Celebrity Pool and Spa

I bought my home right after the previous owners had installed a gorgeous pool with spa and Baja shelf. Shane/Celebrity Pools installed this gorgeous oasis. Everyone raves about it. Whenever I have reached out to Shane - he responds immediately! The Penntair heater/blower/pump are outstanding , and I just got off the phone with Screen Logic - the App control for Pentair. They solved my problem immediately and were very helpful with understanding the intricacies of the App. I highly recommend Celebrity Pools.

We have had numerous issues within our 12 month warranty. Each time, Shane Mirise, owner, refuses to come out and look. He loves to cut corners too. After they drained to the pool to supposedly fix the leak I re-filled the pool twice with chemicals and he never offered to pay for that inconvenience. It always comes down to $$ for him. It all went wrong when I complained that his tile guy was burying all the broken travertine in my yard! After that the tile guy took a hammer to my gutter downspout. The tile guy also left so much paper trash and food containers, that I filled 2 large black trash bags with it. They also left broken pallets in my neighbor yard. When grading, one side was one foot shorter than the other. Shane argued with me until the fence guy told him EVEN a fence could not be installed on that uneven terrain. So then he covered the top soil with FILL DIRT and rocks where the grass and garden were to be planted and IN the 7x12 Planters. This makes it difficult to plant and grow anything. We noticed the LEAK a few months after completion. The leak problems have been ongoing for 9 months. This last time (this week)he sends me the bill after repair service found out his people put pipes in one location and then decided to relocate them to the other side and did not cap the first pipes. Shane sent several different subcontractors out and it was still not fixed. Finally, he called Pool Solutions who said it was his fault for not capping the pipes. Then Shane refused to pay the bill for $294. And without proof he tells Pool Solutions that my husband cut the pipes which is simply untrue. During the diagnosis, Shane said those pipes did not do anything and there was no way they could leak. So which is it? They have no function or my husband cut the pipes? His stories show he does not now what he is doing. His manner has become very erratic. He, impatiently, talks over the person he is speaking to on the phone be it me or my husband. Another problem was the pebble finish coated a light which made the light crack. This was repaired but it shows poor workmanship Instead of handling a problem, one time Shane told me to call one of his workers, Nick, myself saying That is on Nick; call Nick; Pool Solutions said our AUTO Fill installation was a joke and that was after Shane sent 3 people to supposedly fix it. Shane says he always has problems with those and probably would not install them in the future, rather than learn the correct way to install. He also told us he underestimated the cost of our planters, probably why he would not hold up his warranty. He seemed very perturbed about this but we thought it unprofessional that he brought it up. Classic Shane: 1.Accusatory- trying to pin bill on others; poor follow up. 2.Few inspections after subcontractor (handyman caliber) finishes (3 visits in 12 weeks of construction and no visits for ANY warranty work/issues), 3.Poor communication (did not order salt for pool service until 3 months after install, then told ME to dump it in a day before they drained it for the first leak repair; 4.Tells me to keep hose running when leak is pouring out of back of pool. 5. Will not visit to diagnose problems, 6.handles customer service like a call center except the questions are accusatory. 7. No pool School to teach you how pool functions. 8. His assessments are illogical. I tell him I think there are two leaks and he says he will work on one. (?) To get out of a bill under warranty he blames (lies )my husband for cutting pipes when his people did it and forgot to cap causing a leak . Even the repair tech determined that they relocated pipes and forgot 9. Cheap vs. correct solutions (fill dirt, multiple handymen vs 1

We love our new pool - Celebrity Pools did a vey good job! Shane is easy to work with. We enjoy the outdoors more than ever. The constrution was no hassle at all - everyone was very professional and they cleaned up every evening. We are Happy we picked Celebrity Pools !

Best experience we have ever had with a contractor. The quality of materials he offers for a competitive price is unbelievable. Our pool is exceptional. Very communicative and responsive. Very educational. The highest rating isn't high enough for these people! Outstanding! It took us awhile to determine who to use and this contractor was very patient with us.

Excellent service throughout the project and even after. Excellent communication, time frames, etc. Great, honest people to work with. Would use them again for any pool needs.

The project was well scheduled and experienced no delays. Very responsive and project was completed earlier than originally expected. Addressed all questions very promptly. Would defiinitely recommend them.

