TREE SERVICE QUICK CUT

The cutting down and removal of the trees went great! The grinding of the stumps and grindings went horrible since the contractor never came back to complete this part of the job . The Quick Cut owner cut down four trees on my property and did a good job. He also contracted to grind out the stumps as well but never returned to complete this part of the job. During the following five weeks he gave me nothing but excuses as to why he had not been back to grind out the stumps. Eventually he quit returning my calls. I realized then that he simply did not want to do the stump grinding. He low balled his estimate on the stump grinding portion to get the job. Fortunately I had not paid him for the stump grinding portion of our contract, just three payments for the tree cutting as the job progressed. Leaving the stumps in my yard left me with a mess since two of the stumps had uprooted my fence which could not be replaced until the stumps were removed. Finally I had to have someone else grind out the stumps at a higher price than what Quick Cut had contracted for. I finally checked out Quick Cut with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and found out they graded him with an F. Wish I had called the BBB before I gave him the job. Such a shame since he seemed like such a nice young man. My wife and I are senior citizens and this is how he treated us. He certainly is not reliable and we will never use him again. He left us with a mess to fix and wasted a lot of our time.
