Ann was amazing. She made me feel at ease immediately and was truly an advocate for me in the home-buying process. She has a sharp eye and a ton of experience, all of which she puts to use for her clients. She immediately gave me all the form contracts for DC when we first met, advised me to read them as my "homework", and then to come back with questions. She wanted me to be armed with the knowledge I needed about the process. She was always straightforward and honest with me and I could tell that she was not after the shortest path to a commission. In fact, I had picked out a potential home and all she would have had to do was encourage me to bid and she could have been done with me in a day or two -- instead, she pointed out pros and cons of the property, asked for my input about what I was looking for and how I lived, and gave me the information I needed to make my own informed decision. It took a few weeks for me to find a home, and I decided to make an offer. Ann was patient and always explained what was going on as we wrote a contract, made an offer, and then negotiated with sellers. Though I had a tough time with the lender I chose, Ann always acted as a savvy and thorough intermediary with the Seller. In the end, I closed on a home I love and feel better about my purchase every day. I cannot recommend Ann highly enough. She works solely on recommendation and I can see why she is so successful - my experience was top notch and I would advise others to use her if they have the chance.
