With regards to the A/C work... from the very 1st night after installation, there was a problem. It took upwards of 1 month of phone calls and 2 visits by contractor to identify the problem to be fixed. Contractor never came back to fix. Even after I was leaving town, worried about mold buildup in my house and the contractor said they would perform the proper repair.....they didn't return and fix. Additionally, after attempting to diagnose the problem over the phone (from the start), i was directed (for the 2nd time) to purchase a new thermostat.....as that "had" to be the problem and solution. This was after I had already purchased 1 thermostat (per contractor recommendation), installed it and personally discovered that did not fix the problem....i then was able to return it for a refund. I informed the contractor all along what I had done. Next I was told where to go, what to get, etc.... Come to find out after i did purchase the 2nd thermostat, that did not solve the problem either! Then I couldn't return the thermostat to place of purchase because it was opened. Contractor would not and still has not credited me with the cost of the thermostat (as I requested/demanded) due to their own incompetency. With regards to exhaust vent work performed at my business, since day 1 the vents have been coming apart, falling down....just all out shotty work. Contractor had come back several times within 1 year to fix and rig the vents as a method of repair. It seemed as if it was working but all it was was cheap, unprofessional work. The last incident (of which the contractor never came back to perform the work) ...the problem was identified in August 2011. As I said before, contractor never finished the job.
Description of Work: Had an entirely new A/C unit installed at my home. Also had this company perform well over $10,000 worth of work at my business performing exhaust venting work (in 2010).
