Choice Remodeling & Restoration

On March 2, 2018, I contracted Choice Remodeling and Restoration to have a new Flat Roof replacement with GAF TPO System. I requested it to be done before first credit payment in April. They did not replace it until August 3, 2018. Two day later, it rain and the same leak continued. I called several times to, Patrick Peale, Project Consultant, 302-766-2759. Patrick wrote up the contract and told me, if I have any questions or problem, I was to contact him. He very semond answering my emails or return my phone calls. He once said to me "give me a break". On Sept. 11, 2018, the roofer, Eddy Saravia, 609-902-6279, who put the new flat roof on, came out and checked the roof. He did some caulking. Eddy came out several times to caulk and did a water test on March 26, 2019. Still the roof leaks. Jan 28-30, 2019, I tried contacting, John Paoletti-owner and principal and senior executive, 484-343-5953, several time and left voice messages. John Paoletti never returned any of my calls. I had to stop payment and depute charges to get their attention. On Feb. 19, 2019, I talked with, Ana Sterba-office manager regional, 717-580-5513. Ana contacted me about my payments. I explained, to Ana, the problem that my flat roof continues to leak when it rains. She said that she will talk with John Paoletti about the roof leaking. Never heard from John Paoletti or Ana Sterba about the flat roof leak. On March 7, 2019, Steve Dietz co-owner, 302-507-0032, called, we talked about the flat roof leak and payments. He called back the same day to make arrangements to come out and check out the flat roof. He never came. Now, he doesn't return any of my calls. On March 26, 2019, roofer Eddy Saravia 609-902-6279 from Choice Remodeling and Restoration and a roofer, from Vivint, DC General Contractor 240-215-6459, came and did a water test. After the hour long water test, Eddy and the other roofer both agreed that Choice Remodeling and Restoration are responsible for my roof leak and the damage the water has caused. Eddy told me and my friend, John, that Choice Remodeling and Restoration are responsible for the water leak and the damage that the water has caused to the wood. I was present when Eddy called Steve Dietz and Eddy explained everything to him and that Choice Remodeling and Restoration are responsible for the leak of the flat roof. Eddy asked me to call him, the next time it rain. He said he or someone from that Choice Remodeling and Restoration will come over to check the roof when it rains. It rain on March 30, 2019, April 19, 2019 and April 23, 2019. I called Eddy and Steve Dietz several times while it was raining, neither returned my calls. May 23, 2019, I called Eddy about the roof, he said that Williams White has not gotten back to him about the roof. The flat roof continues to leak. Now, I have damage to my counter top, floor molding, roof wood and black mold growing on the roof wood. April 22, 2019, I called Discover and stopped the dispute. Choice Remodeling and Restoration received the money I own them from the dispute. I send Choice Remodeling and Restoration the other 2 payment of $400 each for Feb and March. I paid them off, despite the work incomplete and scare of legal action due to contract. I asked Ana Sterbe to send me a statement that I paid Choice Remodeling and Restoration. Never hear or received anything from Ana. It has been almost a year now since Choice Remodeling and Restoration replaced my flat roof. My flat roof still leaks and no one from Choice Remodeling and Restoration will do anything. I have left voice mail and emails to John Paoletti 484-343-5953, Steve Dietz 302-507-0032, Patrick Peale 302-766-2759, Jack 302-353-5204, Ana Sterba 717-580-5513, and I don't have Williams White phone number because they won't give me his phone number, but I did email him, with no reply. June 26, 2019, Eddy Saravia, stopped by my house and asked me if I have heard from anyone from Choice Remodeling and Restoration. Eddy informed me, that John Paoletti and Steve Dietz, won't talk to him about my flat roof leak. I showed Eddy where the water is leaking in. It's between the roof shingles and flat roof that Eddy put on. Eddy informed me that he has a meeting with John Paoletti on Monday July 1, 2019 and that he will try again to talk with John about my roof leak. Choice Remodeling and Restoration did other work on my house, but this is the only issue that still exists. To this day, my flat roof, that Choice Remodeling and Restoration, put on continues to leak. No responds from anyone at Choice Remodeling and Restoration. They just won't return my phone calls.
