Owner Al Greenplate was a breath of fresh air to do business with. I knew what I wanted and he respected that. There was no pressure on his part to upsell me to something I didn't want or need. He was punctual and arrived as scheduled for our initial consultation and the installation. I am very happy with the quality of the services provided, and will definitely consult him again when the need arises.

NO PROBLEMS. I had used AEG for replacement windows several years ago. His price then was WAY better than the quote I had received from another company. It was a no-brainer to call AEG to do the work on my patio doors. The work was done neatly, on time and quickly. It was easy to schedule the work. It's great to have a provider that you know will do the work efficiently and at a reasonable price.

I was contacted within a short amount of time and an appointment was made for the company to come out and measure the space for windows. Al Greenplate, the company owner answered all of my questions and brought in a model of the window that I had purchased so that I could see and appreciate all of the features of said window. Al Greenplate installed the windows in a more than satisfactory manner and took measures to clean up after his self. The windows look great, and I am completely satisfied with the work performed.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Al did the work himself. He was very courteous, professional and responsive to all my questions. He called to let me know he was going to be late due to the I-495 traffic but arrived within his revised timeline. He cleaned up all the work debris. I could not be happier with the windows and will definitely recommend him and use him again.

Work was very professional. Crew of five were organized, worked well together. Removed old windows, wrapped all exposed wood with aluminum and installed new windows. Cleaned up and removed all debris, as well as cleaned the windows They showed up when they said they would and stayed all day until all the work was completed. One problem at the start of the job was the manufacturer shorted the order by three windows As they are a local company AEG contacted them immediatly and had them manufacture the window that day so the installation was completed as scheduled. Big advantage of having a local contractor with a good working relationship with a local manufacturer. If this problem occured with a large chain home improvement store we would had to wait weeks for the rest of the windows. Will be using them for any future windows, doors, etc.

Al was great - very easy to work with, good communicator, and always on time (except when he was running late, but he called to let me know and was accurate in his revised arrival time). He worked quickly, cleaned up everything perfectly, and my new window looks great. Would definitely hire again!

Al was very professional and really cared about his work. Maybe even more important is he listened to our needs, concerns and even our stories. Will are continuing to do work with AEG for the remainder of our windows. I would definitely recommend this company.

I received the original estimate from the owner Al Greenplate in April 2013. When I told him I was surprised at how much it was going to cost, Al came down quite a bit from the original estimate. I received a few other estimates and Al's was the best. I also felt like he was not trying to over-sell like some of the other companies. I had to put off installing the windows until November and when I called him to see if he would honor the original estimate, he said of course. He came out and remeasured and I paid him a deposit equal to the cost of the windows. I thought the deposit he required was a little high, but he explained that he never carries a balance with the window manufacturer and I was good with that. I had also done my due diligence on Al and was comfortable with the deposit. Once he received the date of completion for the windows, he contacted me to set up a date for installation. He said with a team of 5 it would take approximately 2-3 days. The guys showed up on time on the scheduled date and I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of his entire crew. They really were a pleasure to have in my house. One of the guys even fixed my daughter's closet door while he was doing the windows in her room. These men were fantastic and I had an excellent experience. I had a lot of really bad rotting wood and the job they did repairing and replacing the wood was A+. The installation took 2 days and the finish work and clean up were impeccable. They even went above and beyond the call of duty by doing some finish work on my garage doors at no cost. I would highly recommend A.E.G. Contracting if you are looking to replace your windows and I will definitely use them again. Overall my experience with Al Greenplate and his crew was excellent!

Al was on time on 9/4 and he and helper did upstairs windows on day 1 and downstairs on day 2. Great job- they cleaned up well after, and when I got a window stuck this week, Al came out same day to fix and show me what I did wrong.
