A technician was here within an hour and was very kind, brought his tools and snaked the drain. He was finished in 5 minutes. They're excellent!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He was fine. He was punctual, polite and very friendly and he did the work. The work was guaranteed for 90 days or 6 months. It was 6 months and 1 day after they did the work that it started running again. I called them back and they came back and fixed it but they tried to charge me again. I was furious because it was a day after the warranty expired. Ultimately they ended up not charging me the second time and it is still working. I only had to pay extra for parts. They were fine after I called and said that I didn't want to pay a second time since the warranty had just ended. The guy who came to the house didn't know that he wasn't supposed to charge.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and the service was good. However, they never sent their report of what they did. Their follow up was not the best. They did come to do the inspection, but they tried to sell me something along with the service. I found this a little annoying, even though they did it in a very subtle way. I guess that is part of what they do, but they did a thorough job. They were very good answering the questions that I asked. They were accommodating with the appointment and they were within the time window they said they would be in. I would use them in the future for service.

They came out and gave recommendations for how to correct some plumbing issues we were having. We ended up deciding to wait to have the repairs done but were happy with the service/estimate provided.

After getting a mutually agreeable time, all went smoothly. They did have to come back weeks later when the trash disposal they installed cracked the ring around it and started a slow water leak.

The $29.99 service call Big Deal only covered the visit, not any of the service provided. And considering what he did under the sink, I thought that $225 was high for less than an hour of work. He completed the work as requested and arrived during the window he promised. And he cleaned up after himself. So except for the price, I was satisfied with his work.

The pipe burst on Thursday night. I called Jude at 7:00 and he was there by 8:30. He identified the problem was courteous and fixed it without too much hassle.
He didn't want to start tearing out the cabinets and walls with his tools that late on thursday for fear of desturbing the neighbors and potentially being there for hours. I shut the water off at it froze over overnight so we couldn't find the leak the next morning. However, he came out on saturday and fixed the problem.
The broken pipe was behind cabinets. Jude professionally removed the cabinets, cleaned the area and fixed the pipe. I would highly recommend him.

The two gentleman were trying to find ways to bill additional money. They were upfront that the $29.00 fee did not cover their actual cost.
I would not recommend this company.

This was a simple repair and it was done quickly and efficiently. I had a leaking valve that controlled the flow of water to an outside faucet which needed to be closed for the winter. The plumber showed up on time, recommended a different kind of valve, did the work in short order and cleaned up.

They came out for a problem with a drain in my home. They were polite and professional. They mentioned they would use a stronger electrical pump to solve the problem, but that they cannot guarentee the fix and being that it was costly, I declined.

Mr. Harris was to give me an estimate on a major plumbing job and his technician Dupree noticed that my new toilet was improperly installed by another company. I had Mr. Harris do what was required. The other company did not respond.

We arranged for this service through the use of a Big Deal coupon that we got back in the fall of last year...$29.99 for a plumbing service call. Plumbline called within a few days to be sure we understood how the Big Deal worked; i.e., that the $29.99 did not cover the cost of the repairs, but the cost of the initial visit. We said that we were aware of that, and that we would call closer to the time we wanted the work done. We called around the beginning of January to schedule the work, and they were able to fit us in within eight or ten days, which was fine with us, as we were in no particular hurry. We were given a "window" for the day of the service call...sometime in the p.m. We were told they would call an hour ahead of arrival, which they did. Two men showed up and they got to work straight away. The whole job took about two hours. We paid them upon completion of work and were given a receipt detailing the work performed. Work guranteed for 30 days.

The initial call to Plumbline Plumbers was handled professionally and they delivered on what they promised.... A plumber would return my call and discuss the problem to schedule the visit. It was all completed in less than 48 hours.

I bought a Angie's List Big Deal for $29.99 for "Plumbing Service Call". Since I had a 2-year old toilet that didn't flush properly on the first flush (after approximately 5 hours) but worked fine when all other times this seemed like a great deal to get the toilet fixed. I had an appointment for 10 am and they called at 9:37 am and said they wouldn't be there until 10:30 am - 10:45 am because they had to stop and get parts. I appreciated the phone call but didn't understand why they had to stop and get parts because they didn't know my problem nor the brand of toilet that I had... They arrived at 11:10 am and I explained the problem. The two plumbers couldn't figure out the problem nor fix it. The one plumber kept repeating that there was a lot of confusion with the Angie's List Deal and they were there to diagnois the problem BUT he would fix the problem if he easily could. He also kept repeating about water density being the problem which I didn't understand?? They said that they would have to order the complete insides for my American Standard toilet and come back at $175 plus the cost of the insides. He said the type of insides for my toilet were not common and had to be special ordered. Since I paid a lot for this American Standard toilet that was sold to "flush a bucket of golfballs" and was only 2 years old I decided to try to fix it myself. I adjusted the 'Line Level Adjustment Clip' by turning a knob to raise the water level. My repair worked and has worked properly for three weeks now.

