Spoke to Rita on the phone several times. She was friendly and promptly returned all of my calls. She was able to schedule someone to come out within a couple days. Luckily, I didn't have any interior moisture or damage. So, they simply had to repair the hole in my stucco on my exterior wall.

Absolutely horrible. DO NOT use this company. A 2-week project turned into 10 weeks! Incompetent project managers, incompetent owners, all kinds of excuses, and the price kept changing and escalating. You will hear every excuse in the book! We lost rental income, our own vacation time..... a complete disaster.

Apparently if the leak is less than 10 square feet, you don't need to spend $140/day to rent equipment to dry it out. Of course, he didn't bother to be honest about that. He charged us the full $800 even though we had him come out a day earlier to pick up the equipment since the area was dry. He stated it was because I signed an agreement to pay him that amount. That is true, but he told me it was based on a $140 per day rate. We had the equipment from Tues evening to Friday afternoon. He didn't repair anything. All he did was dry it out and charge us a ridiculous amount of money. I will not use them again.

"Upon arriving at the member's house, our technician performed a moisture test we found wet tile, wet drywall and wet base boards. A visual inspection for mold was also done. No mold was found. The 10 square feet rule mentioned is for mold remediation not water damage, leaving any wet materials in a home could eventually become a mold problem. So, on a dry out there is no such rule, leaving any water trapped in a wall cavity is a bad idea. We quoted a price of $800.00 to $850.00 to dry it out. We charged $800.00 and it was dry upon equipment removal. Further, the member informed our technician later in the week she hired a handyman to do other work in the house and would have him do baseboard replacement so there was no need of our further services. We regret this upset but we kept our word and had we not dried out this bathroom the cost of repairs would be many times the dry-out cost, which is why the insurance industry is so willing to pay the same charges this customer; unfortunately, you had to pay out of pocket. This was an extremely difficult case as we first contacted BayCraft months before work was actually able to be done due to insurance claim handled with negligence. (Still unresolved.) BayCraft however, was extremely helpful and submitted necessary repair estimates to the very difficult insurance company. BayCraft's staff did everything they could do expedite and assist in this matter. The entire BayCraft team was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and highly professional. They were never late, not even five minutes! They always returned calls, passed messages, etc. They seemed to operate as one very efficient unit. All were curteous and customer/consumer oriented company. This company is consumer friendly and not in the pocket of homeowners insurance companies. They do however have a tremendous understanding of the system most reputable insurance companies use which is a fantastic benefit for their customers. Top notch remediation company, very fine employees.

We called BayCraft Restoration after reviewing their website. Dan Bickford, the owner, provided a lot of helpful information over the phone. Despite a full schedule, he came out to inspect our mold problem on the very same day. He was extremely knowledgeable and unhurried in sharing information. After getting one other bid, we decided to go with him based on his knowledge and his personal involvement. He had his crew come out to contain and seal off the area within a day of our signing the contract. The entire job of mold remediation and air scrubbing was finished that same week. We were very impressed with this company's professionalism and responsiveness.
