They installed some impact resistant sliding glass doors for me. The openings were large and they were able to find doors that would fit when others couldn't. The installation went great and everything looks great. I had no unresolved issues.

They advised me what needed to be done, worked with us to select products to meet our needs, installed the windows timely and with excellent workmanship.

They have so many more options for their products than any other person I could find. Nothing is impossible for them. I did have to wait a while for the door to be ordered but I knew that upfront. they took care of installing it and reframed it beaufitul and repainted the trim They are so efficient with their sceduling and getting the work done in a timely manner. they also rekeyed all my doors so that I can use the same key at no additional cost. They gave me wind mitigating report for me so that I could get a discount on my homeowners insurances. They also gave me a discount since I am an Angie's List member.

We live in a gated community and the home association has rules and guidelines that must be followed and the crew were mindful of this thru the entire process. They were willing to offer any information to the ARB board and made sure we were in compliance. The result is above our expectations.

DAVID came out to my house on time and went over everything with me. We also walked up and down my street to look at what my neighbors had. Installers showed up on time and worked hard everyday that they were here. (3days) CLEAN, COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. Karen took care of the permit and all paperwork involved. BRUCE came out and stained the door and frame and painted woodwork, great job. I can't thank this company enough. NICE, HONEST,hard working people. ALSO, David worked with me on the financial side of things.

Ordering the door was a pleasant experience. Brian showed us sample doors and explained and showed us how the doors were constructed. We were promised delivery the end of August. When that didn't happen I called and was told there had been a glitch in delivery from the manufacturer. Delivery date was set then and when that date came around we were told some parts had not been delivered with the door so they again set another delivery date of September 21 and they did install the door on this date. We had to call to find out when the finisher would be there to stain the trim around the door. He came when he promised to. The door is beautiful and they did a great job of installing and finishing it.

The crew from Armortech arrived on time on 9/17 and went to work immediately. They were on the property until around 6 p.m. They also removed the remaining vertical blinds in the guest bedroom and the master bedroom and disposed of them. They returned on 9/18 and completed the removal and installation of the new windows and doors around 3 p.m.. They were polite and respectful throughout the job. They cleaned up after themselves and paid close attention to the outside of the property as well which has extensive landscaping in place. I have absolutely nothing but praise for their customer service, professionalism, and work ethic, and would recommend them highly.

The salesman, Brian, was exceptionally nice and knowledgeable. He gave me one price - no "today's price only" kind of sales pitch. He followed through when the work began to be sure everything was going as planned. The installation team worked efficiently and did superb work, explaining anything that might be a concern, such as leaving the screw holes open until after the inspection was complete. The painter was less efficient, taking much longer to complete the painting than was necessary, but he did a fine job with all the painting. My only disappointment was that I had to call back several times for follow-up with door handles that had to be re-ordered because they were not the correct handles. I would like to have had the company call me, instead, with timely updates for the installation of the correct handles. In the end, everything was as it was intended to be.

My experience with Armortech went very well. When I called Armortech I spoke with Steve. I gave him the window sizes over the phone and he called back with the estimate. Not only were the prices one of the lowest, but Steve was very professional. I set up a time for him to come and measure the windows and I signed the contract and about a month later the windows were installed. The installation crew was very pleasant and professional. My overall experience with Armortech was very nice. I now wish I got a new entry door too. But when I am ready for that I will definitely use Armortech. Armortech was one of 7 different estimates that I received. I did a lot of research on different types of windows. I suggest that you do your homework - because some of the contractors flat out lied to me and some I felt didn't even take me seriously when they got to my house. After receiving all these estimates it was a very easy decision to go with Armortech. I am very happy that I used Armortech.

The windows and doors look great. When the inspector came, he said they did good work and went over and above what the code called for. I am very pleased with the results.

I called to arrange a quote. Talked to Steve. He insisted that I give him the quote I received from another company. When I refused, he pressured me and said "why can't you give me the other quote?". I said because I want a competitve biid from him and don't want to give him that information. He kept insisting I should tell him this information and hung up. I don't need that kind of stress. I just wanted a quote.

Dave was very prompt at coming to give me an estimate. I shopped around a bit and decided to go with Armortech because of price and professionalism. They scheduled me promptly when the doors and windows came in. Brian & Zach, the installers, were very good. Brian recommended an excellent solution to the frame that had to be added around the sliding door. They were both very efficient and friendly, cleaned everything up and finished on time. I felt comfortable having them in my home. I will definitely call Armortech when I decide to replace more windows in the future.