We first called these plumbers the same day we purchased a $29.99 Angie's list and quot;Big Dealand quot; for a and quot;Service Calland quot; because we were having two issues: 1) after long rainy periods,we and our downstairs neighbors with whom we share a rowhouse could hear a leaking sound in the walls, and 2) our cold water pressure would steadily decline the longer a faucet was kept running, even though the hot water pressure was normal.

My understanding was that we would be paying the $29.99 for the plumber to come and assess the problem, and tell us what was wrong. We assumed that once they figured out the problem, they would explain it to us and quote us a price for fixing it.

After our first call, we were told we'd get a call back to schedule a time when a plumber could visit. Several days later we called again, since we hadn't heard from them, and after getting to voicemail (and a full mailbox), we finally managed to reach the same person we'd spoken to before. He told me my problem had and quot;fallen through the cracksand quot; and that that was the reason we hadn't received a call back, but he at least seemed to remember the two issues we'd described to him as needing attention. He then scheduled a visit for October 21 between 9 a.m.-11 a.m. One of us (my fiance) had to take the morning off of work, as did one of our downstairs neighbors with whom we share a water main, to be available for the plumber to visit during that time, but we figured we didn't have much of a choice, so no biggie.

At 11 a.m., with no plumber in sight nor any calls about it, my fiance called the service only to be told that there had been a and quot;mix-upand quot; and that we were on the schedule for the afternoon, from 2-4. Our neighbor had to go to work, and my fiance had to take the rest of the day off to wait for this person.

My fiance then got a call asking him for the address of our place, which the plumber didn't have despite the fact that I'd given it to the person who scheduled the appointment not once but twice.

When the plumber finally showed up, he immediately said that the leak was a and quot;roofing issueand quot; that he couldn't deal with (why he couldn't say this over the phone, I will never know), and then took a look at the pressure issue. In the span of about 5 seconds, he reached into the water main, flicked his wrist, and then turned around and diagnosed the problem as a wrongly turned valve, and then calmly told my fiance that he owed this person $75 for the five second diagnosis/fix (this is on top of the $30 coupon). He did not preemptively explain the problem to my fiance (who would've been happy to turn the knob himself, had he known the cost), he didn't provide a quote for fixing it, and he didn't give him the choice to decline the service. He just looked at the valve, reached in, and fixed it. The entire visit took less than 20 minutes, and the diagnosis/fix took about 10 seconds. When my fiance was reluctant to pay, given that we had a coupon and had not even been given a choice of whether or not to fix the problem, the plumber said the $30 coupon was merely money that went to Angie's List for the referral. He added that if we didn't have the deal, the and quot;service calland quot; on its own would have cost $75, and that fixing the problem (ADJUSTING A VALVE) would have cost $170, so I guess we supposedly saved a lot of money. However, if they seriously intend to charge $250 for this sort of thing, they'll be out of business very shortly.

I should mention there was no apology for the fact that the plumber was three hours late or the attending inconvenience.

Afterwards, to add salt to the wound, my fiance called them to say that we felt $75 was unreasonable and we did not want to pay that amount. Without giving him a chance to propose an alternative price, they offered to refund the full amount (which was nice of them), but went on to berate my fiance, saying they felt they shouldn't have to refund anything since all the money from the coupon went to Angie's List, and they deserved to be compensated for the service they'd provided, and that they do not like the policy of and quot;the customer is always rightand quot; because in this case we (the customers) were definitely wrong. My fiance responded by explaining that it is not our concern what their business arrangement with Angie's List is, and it is their responsibility to ensure their marketing deals are not unprofitable. Furthermore, he noted we paid for a consultation, and that is all we wanted/expected to receive; had we been told what the problem was and what the cost would be to fix it, we would have refused the service and either done it ourselves or searched for a cheaper option. He also added that had the plumber been somewhat nicer, or had he mentioned the cost of the fix prior to performing it, we would have been happy to pay $40 or so for the service. As it was, we are happy we are getting our money back.

Excellent. Dupree was professional, tactful and kept the work-site clean. He provided the estimate up front. He was on time and offered to alter the appointment time at my request before arrival, but I stuck with the plan and was glad. He accurately diagnosed the problem and was thorough. I will call this firm again with my plumbing issues.

They were very knowledgeable and returned our call promptly. They showed up on time and fixed our problems quickly. We enjoyed working with and dealing with them. They were a lot cheaper than other companies that I had called.
