how he had given me a $56 discount. I was amused that when I gave him the $200.00 coupon from Angie's List, that $56 discount got put back in the final bill. Overall, I am happy with the work and the roof, though it was not the prefect experience.

John Hogan is a gracious and honest business man who runs an efficient and respectful crew. Work was performed shortly after quote and follow up; and with little damage to exterior of yard. Materials were top quality and the job was completed in a timely fashion.

John Hogan came out and gave us an estimate for a 3 ply self-adhering system (no standing water on the flat serface) and was able to schedule us 2 weeks later. They arrived (crew of 2) on time and removed the old roofing and repaired a small area then began to replace the roof. Extra work had to be done to accomadate a new pool cage. Unable to complete the job in one day they returned on Independence Day and completed the job by the end of the morning. Everything was cleaned up and left neat and tidy. John was a joy to work with, a real gentleman.

It went very well. Honest and reasonably priced.

Overall did a good job as promised. Completed entire roof in one day plus a few hours. Only complaint is that I had to remind them to cover AC units to avoid debris.

Mr Whittemore gave me an estimate and I went with another company.

They did a thorough job and had a great crew. They worked very hard until the job was complete. I was very impressed.

My old porch roof was leaking and Robert (my contact person) immediately sent a person out June 21 (the day after I signed the contract) to successfully repair the porch roof (for no charge) until the entire roof could be scheduled for replacement (I had two other roofers unsuccessfully attempt to repair the porch roof prior to contracting the entire roof replacement with Hogan's Roofing). A few weeks later (late July) my existing tile roof and conventional flat porch roof were both removed and replaced with roofing that meets the new hurricane standards, along with the simultaneous installation of two sun tubes. Robert was extremely responsive and the yard was kept very clean throughout the process. I was pleased with the entire process and have had absolutely no problems with the new roofing !! I obtained twelve estimates before choosing Hogan's Roofing and judged them to be at the top for quality and yet with a reasonable price. Also they had the top GAF "Master Elite" roofing contractor designation that only a few roofers have in the Tampa Bay area. Approximately two weeks after my roof was replaced my sister contracted with Hogan's Roofing and had a new shingle roof installed. My sister is also pleased with the experience. She purchased a 25 year 100% guaranteed shingle roof for approximately $8,900.

I received a call for the estimator to come out and when the day came, he showed up on time. He was very friendly and personable and I was interested in his estimate. He told me that he had to get with the owner, would leave a CD in by mailbox on Monday, and have an estimate for me by that week. The week goes on and I hear nothing, I emailed on Wednesday and called on Thursday and was assured someone would get back with me. Week + later and still haven't heard back from them. I was hesitant in leaving this review, because no work was done. But I feel customer service is something that should occur in totality...before, during and after the sale...treat customers with respect and decency. If you can't do something, just say so...don't say something and not follow through with it and don't ignore the customer.

We had a lot of communication issues but the end product is pretty much exactly what I asked for. Any times I had a complaint they stopped and repaired it. The quality was good but I was on the roof while they were. They busted up some drywall downstairs during the tear off, but they compensated me for it. There was a lack of supervision on the tear off.

They did an excellent job. They were very efficient. They handled their work nicely and finished the work when they said they would. As far as I can tell, the quality of their work was excellent. I would definitely use their service in the future.

Everything was excellent. They did a good follow up and sent us an income tax credit.

When their salesman finally got in touch with me, several days after my call, he scheduled a visit for a few days later. He was very thorough in both his inspection and his explanation of the company's services, and his estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, that sales call was the only time he was prompt about anything. He was very slow in returning both my initial call and a later one asking for follow-up info. And he missed by several days a promised delivery date for shingle samples and additional printed literature. Faced with a choice of this company and a competitor, and with positive Angie's List reports for both. I chose the other firm because they were much quicker to return calls and were prompt in all other dealings with me.
