Not so well. The insurance company sent out an adjuster, They both went up on the roof and inspected it together, but never went into the attic to inspect the inside of the roof. The adjuster said "the entire roof does not need to be replaced, only a few sections which would cost about $1,800. When the adjuster left, the guy from Legacy said "The adjuster is inexperienced does not know what he is talking about, I will ask for a more experienced adjuster and we will inspect it again. Well that never happened, I received a check from the insurance company for about $832. I called the guy from Legacy and told him about the check. He said "Call the insurance company and tell them you are not happy with that amount. I never heard from the guy again. Since then I had another roofing firm (Angie's List A in everything) came out and inspected the roof inside and out. He found and took pictures of multiple leaks and a lot of the plywood that needs to be replaced. So it seems that the adjuster indeed did not know much about roofs, not inspecting the inside of the roof, same goes for the guy from Legacy! I asked him how could the guy from Legacy could say the roof would cost only $15,000 when so much plywood would need to be replaced? He said "he would tell you that the only three sheets were included and would charge you for the rest, after the shingles had been removed!