They were very reliable. The installers did a good job and were thorough. Brian and Zack did a very good job. They were the installers. We are very pleased with the windows.

I called Jeff from Armortech off of the Better Business Bureau website (this is before we got smart and joined Angie's list), and he came out and checked out our window. We had a brief discussion about trying to match the decorative metal pieces to the rest of the house. Jeff and I tried to get in touch with the original manufacturers, but the likely manufacturers were either out of business or non-responsive, so we went with plan B. Plan B involved Jeff taking off the metal pieces himself, replacing the glass and reattaching these things to match the look of all the other windows. He did a great job. Jeff stayed in touch with us throughout the follow up period and was sensible about the timeline of repair. We got the job done on the day we agreed on and his price was fair for what he had to put in to the job. Overall, my family and I had a good experience and would recommend Armor Tech to anyone in the area.

They came out to do an estimate and then they came out to re-measure the second time. They started installing yesterday and today and then they will be back tomorrow. It will take 3 days to do them all. They installed high impact windows and doors for the whole house. They took out the existing windows and doors and installed the new ones and patio sliders. I am good to go for any hurricane now. I don't need to batten down the hatches. I can see people flying through the air from my windows. The quality and price and service are what made me go with this company. I had about 5 - 6 people do presentations and do estimates and they were by far the most professional, no hard pressure, they had a show room, and they came out and measured. It was a delight to work with them.

Company rep. came to measure the replacement door and collect deposit as was agreed but the scheduling of installing the product was a sad story of mis-schedulings and each mistake Armortech made was never accepted but only excuses were made. The two people I spoke to, one on the telephone and the on-site rep. were rude and insulting.

Service provided was excellent. Extremely helpful in assisting us in deciding on what door to purchase that would meet our goals. Explained the process on what we could expect from ordering to delivery and installation. Keep us informed throughout the whole process. Installers and craftsmen always arrived on time and were very knowledgeable in their skills. Had one minor problem with the lock and the craftsman responded within 30 minutes of us notifying the company and made the appropriate repair. Very happy with service.

Contracting with David Yount and his crew at Armortech was a great experience from getting an estimate on day 1 to the completion of the job. The price was excellent and the in-house installers did an extraordinary job. They were extremely neat, clean and careful in doing their job. This company is highly recommended.

After meeting with several contractors, I chose Armortech Windows & Doors to replace my windows and sliding doors for the entire house. They replaced the existing aluminum windows and sliders with a great quality (Simonton for the windows & Custom Doors for the three sliders, one of which was 12 feet wide). My experience with Armortech could not have been more pleasant. From the price to the finished product everything went smooth. Of course a couple of problems occurred during the installation, but the lead installer, Randy, handled everything efficiently and to my satisfaction. He quickly addressed and resolved any issues I brought to his attention. Even when the weather was not ideal (we had some torrential downpours and extreme humidity the week of the installation) Randy and staff maintained a great attitude and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend you get several quotes then bring in Dave, the President/Owner of Armortech Windows & Doors, and have him give you a non-pressured quote. No bad mouthing the competitors, just the information you need, any question answered, and a flexible payment schedule you will appreciate. I am extremely happy with the windows and doors I selected and I have noticed a difference in the level of outside noise and how much less often my A/C kicks in. I did a lot of research and chose Simonton windows and Custom Door sliders. Thank you Dave and the Armortech staff for such a smooth installation.

There was a delay of only a couple of days due to inclement weather but arrangements were made to have a larger crew on one day rather than smaller crews on two days, so the job actually worked out better. The old windows were removed with minimal damage or mess. The new ones installed without measurement problems or buildups being necessary. The crew did an excellent job of removal, installation, and clean up. They were professional and courteous. THE WINDOWS LOOK GREAT! Not enough time has passed to judge the cost effectiveness with the energy bill ,( nor have we received the rebate yet) and the weather has not been severe to evaluate their sturdiness but I am confidient the windows will meet my expectations. Yes, the cost was high, but the experience , working with the company and the hassle free installation and the window quality has been worth it so far.

All went well overall and job was completed in a timely manner. all personnel assigned to perform the work seemed to be professional and performed the various required tasks well. They concentrated on performing work and did spend time talking on cell phones etc.