Everything they said they would do, they did. Timelines were met and in Florida that is a miracle. Their work ethic and quality was very good.

My pool renovation project was just completed today. We added a spa & sun shelf to our existing pool, upgraded our pool system and replaced our brick paver deck with travertine stone. Wow... what a difference! I would highly recommend Shane. He was extremely knowledgeable, responsible and responsive. He and his team did an excellent (quality) job, and provided us with a high level of care and attention throughout the process. This is VERY hard to find in pool contractors. I'm so glad we chose Celebrity Pools. I've already recommended them to my friends in the neighborhood!!

Celebrity Pools built the perfect new Pool/Spa under very difficult conditions. Shane needed to work with the City of Bonita Springs to get a permit under new zoning rules that made the task of building a pool more difficult. Additionally, the construction equipment needed to use a side that was very narrow that other pool builders said was not possible. The pool construction, travertine tile, and pool glass tile were all first quality, and he used premium Pentair pool equipment. The cost was very competitive, and the pool met all of my requirements.

They did what they said they would do answered all our questions and everything is working perfectly.

Having just purchased our first home in Florida my husband and I faced the daunting task of finding a reputable pool contractor to construct a new pool on our property. We reached out to many companies and only 2 gave us a response in a reasonable amount of time with a high level of professionalism. We chose Celebrity based on that quality and the transparency in quoting our project with specific equipment and attention to detail. From start to finish Shane was so responsive and easy to work with. I have over 25 yrs of experience in construction and I rarely find that quality in my profession. Our pool, deck and enclosure were finished on time with no surprise extras and the work is so good that even the city inspector complimented the quality of the equipment and installation. This was our very first pool project and we would never look any further than Celebrity for any future work We may need done!

Shane did a fantastic job. I am fully pleased with everything that was planned and executed safely. I got 4 bids and he was the best. It was a pleasure working with him.

Customer service was the best part of my experience. Very professional, meet up at his office and made selections of renovation materials and provided a two page scope of work/detailed proposal with breakdowns of pmt due for each process. Everything had separate stages and every stage has it's own separate pmt and I like the way he structured that.

We have just finished having our pool redone along with all new travertine tiles on our pool deck and lanei by Celebrity Pool and Spa. Shane and his crew did such a beautiful job on everything, we love it! They really went above and beyond and have made our home even better than we had ever imagined. Shane made everything so stress free and always answered any questions while checking on site daily. He was always on schedule. By and far the best experience we have ever had with any contractor! The easiest guy to work with. His communication skills were fabulous. Never once didn't answer when I called. We changed the project numerous times and he walked us through the entire process. Wonderful experience. I would recommend him to anyone. And definitely plan on working with him on future projects.

I was very pleased with the service they performed. How quickly they came out , answered all my questions and how dependable they were. Overall I think they are an extremely honest and dependable company.

I interviewed 4 HomeAdvisor suggestions for my project and Shane is quite amazing. He really comes and checks on job daily, even though he has his main construction guy here! They started June 3rd and finished July 2nd. The whole experience was terrific. No complications, no discussion, everything when smooth. I admire Shane as the owner of Celebrity Pools and really liked the workers. Very good experience.

Shane was really easy to work with. He gave us good examples, and took us to other sites to show us the work he does with his team. We made the decision very easily that he was the person to go to. He stood behind his work with an inspection after the work was done and did minor changes. Everything was well done and he has a great team, very customer oriented!

Shane will do everything in his power to make your dreams come true when it comes to you pool, Honestly!

Shane will sell you on job but you will be less than satisfied with overall work. Waiting exactly 49 days from todays date 6/14/2019 for flaws to be fixed. Atleast what can be repaired to an OK job. Stay away. Reviews should allow photos

He laid out everything ahead of time, it turned out just beautiful and was completed ahead of schedule. He uses computer illustrations and hands on so you can visualize it ahead of time. Definitely a man of integrity.

Everything was done the way I wanted and even better. All the workers were very amiable and willing to do what I asked them to.

The one thing that i loved about this company is the contractor Shane Mirise stays in contact with us, he is great with everything. I am so happy. He is personable and he has become my friend. he is calm and gentle.
