It began good. My AC went out and I needed it fixed on a Sunday. So since I'm a Christian, I looked into "Christian" AC businesses. Anointed Air came up and I'd heard him advertise on WAY FM so I called. John offered to come that afternoon and I took him up on it. There was a charge for weekend work, but we had company coming the next day so that was fine. He came out and did it that evening with his father. I noticed the electric bills skyrocketing, and just figured it was the hot summer we were having. It kept up for several months so I called the electric company and they assigned me a specialist in energy savings. This man did a lot of research and found that the electrical usage had increased approximately 30% on exactly the day that the AC was installed. So I called John. He sent a guy out there to take a look at it who immediately told me it was just the hot summer. He looked at things but didn't seem to understand that everything remained the same EXCEPT for the new AC unit. There isn't much choice in the matter, the AC is either a lemon or not hooked up correctly. So I spoke with John after this and he said he was going to look at it himself. Weeks go by, no John. So I call the office and talk to Grace. She says she's going to send John out. Weeks go by, no John. I call the office and talk to another lady in there, she'll pass the message to John. This goes on for some time and he even came out a few times and tried to sell me more equipment for outrageous costs. It took everything I had to keep my cool with him. When I finally had a reputable company come out, they found: 1) The AC he put in was mismatched to the Air Handler 2) The AC unit he sold me was a R22 unit which he thought was unethical for John to sell since it wouldn't be serviceable in the near future 3) John didn't install a Filter Dryer 4) John didn't pull a permit 5) John left a hole between my AC and my garage for critters to get through Prior to me calling the other AC company to look into this, John had promised various things to try to fix the issue but never delivered on any of them (that would not have alleviated the issue anyway). To this day I have very high electric bills in the summer but I'm told when I replace my Air Handler, I'll also need to replace the compressor even though it's new and I just can't afford it. Stay away from this guy, he WILL take you! I've had others contact me about him as well who have gotten ripped off. Most recently a few weeks ago by someone who got ripped off for $16,000.

Avoid this business and John Teague at all costs!!! He told us that the compressor was shot (probably struck by lightening) and that he would have it replaced under the parts warranty. Of course, labor and refrigerant are not included under the warranty, so he charged us $1,307 for those things as well as a new dryer, which he said was required but not covered under the warranty. The next day, he called me and told me that everything was completed as promised, so we met back at our house, and I paid him. When my husband came home that evening, he discovered that the compressor had not been replaced at all - the only thing that was done was a hard-start kit had been installed (which John charged us another $178 for, on top of the $1,307). I confirmed with the Goodman Distribution Center in Ft Myers that a search in their system of the unit's serial numbers shows that nothing has ever been replaced under the warranty. John Teague clearly defrauded us. I have had many many contacts with John over the last month, and he has never once even tried to defend what he did. He repeatedly promises to give us our money back, but there is always either an excuse as to why he didn't bring it when promised or he just completely blows us off. I will probably never see the money, but I want to at least try to prevent him from doing this to others in the future.
