Description of Work: Install over the range microwave oven. New cabinets so need holes drilled for cord and screws. Vents into kitchen so no vent issue. Would like to have done asap before Thanksgiving.

Description of Work: I contacted Arnold at 8:30Am on Monday as my dryer had stopped producing heat. He offered to come over same day to which we scheduled 12-3. He called me at noon to say he would be over in 15 minutes to which he was. He inspected the dryer and found the issue and made the repair. He also looked at my washing machine as I had mentioned it was making noise, but I forgot to tell him that when I originally called. He was very professional and friendly and after an hour toan hour and 15 min he had replaced my bad wire and the cost was reasonable at 159.00. I hope I do not need to call him for anything else, but if I did I would not hesitate as the service was great!

Description of Work: Arnold was very responsive and was able to come the next day to look at our dishwasher that stopped working. He tried to repair it but was unable to do so. He then offered us a reconditioned unit that was a step up from what we had for $250 including installation. It came with a 90-day warranty so it seemed like the best option on a budget! So far, so good...I would definitely recommend Arnold and his guys at Apopka Appliance!

Description of Work: The repairman was very thorough. He checked out every possibility of why the machine was doing what it was. He knew the machine very well, and I enjoyed the fix he made to it. He gave me a choice of buying a new machine, but said that my floor may have a problem so the machine was still going to shake a little. I chose not to buy a new machine, and he did not push me to do so, so I am pleased with the service.

Description of Work: They checked my refrigerator and discovered that the compressor was not working. They could not fix it due to the type of refrigerator it was, and suggested I call the company which I did. I was very happy with Apopka Appliance. They were courteous and honest.

Description of Work: Detected and replaced burnt-out (lightning) compressor relay switch. Very knowledgeable serviceman, problem was diagnosed swiftly, had replacement part in truck - even through rarely needed part.

Description of Work: I detected water from my dishwasher on the kitchen floor. I called them to see if the problem was related to the dishwasher or some other cause they inspected the dishwasher and ascertained it was not the dish washer. I then called a plumber. They charged me $80. for just coming out. a distance of approx. 8 miles but they were here in the area on other calls.

Description of Work: On the phone, owner, Mr. Edwards, suggested that I check to see if any ice had built up in the freezer section. I checked and there was ice build up. He suggested that I unplug the refrigerator, allow that ice to complete melt and then plug in back in and this would save a service call. I did that, and the refrigerator worked fine for 2 days, but the ice built up again. Mr. Edwards made his first service call to help determine the failure. His inclination from his experience that this type of refrigerator commonly builds up ice because the doors are not fully closed or the freezer drawer is left partly open allowing condensate to freeze up and the automatic defrosting could not handle it. He eventually determined that the control circuit board was faulty and that was replaced. I appreciated the fact that Mr. Edwards tried to save me the cost of a service call before it was really needed.

Description of Work: the dryer kept turning itself on. There was some sort of problem with a switch which they replaced on the spot. Even though this dryer is 16 years old, they recommended that I repair it because "it is the best dryer ever made and you'll never find another one this reliable." They are right because this is only the 2nd repair in 16 years!

Description of Work: I called Apopka Appliance to see if they were available to come and look at our washer because it was leaking water. I called them around noon on the Saturday (Dec. 22) before the holiday. This was very short notice, but they were very nice and said they would do their best to come out that day. I was so grateful. It turns out that another company that was closer to us was able to come out and do the work. But, I really appreciated the fact Apopka Appliance was so nice to offer to do whatever they could to help right before the holiday.

Description of Work: Our washing machine had leaked on the floor. They came out in 30 minutes from when I called. Both men were polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. They checked every possibility and explained exactly what they were doing and why. They were able to determine that it was probably overflow from the reset button being stuck. They did not try to sell me anything, and said they would come back out for free in the next 30 days if anything else goes wrong. He also advised me to pick up a 10 dollar surge protector for my refrigerator, something I never would have thought to do and may save me hundreds of dollars. Again, he didn't try to sell me one, just gave great advice. I was VERY pleased with the entire interaction and would use them again in a heartbeat. I can't recommend them enough!
